Our foundation has developed this podcast to promote discussion, create new ideas, and inspire action aimed at fulfilling our mission. We hope this podcast helps us all to explore ideas, to learn from the past, and create dialog that may help keep our school communities safe. To keep our school communities as a place to learn and grow and become better.We will hear from educators, psychologists, social workers, law enforcement, manufacturers, legislators, victims of school violence, as well as other organizations dedicated to the safety of our school communities.We all must become part of the solution.

Our discussion today is with LifeAct a Non Profit Organization whose mission is to prevent teen suicide by educating youth to recognize depression and the warning signs of suicide and access help for themselves and their peers. LifeAct CEO Jack Binder and Program Director Vicki Jeromos  explain the programs LifeAct has for High School and Middle Schools, the resources available for teachers and students, and how their work impacts the communities they serve.
