Tina and Leah are friends who talk about all things cancer-related... they are also naturopathic doctors. Leah is the cancer insider, and Tina is the sciency one. Got questions about cancer? Chances are good they'll be talking about it from an integrative medicine point of view. Chocked full of just enough science to keep things interesting. They take a subject and break it up into three (or four) episodes. These episodes make up a pod, which is where we get our name, The Cancer Pod. What does it actually mean to advocate for yourself in the medical system?
Dr. Holly Lucille, ND, RN, ONC sat down with Dr. Tina Kaczor for a candid conversation about helping patients access the best possible care through self-advocacy and shared decision-making.
Navigating a cancer diagnosis is incredibly overwhelming. Between well-intentioned opinions from loved ones and rushed informed consent, it’s easy to feel lost. Dr. Lucille brings compassion and pragmatism to the table, explaining why we need to slow down, understand the true risks and side effects, and look at the whole picture—physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Survivor’s guilt is a common and not often talked about emotional experience after cancer. Dr. Leah Sherman sits down with returning guest Natasha Ewa, licensed clinical social worker and founder of I Thrive Therapy and Wellness, for an honest conversation about what survivor’s guilt actually looks like, why body image after cancer is so personal, and what healing can feel like on the other side.
The conversation widens to cover grief over pre-cancer identity, hypervigilance, reconstruction decisions, and Natasha’s documentation of her own DIEP flap experience and complications.

What happens to desire after a cancer diagnosis? In this episode, Dr. Leah Sherman speaks with intimacy coach and cancer survivor Claire Rumore about the often-overlooked intimacy challenges that come with cancer diagnosis and treatment. Claire shares how cancer may reshape desire, body image, and relationship dynamics—and why clinical care frequently misses these impacts. They explore practical approaches like redefining intimacy beyond intercourse, using nervous system regulation and consent-based touch to rebuild safety, and the Erotic Blueprints framework for understanding desire. Claire also introduces resources from her site cancerandintimacy.com designed to support patients, survivors, and their partners through this deeply personal aspect of cancer care.

Dr. Kaczor speaks with Dr. Chad Levitt, a board-certified radiation oncologist with over 25 years of experience and founder of ONCARE MD. Levitt discusses how patients are, in effect, consumers of a product called "medical care." As consumers, they are in charge and must navigate the often fragmented healthcare landscape. He talks about the need to have your questions answered fully, to seek second opinions, and to ensure that your care team communicates clearly. The discussion covers what fully informed consent looks like, the limits of the NCCN guidelines, and the need for integrative oncology (including nutrition, stress, and supportive care). His company, OncCareMD, provides unbiased, membership-based advice for optimal treatments with frequent touch points to ensure treatment goes smoothly.

Writer, humorist, previvor, survivor, and breast cancer prevention advocate Gila Pfeffer joins Leah for a thoughtful, funny, and deeply honest conversation about loss, resilience, and finding humor in the most unlikely situations.
Gila talks about her memoir, Nearly Departed: Adventures in Loss, Cancer, and Other Inconveniences, how humor can be a survival tool during cancer treatment, and her cheeky Feel It on the First campaign that raises awareness of breast cancer screenings and risk reduction. Gila shares her experiences from undergoing a risk-reducing double mastectomy as a BRCA+ previvor to becoming a cancer survivor who is a powerful voice in breast cancer awareness.

In 2022, Jeff Stewart was preparing to donate a kidney when his life took a completely different turn. Unknown to him at the time, he was harboring two separate cancers—kidney and stomach. As a former Jeopardy champ, long-time molecular biologist, and inventor, it’s no surprise that Jeff instinctively framed his relationship with cancer as a complex puzzle that needed solving. In this heartfelt interview with Dr. Sherman, Jeff shares the insights he has gained over the years. He also discusses his published memoir, Living: Inspiration from a Father with Cancer. Written with his seven children in mind, Living offers advice and inspiration for everyone, regardless of age. He also touches on his love of writing itself, having just completed his upcoming young adult fantasy book, Angel Chloe and the Wall of Stone and Bone. Jeff passed away in August 2025, yet his wisdom, humor, and legacy live on to inspire us, just as he intended.

What if something as simple as a morning versus an afternoon infusion determined whether your immune treatment works? A recent study of over 1600 patients shows that time of day can profoundly affect whether you derive benefit (ie, “respond to treatment”)! This episode also explores how time-restricted eating can affect your fatigue (called “chrono-nutrition”) during and after treatment. Join Drs. Tina Kaczor and Leah Sherman as they bring you the latest evidence and tell you how you can use your own circadian rhythm to your advantage.

In this episode, Dr. Tina Kaczor and Dr. Leah Sherman discuss notorious cancer fakers Belle Gibson (Apple Cider Vinegar), Amanda Riley (Scamanda), and Elizabeth Finch (Anatomy of Lies). Each one created elaborate schemes that often duped even their loved ones. The hosts examine the psychological aspects behind such behavior, revealing how these individuals exploited vulnerable people’s emotions and trust. They also discuss distinguishing between factual integrative cancer care (Hello! That’s us!) and harmful misinformation (like the fakers here, for example). The episode emphasizes the need for critical evaluation of health claims, especially in the age of social media.

There are many cancer-relevant headlines, and Tina and Leah cherry-picked a few you need to hear. Is using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help you determine a treatment plan a good idea? You can get answers from ChatGPT, but are they reliable? There are a few considerations, like source verification, addressing ethical considerations, and who you should (and should not trust to handle your medical information. Tina and Leah also discuss a recent study that found benzene in a third of available acne creams! Benzene is a well-known carcinogen. They also talk about the possible link between oral bacteria and head and neck cancers as they quote (and question) the party line regarding proper oral hygiene. Move over "sitting" there's a "new smoking" in town. In this episode, Tina and Leah discuss the latest data on pesticides and cancer risk. One recent study showed the numbers look just as bad (and yes, society's denial of them just as strong) as the data on smoking and cancer risk from decades ago. The doctors share practical tips for minimizing exposure and suggest ways to minimize the effects of pesticide exposures that are nearly inevitable. Hey, we know this topic can be a bummer and a major inconvenience. That said, it's best to know the data to make healthy decisions for yourself. Societal changes may be slow, but there is plenty you can do while we wait for our society to make necessary changes for a less toxic world in general. Join us, we promise not to bum you out!

We've all heard that "the dose makes the poison." Nowhere is this a more apt saying than with nutmeg. Hey, don't get us wrong, just a wee bit of nutmeg can help you tolerate some of those holiday food indulgences! Nutmeg is warming, has anti-parasite and pain-relieving properties, and can be used topically for pain relief. Join us as we touch on some history and give you our takes on nutmeg: the spice, the medicine, the poison. Oh, and go ahead and share this episode with someone who would enjoy it! Maybe a friend who's a chef or a baker?
Did you know that nutmeg was a commodity so precious it was traded for Manhattan? From serving as a sleep aid (insomniacs chickens?) to its pain-relieving effects, nutmeg has lots of potential as a medicinal spice. Just remember, while nutmeg may enhance your holiday season, moderation is key, and it's always advisable to consult a professional before using higher doses of nutmeg as medicine.

Magnesium deficiency is incredibly common. No need for this, though. There are simple labs to run. You can also fix a deficiency with food and supplements. Did you know blood levels of B12 are likely to be high in those with cancer? Is this harmful? What about B12 deficiency? What should you look for? Tina & Leah talk about the “Goldilocks” vitamin, B12. And why you shouldn’t just take it willy-nilly.
Cobalamin (B12) is a nutrient that can often be deficient, especially in vegans/vegetarians, anyone with chronic GI issues, and even simple aging leads to lower levels. On the flip side, those with solid tumors tend to have higher levels circulating in their blood. What’s it about? How do you navigate this? Tune in to find out!

Melatonin is a popular supplement in cancer care. Tina & Leah review the many uses of melatonin and tackle some controversies around this powerful hormone. Join us as they chat, like only two naturopathic docs can.
Did you know melatonin was first discovered in 1958? That’s a long time ago! Amazingly, research is still uncovering new ways melatonin affects the body. We know it sets our circadian clocks, influences immune cells and acts as an antioxidant inside cells.
But like so many natural agents, there are some cautionary tales, too. Tina & Leah explain melatonin: when you should take it, when you should not, and what doses are safe and effective.

In this episode, Tina & Leah discuss how you can reliably reduce your risk of cancer occurrence, recurrence, or improve your odds if you currently have cancer. They pick up where they left off in Episode 47, talking about The Cancer Conflict, a 2022 documentary directed by Thomas Meadmore that follows two separate people, each with newly diagnosed cancer. One chooses to use conventional treatments, adding some cutting-edge therapies from Germany. The other chooses to pursue alternative treatments only. The challenges each of them faces are universal. This film is the inspiration to discuss what you can do to help yourself, reliably.
You don’t need to see the film to get a whole lot of useful information from this episode. Tina & Leah tell you about the foundations of health, the use of anecdotal evidence, and some hazards to being your own advocate throughout your treatment planning.

How do you choose your treatment? Conventional? Alternative? A combination of both (integrative)? Listen in as Tina & Leah discuss some do’s and don’ts of decision making that you need to know.
A film called The Cancer Conflict juxtaposed two newly diagnosed patients and followed each one as they went through their cancer treatments. One person started with conventional, the other one went with alternative medicine. This film inspired our discussion about how people make such decisions and how to strike a balance between controlling your own care and submitting to recommendations by “experts.”

Dr. Mary Barnhart is a former dietitian and retired breast surgeon. From the idea of spreading tumors with biopsies (true or false?) to who gets to pick the music in the OR, Tina & Leah ask some tough questions in this one.
Ultimately, you are in control of your healthcare decisions, and Dr. Barnhart discusses how she balanced medical advise with patient autonomy in her own practice. She may have retired from surgery, but she still advocates for those who have been affected by cancer. A cancer survivor herself, she knows all too well what it’s like to be the patient.

Mushrooms are a valuable food and medicine, but which ones are best? Are they safe during treatment for cancer? What’s the proper dose? Do they really affect immune function? Tina & Leah discuss all of this and more from a practical- and as always-naturopathic perspective.
The use of mushrooms dates back thousands of years. As a food, mushrooms add nutrients like vitamin D, B vitamins and even protein to your diet. As a medicine, all mushrooms contain components that help support proper immune system balance.
In addition, each mushroom (shitake, reishi, turkey tail, cordyceps, lion’s mane, maitake, and even button!) has its own action on the body that help support energy production, brain health, lung/ kidney function, etc, etc.
In this episode, Tina & Leah discuss the do’s and the don’ts when using mushrooms during and after treatment for cancer. Tune in, we guarantee you’ll hear something useful. Or your money back!

L-glutamine is a "conditionally essential" amino acid. What's that? Tune in & find out: what glutamine is, what it does, and when you shouldn't be taking it. Tina & Leah discuss generalities and then delve into specifics, particularly for those who have (or had!) cancer.
Glutamine is one of those supplements that many people take…. willy-nilly. That’s a bad idea. There is a time and a place for glutamine supplementation. Listen in to find out more.
Why is glutamine so tricky to use as a supplement:
1-Fact: Glutamine can lessen peripheral neuropathy when taken alongside certain chemo drugs.
2- Fact: Cancers often have a high appetite for glutamine and use it as fuel o grow (proliferate).
As always, Tina & Leah speak from experience and stick to the data. (All while introducing you to oddities like “meat sweats.”)

Nerve damage from chemotherapy can lead to lingering effects after treatment. There are several natural agents that can help. But, some can actually make it worse too! Listen in while Tina & Leah discuss how to prevent chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and what to (safely) do if you already have it.
Chemotherapy drugs are designed to be toxic to cancer cells but sometimes they are also toxic to your nervous system. This can have long-term consequences. Take heart, there are ways to lessen the risk during treatment. There are also ways to improve peripheral neuropathy symptoms after treatment. Can anything really be a “cure-all?” What a concept! There are things this 100-year-old herbal formula can do, and there are things it can't. Tina & Leah chat facts about Essiac & Flor-Essence teas.
Herbal medicine, plant medicine, botanical medicine, whatever you like to call it, there’s evidence for its use dating back thousands of years. We love using medicinal plants for ourselves and our patients. The promise of a cure for cancer, however, needs to be looked at closely. Is it possible? Could it be? What do we know about this formula?
Essiac and Flor Essence herbal combos have a lot of anecdotal stories about their use in cancer care. We chat about the plants in these formulas, touch on the history of the formula, and give your our honest opinion on what you should expect.

The terms “antioxidants” and “free radicals”- what do they mean exactly? Are antioxidants safe to take as a supplement? Tina & Leah tell you the truth, even if it is inconvenient. (Don’t blame the messengers!)
Antioxidants only do good, right? The theory is that antioxidants prevent cancer by limiting damage in and around our cells. Truth: Foods high in antioxidant compounds are associated with less cancer (think plants!). BUT, does this mean that antioxidant supplements are a good idea? The truth is in the data.
Another pressing question: “Are antioxidants safe during & after treatment for cancer?” This gets tricky. What prevents cancer is not always a good idea after it has been diagnosed. Radiation, and some chemotherapies, actually use oxidation as their means to kill cancer cells. Can antioxidants from food interfere? Can antioxidant supplements interfere? We discuss this in detail.
This is the second installment in our “Truth About…” pod. The idea of this series is to tackle a few topics where marketing messaging is flooding the scene, where misinformation abounds, and where we think people could be doing themselves harm with that not-so-discerning doctor, Dr. Google.

Ketogenic diets are all the rage these days, but what is ketosis? Should you try to achieve it? If so, how? Tina & Leah talk facts about the ketogenic diet, what it is and what it isn’t.
What does it mean to be in a state of ketosis? And, most importantly, does the ketogenic diet have anti-cancer effects?
There are studies out there on the ketogenic diet in people with cancer, and we stick close to the data in these studies. There is plenty of theory around why a ketogenic diet should be useful (and we love a good hypothetical), but the ketogenic diet is not to be taken lightly. There are even some cancers where it should be avoided completely.
Join Tina & Leah as they discuss the details of the ketogenic diet for cancer.

Vitamin C: so simple, so necessary... but what is it used for exactly? And what does deficiency look like? Is vitamin C deficiency linked to cancer incidence? Recurrence? Are there times when it should not be taken? Tina & Leah answer all of these questions and more!
Vitamin C is vital to the production of collagen, immune cells, and energy from fats in our diet, to name just a few of its actions. Sometimes called ascorbic acid or ascorbate, vitamin C is a nutrient that you can get from various fruits and veggies. In this episode, we talk about scurvy, high school science experiments, and how vitamin C is both an antioxidant and the opposite of this, a pro-oxidant. We also cover the role of vitamin C before, during, and after cancer diagnosis.
So, can you take vitamin C if you are getting chemotherapy or radiation? Tina & Leah tackle the topic head-on with a discussion of when this nutrient is proven to be detrimental, when it is safe and when some caution is needed (i.e., "talk to your doctor!").

What exactly is collagen? Does it really support skin and joints? And, most pressing: IS IT SAFE to take (in general? if you've had cancer?) Tina and Leah answer all of this and more as they discuss one of the most popular functional foods available today.
Did you know there are at least 28 different types of collagen in the human body? It is by far the most abundant protein in humans, accounting for about 30% of the total protein content in the body.
Collagen is a "scaffolding" protein because it has an integral role in the structure of organs and tissues. But, in cancer care, this gets tricky. Tumors also have collagen as part of their make-up. So, is the collagen within tumors friend or foe? Should you be supporting its production or not?
Listen in as Tina and Leah use the latest findings to discuss the risks and benefits of collagen from foods and supplements.

Vitamin D may be the most pivotal nutrient in all of cancer care. Tina and Leah talk about this hormone masquerading as a “vitamin.” How much is ideal? Do you need to take it? Can you get what you need from the sun? Is it even safe to take?
There is a tremendous amount of information on vitamin D and cancer, so there is a lot to sift through to figure out what is well-founded and what is hype. Tina and Leah discuss the data, their experiences with patients, and how you can optimize your levels. They also discuss some safety concerns since this is one of the few vitamins that can lead to fatality if consumed in toxic amounts.
As always, you will be entertained and educated. May you derive enough valuable information to feel compelled to share this and help others. Sharing is caring. :)

In this episode of Side Eff@¢ks, Tina and Leah talk about poo that just won’t quit—diarrhea. No matter what the cause, this episode offers tips and advice about what you can do to normalize your bowel function.
Nearly every cancer treatment will affect bowel function, so diarrhea is not uncommon. Whether it is chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, immunological, or biological (targeted) therapy (or a combination!) the gut is most likely to be affected. Since rapidly dividing cells line the gastrointestinal tract, the result is often (although not always) loose stool/ diarrhea.
How about after treatment is over?
Having unpredictable/excessive bowel movements can be life-altering, and eventually affect your overall health too.
Tina and Leah talk about how to sleuth the cause of loose stool. Then, as always, they give you some ideas of how to go about addressing the various causes. (A review of digestive processes and an intro to this topic was done in the first podcast of this series: Bowel Changes.)

Do you have issues with constipation? If so, today is your lucky day!
This podcast is all about the sticky business of stuck bowels. In our first episode of The Return of Side Eff@¢ks, we covered the basics of bowel function and touched on possible bowel issues encountered during treatment.
In this episode, Tina and Leah talk about constipation from a naturopathic perspective. Whether during treatment or long after treatment has been completed, constipation can hamper your health. Since the movement of your bowels is a functional issue, and these docs have had more conversations about poo than most people, there is bound to be some info in here that's new to you.

Cancer treatments can be rough on the gut. The symptoms during and after treatment are no laughing matter (although well-timed potty humor can certainly be therapeutic, don't you think?).
In this episode, Tina and Leah talk poop, that is, about the fundamentals of bowel function with an emphasis on the many ways that cancer treatments can interfere with it.
As naturopathic physicians, Tina and Leah have spent their entire careers talking poop with patients. Why? Because most gut issues have to do with bowel function. Understanding the functions of the various organs involved in your digestion can help you address—and resolve— uncomfortable and unpleasant poop issues.

Supplement use during and after cancer treatment is common. But do you really need to take supplements? How do you even begin to prioritize what (if any) supplements are right for you?
As naturopathic doctors, Tina and Leah talk about supplements all the time. In this episode, they open up about how they approach their use. Instead of saying, "must do this or that," they talk about how you can prioritize supplements.
And yes, they talk about times when supplements may not be appropriate too. As Kenny Rogers famously put it, "you gotta know when to hold 'em."

It’s a new episode of The Cancer Pod podcast and we’re still at the movies. This week we discuss In Defense of Food, a 2015 documentary that tries to answer the question, what can I eat to eat healthy?
The documentary is based on a 2008 book by Michael Pollan, who also has written other best-sellers like The Omnivore’s Dilemma and The Botany of Desire.
Click here for the Unofficial Theme Song for this pod. It’s the song that’s played over the final credits in What the Health (E17 At the Movies), and, in our opinion, it was the best part of that shockumentary.

Chemo brain, brain farts, brain fog, cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI)… no matter what you call it, it is a debilitating side effect that may persist for months or years after treatment ends. CRCI is more than just forgetting why you walked into a room or where you left your keys. You may find yourself struggling to remember a simple word or having a hard time concentrating on a single subject and don’t even mention multitasking!
In this last episode of the year, Dr. Tina Kaczor and Dr. Leah Sherman review the possible causes of CRCI and discuss ways that you can improve brain function. Neural plasticity, which is the ability to create new neural networks at ANY AGE, means that you have the potential for bettering brain function no matter what age you are. As always, you’ll learn a little, laugh a little, and by the end you will have ideas of how to optimize your own health. Thanks for listening!

Want to learn all about bone health? Then this is the episode for you! How does bone degrade? Who should be most concerned? How can you build bone? Are there certain nutritional supplements that can help?
Fracture risk increases with age as our bones thin, but throw some cancer treatment into the mix and bone thinning can happen sooner and more rapidly (up to seven times faster following cancer treatments, according to ASCO). Loss of bone mineral density (known as osteopenia or osteoporosis) increases fracture risk. This is not only true for older cancer patients but young ones too. And bone loss may be late-onset, not showing up until decades following treatment. That means adult survivors of childhood cancers are at a higher risk.
In Episode 15 of The Cancer Pod, Tina and Leah discuss bone density, risk factors for osteopenia and osteoporosis, and how you can prevent bone loss and reduce the risk of fractures. Tune in and share this episode with anyone you think is at risk of bone loss (it's not just for cancer survivors... aging itself is a risk factor).

Cancer-related fatigue (CrF) is common, both during treatment for cancer and afterward. Studies show up to 30% of cancer survivors experience fatigue for years following diagnosis. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill not getting a good night’s sleep or overdoing it at the gym fatigue. CrF is its own entity. It’s not relieved by sleep or rest and can be distressing, even life-altering. In this episode, Tina and Leah review the official contributing factors to CrF, and a few causes that aren’t found on the official list. Understanding how the adrenal glands are involved in CrF is essential, and they explain how the adrenals help you maintain energy. As always, at The Cancer Pod, we talk specifics about what you can do to improve your day-to-day. Fatigue is not something you have to live with!

What is genetic testing and is it appropriate for you? How do you talk to your doctor about getting tested? Tina and Leah cover what you need to know in this episode of The Cancer Pod.
Hereditary cancers happen, but what are the chances? It is estimated that 10% of all cancers are due to genes we inherited from our parents. Yet, certain mutations can lead to personal risk of up to 80%. (We don't dwell on statistics, so no worries there.)
Knowing whether there is familial hereditary cancer syndrome can influence decision-making for the person with cancer and their family. In this podcast, we discuss who, why and how the testing for hereditary cancer syndromes should be approached. Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Syndrome, where the BRCA genes are involved, may be the most commonly known, but there are many others to look for including Lynch syndrome, Li Fraumeni syndrome, and Cowden syndrome.
We round out this episode with our unofficial theme song and a different kind of Moment of Woo.

Doctors' appointments can be overwhelming, especially after a cancer diagnosis. There are so many questions to ask even before walking into the office, and then once a treatment plan is presented there are even more questions.
On the latest episode of The Cancer Pod, Tina and Leah review some of the questions to bring up at an oncology appointment and offer some tips to help patients, both newly diagnosed and seasoned veterans, about what to bring to appointments. They even delve into the topic of what to do if you don't like your doctor or what happens if your doctor leaves you.

It's the first pod inspired by our listeners' requests! Talk to Your Doctor is a series of episodes about, well, how to talk to your doctor! Whether it's about integrative medicine or questions you might not have thought of, we'll try and cover it in this pod.
In the first episode of this series, we answer the question "how do I ask my doctor about integrative medicine?" According to the National Institute for Health, integrative oncology is a patient-centered, evidence-informed field that utilizes mind-body practices, lifestyle modifications, and/or natural products interwoven with conventional cancer treatment. It prioritizes safety and best available evidence to offer appropriate interventions alongside conventional care. That's literally their definition.
Patients are often reluctant to talk to their doctors about using therapies that might be outside of standard of care, and doctors don't always know how to advise their patients on the use of these therapies. As more patients are becoming aware of the potential benefits of these treatments, keeping an open dialog with their providers is key.
Talk to YOUR doctor if you think integrative medicine is for you.

Sleep disturbances may affect 40% of cancer survivors up to five years post treatment. In Episode 9 of Side Eff#%ks pod, Tina and Leah covered the causes of sleep disturbances and sleep hygiene, and now in Episode 10, they review integrative approaches to sleep management, including herbs and supplements that address anxiety and pain, which often contribute to insomnia. They also discuss cortisol’s association with waking up in the middle of the night. And since this is the last episode of this four-part pod (a first!), they introduce a Moment of Woo!

Good quality sleep is always important, but it becomes especially precious following a cancer diagnosis. A good night's sleep supports our immune system, our mood, and so much more. It helps our body and mind heal. Anxiety, depression, and pain are only a few common causes of sleep disruption. In the first of this two-part episode, Tina and Leah talk about sleep disturbances, sleep hygiene, and some basic approaches to managing insomnia.

We're continuing with our theme of things that make our life miserable...I mean side effects from cancer treatment. Mouth sores and taste changes can greatly affect quality of life when going through treatment for cancer. Tina and Leah discuss causes and both pharmaceutical and integrative approaches to managing these side effects.

It's here! The first in what we hope to be many episodes on cancer treatment-related side effects. The most common questions we get have to do with integrative oncology approaches to managing common, and not so common, side effects when patients go through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. (Immunotherapy and targeted therapies are included whenever we say "chemo.")
We kick off this first pod with our nausea and vomiting episode. We cover a number of causes for nausea and vomiting, how different medicines work, and of course, our favorite integrative medicine approaches.
Talking about puking might trigger some folks, so there's a content warning at the beginning of this podcast. We must say the word "vomit" like a gazillion times. Oh, and I for sure though we were going to earn an Explicit on this episode but we decided to censor it and keep it clean for the kids.

Alcohol might be a solution, but it won't solve your problems. Okay, cheesy chemistry jokes aside, alcohol is always in the news. One day we read alcohol is going to save us from heart disease, the next day we're reading for every drink over the recommended limit, someone is going to take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes off of our lives (yes, this was an actual study a few years ago in The Lancet). So, who do we believe? Tina and Leah conquer this very intoxicating subject on this episode of The Cancer Pod. Look for us on Pinterest to find links to some of the things we mention on our shows.
