Since the 7th October Hamas atrocities, Shabbos has been embroiled in a long public battle with Harvard, which has resulted in him suing them for failing to combat antisemitism, describing the school as “a bastion of rampant anti-Jewish hatred and harassment”.
In this episode, Shabbos discusses his decision to take legal action against Harvard and the personal threats to his safety following 7th October.

Eylon Keshet is the cousin of Yarden Bibas who, along with baby Kfir, his five-year-old brother Ariel, and their mother Shiri, were kidnapped and taken as hostages to Gaza by Hamas terrorists on 7th October. The Bibas family lived on the Nir Oz kibbutz, close to Gaza, where a quarter of the community were killed, kidnapped or injured in the 7th October attacks.

Reverend Canon Nigel Biggar is a historian, theologian and ethicist currently serving as Regius Professor Emeritus of Moral Theology at the University of Oxford. Nahal Oz sits just 800 metres from the Gaza border and was one of the first targets in the early hours of the Hamas terrorist attacks that took place on 7th October. Zoom Rockman is a 23-year-old award-winning political cartoonist, illustrator, and puppet animator. At the age of twelve, Zoom became the youngest cartoonist in history to work for The Beano, with his monthly comic strip, ‘Skanky Pigeon’. This ran for four years until he left at age sixteen to become a regular contributor at Private Eye Magazine. For his cartoon on the subject of antisemitism, he was one of the winners at the Political Cartoon Awards 2023.

In addition to delivering lectures at seminars, university campuses and city firms in the UK and abroad, he has, over the last two decades, run more than 250 heritage tours in Europe to destinations such as Krakow and Auschwitz, Prague, Paris, Amsterdam and Budapest, and since 2003 has specialised in Holocaust education, working with the Imperial War Museum and Yad Vashem. He is also one of the regular voices on the “History for the Curious” podcast, which looks at historical events, people and movements, with several episodes covering the Nazis and the Holocaust.

Ruth Posner BEM is a Polish-born British Holocaust survivor who, along with the rest of her family, was forced into the Warsaw Ghetto. While the rest of her family was murdered in the Treblinka extermination camp, Ruth and her aunt managed to escape the Ghetto and survived the War in hiding. She has since led a remarkable life, with a successful career as a dancer and actress. Additionally, Ruth is also one of the models in our national billboard campaign to raise awareness of antisemitism, a first-of-its-kind for Britain. She was awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year Honours for 2022 for her work educating about the Holocaust.
