After a very long time away, Grant and Joan are finally back with a rebranded podcast and a little teaser episode. It's an invitation to hear their heart for this new direction and get reacquainted with them!
Grant and Joan conclude their episodes about dating with kids and blending families. In doing so, they share some things from their hearts and hurts that have never been disclosed or discussed before Listen is as they get real and raw once again.
As Grant and Joan enter the new year, they are picking up on their story and talking a bit about what it looks like to start a new relationship when there are kids in the picture. Reflecting back on the early months of their relationship, Grant and Joan take a hard and vulnerable look at themselves and attempt to process all the emotions and thoughts they had then. This week Joan is back with Turner to continue the story of his journey. As Turner shared in the previous episode, there are definite ups and downs to being a male working in childcare.
This past summer Turner experienced one of the worst possible "downs" anyone should ever have to endure. Thankfully on the other side of it now, Turner brings more light to the stigma that surrounds men in childcare and what it can lead to.
From her perspective as a mom who had to see her son go through this, Joan shares once again the importance of praying for your adult children and listening to and obeying prompts from the Holy Spirit.
