MARKEL STARKS is a professional basketball player in Turkey representing the city of Izmir. I first met Markel as an 8th grader at Mater Dei School and he impressed me form the jump. He went on to Georgetown Prep and then to Georgetown U -- where he captained the team and racked up accolades -- and for the last 10 years Markel has been living his dream of playing professional basketball. Beyond the hard court, Markel has a one-of-a-kind joie de vivre that he infects, quite literally, the world over. Markel recently got inducted into the Prep Hall Of Fame -- congrats!

SUNBACK has forever been synomous with Christmas! Early 20th century, Mr. Eric Sunback’s father had an affinity for the Christmas tree because it reminded him of his native Sweden. In 1956 young Eric sold his first tree for 25 cents, and from then on Sunback’s life has been all Christmas trees — going on to establishing two premier Christmas tree lots in the Washington DC area!
If you’re any kind of Washingtonian, there’s Sunback, and there’s all the rest. Never choose the rest when you’ve got the best!
Dan Taylor and Brian Holler worked with Sunback since high school, and in 1996 Sunback helped Dan & Bryan start their own tree farm. And kinda the rest is history.
RIP, MR. ERIC SUNBACK, and thank you for bringing Christmas joy to countless Washingtonians. Cheers to a mighty life well lived to the ripe age of 94 years young — there must be something in the tree sap!
If you want the best at DAN AND BRYANS — you better get your December duff out there because their trees are going like hotcakes to all the beautiful and happy families and they’re sure to be all gone by weekend’s end!

The mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is to ensure the safety and health of American communities by combating criminal drug networks bringing harm, violence, overdoses, and poisonings to the United States. To accomplish this mission, the DEA employs approximately 10,000 personnel throughout the world – Special Agents, Diversion Investigators, Intelligence Analysts, Chemists, and professional staff – across 241 domestic offices in 23 Divisions and 93 foreign offices across the globe.
Jack McFarland is a Supervisory Special Agent (Retired) of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Jack’s career with the DEA spanned 32 years – taking him from the coal country of Pennsylvania to streets of Allentown and Philadelphia – and then on to Quantico where he trained agents in “tactics,” down to Caribbean where he lead teams of agents in the belly of the beast of the drug trade of the Americas, then back to the home to the mean streets of Baltimore, and finally onto to numerous assignments at HeadQuarters in Washington.
In order to stop the bad guys you have to go to the source – and that’s what Jack spent his life doing – and even now as a “retired” agent his passion for his mission and craft could not be more keen. Too bad Uncle Sam makes agents step away from duty at 57 years of age – or else Jack would still be on the beat and beating the bad customers – all to protect the freedom and security of the American way of life. It is because of the work of Jack and his guys and gals that we as Americans have come to expect the life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness of this beautiful nation. Sean’s older brother, Bryan, passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age 26. Bryan was the energy, light, joy, friend to so many. Sean has since picked up the football to run with it – honoring Bryan in everything he does – coaching, relationships, life, and THE BRYAN 11 FOUNDATION. Over the course of 2 years the Strittmatters have generated enough support and love to help 11 high schoolers down the pathway of life. This is a remarkable testament to the love that Bryan generated in his brief time here on earth.

Courtney Stecker – Battens Disease – #157
Wheeler is the beautiful boy of Judy and Courtney Stecker. Unfortunately, Wheeler was born with a genetic anomaly that affects the development and functioning of his brain — fortunately Wheeler is a warrior and the Steckers have all the determination and love to help Weller’s brain get better.
Wheeler has Battens disease — an extremely rare genetic condition for which there is no cure — YET! Symptoms manifest at a young age and the chances of living past teens can be slim, and right now there are only 500 known cases of Battens in the US — but there is hope in research and there is hope in medicine. In just the short span of Wheeler’s life, the first ever treatment to combat Battens has been developed. With science, hope, and love anything is possible — that’s how Wheeler rolls; that’s how the Steckers roll — and money helps too!

Timmy Connolly came to me by way of my beautiful sister Linda and East Carolina – and ever since, we’ve been kindred spirits. Last year on this day, November 2, Timmy’s mother died from Glioblastoma – a cruel and aggressive form of brain cancer. Broadly brain cancer is under-funded – so to honor his mother and to help solve the stupid problem of cancer, last month Timmy hiked the Grand Canyon as a member of the 3000 Miles To A Cure team – 26 miles, 10,141 feet of altitude change – one day – from the north rim to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. In their own words:
It is a powerful metaphor for the race to end brain cancer. The canyon represents the valley of death of underfunded research. We know that funding brain tumor research will change the future for those diagnosed with brain cancer and that if money is the problem, it’s a problem that can be solved. Together, we can do this.
Timmy – it is always a treat to be with you – and especially outside by the fire, smoking cigar, lots of laughs, and remembering your beautiful mom who is looking down with the hope that each conversation and trek will move us closer and closer to erasing the scourge of cancer from the face of the planet.

Elvis died on Wednesday. Tuesday night was a rough night, but not all that strange – Elvis had to get up a couple of times to go to the bathroom – but at 77 – that’s what old dogs do. Wednesday morning came early. I help Elvis downstairs, make a coffee, and sit at my desk to feverishly work to fill some void that I fell inside – it was one of those days with one of those feelings that cannot be fulfilled – maybe it was a premonition. I feed Elvis, shower, and as I dash out the door, I notice that Elvis had not yet devoured his breakfast – rather he’s sitting in front of it and staring – definitely strange! I go to 8:30 mass and head to get fingerprinted for a teaching assignment, but audible to come back home and check on Elvis. I arrive and Elvis is in my office, and when I call him, he comes like a good boy, but his front legs wobble as he staggers to me – remembering that makes me sad. Dom Starsia has loved lacrosse ever since he first held a lacrosse stick -- and the sentiment is mutual.
Coach Starsia was recruited to Brown University to play football, but when he touched his first lacrosse stick as a freshman he felt something special. Two years later Coach gave up football to devout more time to his first love — lacrosse.
Flash forward past wins, loses, championships — Coach Starsia lives in Charlottesville and coaches the Blue Ridge Barons — they are 0-2 and getting better — and when he can, in his 70’s, Coach still plays lacrosse. There is no better ambassador of the game than Dom Starsia — and you can hear it in his voice.

With a name like HannaH 🍌 Cherry 🍒 — come on, ya gotta eat lots of fruit, and what is more Hannah made the lifestyle choice 7 years ago to not only love all the fruit, but to love all the animals too — by not eating them. Formally known as Joe LaPietra, COACH LALA recently gave birth to Mastery Of The Mind (MOM) -- an educational model to teach student athletes life skills and educational tolls to use beyond athletics.I have known Coach for a long time -- going back to my early teaching days at Mater Dei School and his son Joey -- who now is employed by dad to help with the digital/social media infrastructure of MOM Universe!
After a robustly successful career in finance -- including leading New York Life's DC branch (the second largest of NYL in the country), Joe was traded for Coach when he decided to start MOM at the beginning of this year. Since, MOM has taken off like wildfire -- with over-night success at St. John's and DeMatha -- and the horizon could not look any brighter. Coach might have to get in the cloning business to keep up with all the biz!

SUNBACK has forever been synomous with Christmas! Early 20th century, Mr. Eric Sunback’s father had an affinity for the Christmas tree because it reminded him of his native Sweden. In 1956 young Eric sold his first tree for 25 cents, and from then on Sunback’s life has been all Christmas trees — going on to establishing two premier Christmas tree lots in the Washington DC area!
If you’re any kind of Washingtonian, there’s Sunback, and there’s all the rest. Never choose the rest when you’ve got the best!
Dan Taylor and Brian Holler worked with Sunback since high school, and in 1996 Sunback helped Dan & Bryan start their own tree farm. And kinda the rest is history.
RIP, MR. ERIC SUNBACK, and thank you for bringing Christmas joy to countless Washingtonians. Cheers to a mighty life well lived to the ripe age of 94 years young — there must be something in the tree sap!

NICK MCEVOY went to Mater Dei, Gonzaga, and Penn State -- where he was a lacrosse star and stud on and off the field. It was in the Nittany State at Happy Valley where he was turned on to THON -- a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer.Nick with be squaring off in a boxing match to raise money so that hopefully, with the help of people like Nick, cancer can be forever KO'd -- and no longer the scourge of so families. CONNIE KEMPER is a longtime friend of mine (and also a longtime fan of the podcast), and in January, pulled the big trigger and made the big leap o'er continent and 'cross ocean to the island paradise of Hawaii. However, it has not been all rainbows and surf breaks.

Bob Kemp was a great man of family, faith, athletics -- just to name a few! Unfortunately this great man's life -- like too many -- was cut short way too soon. Fortunate for us, however, Bob left a legacy of love in his wake.
Since Bob's passing in 2014 -- CJ, his six siblings, and his mom have orchestrated the premier fall-ball lacrosse experience at our alma mater -- Georgetown Prep. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9 will see Harvard v UNC in a 5 quarters of elite NCAA lacrosse. Timmy and Dan "CAPT. UNDERPANT" Bernardi won the 17th annual Salty Dog Classic in a big kinda way. Not just because they are both large and have eerily similar body frames -- but because they played remarkable team golf -- ham & egg, yin & yang, ding & dong -- you pick (I am going with ding-dong) -- however at the end of 18 holes they bested 41 of the Bethany's best!
Congratulations, Tim & Dan -- you two are worthy champions and cheers to a lifetime of friendship (you two should exchange numbers -- wait, this already happened at the SALTY DOG CLASSIC)

MAZ loved everyone and everyone loved MAZ. Some people just have a way about them -- the world and life seems to come easy -- and I'd venture to say this is largely because MAZ was in a total, beautiful harmony with the universe -- doing exactly what he was placed on this marbled rock to do -- teach, mentor, inspire the next generation of young men and women.

MAZ was taken from us at too young of age (but who am I to say); however, what is certain is that MAZ is missed tremendously. When such a force for good to taken, a gulf is left in the wake. Alas, time marches on, but not without keeping a little (or a lot) of this the MAZ MAGIC about us -- to remember the MAZ's magic, is to become a little magical ourselves!
At Georgetown Prep, where MAZ taught for much of his career, there will be forever enshrined The Steven A. Maczynski Lecture Hall where young men and women will convene to dialogue on the high ideals of peace & global stewardship -- all-the-while listening to lectures that tickle the brain and concerts that fire the heart. At a time when we crave for love, levity, and true passion -- the time is NOW, and we need your help to make this beautiful dream and reality.
Ms. Rosita Whitman and MAZ were kindred spirts and worked hand-in-hand to elevate, levitate Prep's international community. These two human gems are a large reason why Prep's resident community is sought after the world-around and impacts back the world at large! It was a true treat to sit down with Rosita at Prep, above the South Room, and in the hollowed library of the Jesuits for a touching, lively, loving, fun conversation -- the only thing that was missing was MAZ, yet we trust that he is smiling down that big MAZ grin (no doubt having more fun than us!)!

Emma Jane Goodman is an incredible artist. This is US Open Week and with all this talk about the LIV Tour, Bob Dolan and I talked nothing about it and all about the golf of this country and arguably the biggest tourney on our soil -- THE US OPEN. Also Bob is about half-way through his last year as club professional at Columbia Country Club. William Seamus Hughes passed away from Pediatric Glioblastoma. The Willie Hughes Foundation is determined to make sure this does not happen again to any other other boys and girls. Pediatric Glioblastoma is underfunded -- this is how we fund it and end it!!!

Fritz Brogan went to Georgetown University, played football, studied political, law, and business — and has never left since — rather I should say Fritz has never stopped since opening his first restaurant — Gin & Tonic. Kate Snedeker’s father was diagnosed with GLIOBLASTOMA about this time last year. Kate is a college sophomore and in the fall and with her father undergoing cancer treatment, Kate put love into action and started GRAY FOR GLIOBLASTOMA FUND — which is recently= gained non-profit status, and whose end goal is to raise money and awareness so that Glioblastoma is put to an end. In the words of Kate from the GFGF WEBSITE:
Glioblastoma Multiform is the most aggressive and deadly type of brain cancer. The cause of Glioblastoma is unknown and there is no known me those to prevent the cancer. Since GBM is resistant to conventional therapies, treatment usually involves surgery, after which chemotherapy and radiation therapy is used. Jack Rolle was a student at Mater Dei when he got diagnosed with cancer. He beat it and has a scar over his right eye as a reminder. Life is precious and Jack got this life lesson at a young age, and since, Jack has followed his heart and is now 23 and is touring the nation and playing the music that he has created and loves. Jack passion is how we are all called to live.

Mackey Chase is a 7th grader at Mater Dei School; I met Mackey as a first grader -- that many years ago. 1st grade PE began, and it did not take long for Brian Danver and I to pick up on Mackey's passion for the Cincinnati Bengals, who at the time and for a longer time had been a punching bag for much of the NFL. Now the Bengals are going to the Super Bowl. Mackey talks about his favorite team and why he has stood by his squad -- from the outhouse to the penthouse.

It went from a balmy December to a frigid January kinda in a snap. As I type from my warm studio and as many may being sipping coffee or coco in comfort, there are many who are shivering. To help alleviate the shivers -- enter THE STAY WARM CHALLENGE! The Stay Warm Challenge is a charitable competition to raise money to form Stay Warm Bundles, which consist of blankets, mittens, hat, coats, etc -- all things that most of us are privileged to have with many others kinda dying for -- kinda literally. The Halls have already purchased what necessitates to 500 bundles which will be assembled when the challenge ends on February 5. Upon conclusion, the bundles are caravanned to shelters to be bestowed to those who are in need. The time is NOW!!

What a treat! It was the highlight of my year to talk with a true gentleman, scholar, coach, kind soul, Coach Rob Bordley. I always heard stories and of the local lacrosse legend, and was at times encouraged to hate him. But I kinda always knew that was weird -- how can you hate love. That is what Rob Bordley is -- love in an intelligent, empathetic, creative, generous, humorous way. I learned a lot from our conversation. Thank you for your time and for being a beacon -- a shining light in the darkness that increasingly seems to be shading our lives.

Christy is friends with the other Kristi who was on the podcast last month and now someone I am happy to call friend. Trey Kraus is the owner that does it all at Carlton’s classic haberdashery in Rehoboth. Trey has held that role for 17 years and it could not have been more ever-present in 2008 when all the markets crashed and now with the mess that COVID has dumped on most all small businesses. Brian was the youngest Salt Pond CC champion at the age of 15 (1999) and won the Kings Creek CC championship in 2003. Brian played on the Hooters tour, was Rush Limbaugh's favorite caddie at Everglades club of Florida and his favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber (yeah -- that's in the podcast too!!). Annette is on the board for the wonderful organization, OSTD, or for long -- Operation Seas The Day -- which helps to make the days of wounded vets by hosting them and their families at the beach for a week. For the week after Labor Day, members of the super generous and patriotic Bethany Beach community volunteer their homes for families affected by war to come and stay and heal and laugh and love with each other and other families down by the seashore.
Unfortunately, COVID has claimed another innocent and beautiful tradition and OSTD will be back in star and stripes and ready to host come summer 2022.
However there are still things to be done, should be done, will be done -- and Saturday, 9/11, will be the day!!! Saturday from 10 - 5 on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk, the town will host their annual art festival and OSTD will be on the bandstand selling lit merch -- that's lingo for beautiful clothing. OSTD will also be hosting a toast and tribute to vets near and far tomorrow (9/11) evening at 7PM complete with a USO tribute band -- creatively named, WWIIunes. I encourage one and all to descend on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk tomorrow for the art by day and the toast and tribute by night. What better way to spend 9/11!!?

In episode 2 of the Paul and Billy show Paul tells his cool story — from Little Flower to Georgetown Prep to Princeton and UPenn — from the east coast to the west coast and then back again. Paul has achieved a lot — and with a lot, a lot has come to be expected — and Paul answers that call. Paul excelled but might not have been able to attend Prep without a scholarship — and the same could be said for Princeton. Because of this, Paul works and gives to make sure that kids today can have similar opportunities that he had when he needed them. What unknown power might lurk in a young man or woman that if only given the opportunity, the world could be made better. Paul believes in this hope and lives this mission.

The Salty Dog will turn 16 tomorrow. At the time, I was 23 years old and Linda 21 years young. We sit back in Studio East to talk memories of the DOG. We tells stories and talk history and charity and the beginnings of the DOG with Poppa G and generations!!! When I say generations I mean that the tourney started with a father & son and that is what has sustained it. It is a beautiful thing to play golf with your father (or mother) and to do it at the beach for charity -- now that is some sandy, sunny, sudsy, silly, surreally, insaney, SALTY fun!!!
ERIC KNAUS is THE GREAT ZUCCHINI and HE IS AWESOME!!! Eric is the number one child entertainer in the DC area and is well known beyond our little bubble. What makes Eric AWESOME is that he has a HUGE heart and a very sharp brain.
I have book that adorn my studio, and I am not talking about those. Eric's brain understands people -- maybe better than anyone I have ever seen -- this is his genius talent. Eric walks into a room of kids and they are instantly happy -- it is an unspoken power. Eric has the rare ability to know that one kid in a sea of kids that needs a little extra attention. Eric quickly administers and the kid is better.
Eric is a big, gregarious bundle of love. And if you have the privilege to be in his presence, you will feel it. Kids most always see truth -- that's the best testament right there!!! Julie is an Olympian!!! Julie represented herself, family, and country in the 2012 Olympics in London. Julie has always loved to dance and that is most likely why rhythmic dance was her Olympic thang!!!
Julie is local and has always been, but before coming back to the Nation's Capital's umbrella, Julie was in California listening to her post-Olympics inner-voice. Julie has been back east for two years and it didn't take much time for Julie's Olympic talent to shine. Philip and I have not had much interaction, but sometimes not much is needed to connect. I have been a gadfly on the St. John's campus ever since graduating from their masters program some 10 years ago. Philip has been a tutor at St. John's College for almost 50 years. He is recently retired, but is still a fixture on campus and this summer finds him leading Summer Classics seminars on the seeds of astronomy and American poetry.
Phil most always wears a yarmulke -- his faith is an important part of Phil's life, but I never knew that he converted from Christianity to Judaism. We talk begin talking about religion and move to Colorado, Oxford, Prague, Germany, Santa Fe, St. John's and then back to religion.
Philip, it was a true treat to sit down with you and talk about what moves you. You are a pillar unto yourself and that is why people see you and feel you as a pillar of community!!!

Bret and I have known each other for 11 years. We met at St. John's College in Santa Fe where he was studying the great thinkers of the ancient East and I was attempting those of the West. Bret still lives in Santa Fe with his beautiful girlfriend, Brittany, and seems more the wiser for it. Santa Fe is beautiful and full of people who are just that with the St. John's community as this epitome.
Bret and I begin (as one always should) with the Lord Of The Rings. Bottom line -- there might not be anything better than Lord Of The Rings -- and I need to get back to the Shire and watch those movies!!! We talk New Zealand, the seminar table, "Sacred Hoops" & Zen, girlfriends, motorcycles, Halloween, the power and lack of power in language, translation, Moby Dick and the singular and myopic focus of Melville, 7-pages/day, and popcorn!!!

Luke is a stud. Luke attended Mater Dei, Gonzaga, Brown. From a boy and before that perhaps from his father, Luke's number one love was football. From MapleWood to MD to Gonzaga -- Luke played football and lacrosse and excelled in the classroom. And by the end of his time on Eye Street Luke was pointed north for Brown University to play lacrosse and study among the nation's elite. On the field Luke lead with his play and off with his character. Luke has always been an instant classic, and now he has his sights set on something grander -- the Marine Corp!!!

Terry went to Mater Dei, Prep, Duke, where he played lacrosse and captained the team -- sounds like a familiar path, but what is more is that at the end of Independence Month he is off to Coronado, CA for the first step toward become a Navy Seal. Becoming a seal is Terry's goal, and this is one of the loftiest goals that man can pursue. However, having known Terry for much of his life and after a fun, informative, and impressive conversation, I wouldn't be surprised to see a seal in his crystal ball!!!

Monsignor John Ensler has always preferred Father John. He says there have been so many good priests who have not been given this title, and I believe this to be true. But I have also had the thought that is it because Father John is a father at heart because he has the heart of a child. Whenever Father John says mass and there are kids in the pews, he speaks to them -- the mass is geared toward the children -- maybe because this thing called life isn't that complicated if in our grown-up lives we can let our hearts be like that of a child.
Father John's episode was my 50th podcast and it was truly one of the most enjoyable -- and I hope you enjoy the inspiration that flows from this wonderful man. John, once the administer of pain on the defensive end of the field, now trades his destructive force for healing powers. John desires to be a doctor!!! From 'hound to Hoya, John takes his talents to M-Street -- or where ever the library is located!!

Matty Thompson is tearing it up on the lacrosse field of High Point University -- but a little differently than you may think. There is a story about a UNC football player who was about to hang up the cleats mid-career when his coaches and teammates begged him to stay on the team as the 12th man on the field, in the locker room, sidelines -- on and off the field. He was the ambassador of moral, and that is what Matty Thompson is for High Point Lacrosse.
Matty and I hit on a lot of great topics, but the greatest of them all and philosophy and personality that Matty carries with him everyday is levity. Levity is perspective. Levity is that when life is complicated and we are stressed to the max to not take yourself too seriously and to be able to laugh at yourself.
Life is a fine balance between serious and humor, and I'd say when in doubt fall to the side of humor -- because the humor just might help with that thing which is serious -- and that is levity. Thank you, Matty -- never loose your charm and humor, and most importantly, and which is these two put together -- your heart!!
I taught Will Giblin 1st grade PE and 8th grade history -- not in the same year -- and Will says that was the only class he says that he fell asleep in -- not in the PE!!! Other than the nap, Will and I have always got along great -- maybe because Will is a Giblin.

I have known Gail as long as I have known Henry. I have known Henry as long as he has known Linda. And I have truly known my sister as long as Henry and Linda have been in love -- and that has been a finger-licking long and good time.
Henry is my brother-in-law and his mother is Gail. Gail was born in England, spent time in India and the south of France, before she took a job with her home country which landed her in DC as a diplomat. Gail had a good ole time running with the young, fun, and international crowd of the Nation's Capital and it was then and there that Gail met Mark.
Jump forward 40 years, Gail is still here -- full of life, laughs, stories, perspective, and wisdom. We sat down for a lovely tete-a-tete on relationships, Britain, growing up 'round the world, photography, Connecticut, family, Harry & Meghan and the Royals, and more!!! Justin came to Mater Dei in 6th grade and he was instantly liked and respected. In competitive arenas, Justin excelled in the classroom and on the athletic fields. Coach Fegan was the football coach for Georgetown Prep from 1961 - 1996. Coach was and still is a legend!!! Susan and I go back to Ayden, her younger son, was in 1st grade PE. In 1986 Susan began working for Ridgewells and 11 years later she bought it -- that kinda sums up this serious go-getter.

My #1 SIS and her favorite sibling like Tuesdays. Tuesdays have become our day. We sat down in the morning on a beautiful and was to become steamy Tuesday to talk the Rock, our weight-loss competition, Florida (of course), and movies. It is always a treat, Linny -- love ya tons!!!!
Next time Linny will be with me she will have a surprise guest with her and that will be Friday, May 7 (mom's birthday -- and it won't be mom(this time)!!). And the next actual Tuesdays with Linny will be in two weeks and Linny will be with another special guest who is a little closer to home (that was a hint, and hint #2 -- he is a he and he's been on the 'cast before!!!)

Chris Carter goes by "Carter Rocks" because he rocks and it plays on Carderock which the google-machine labels as a PicNic ground, but it is a lot more than that -- and so is Mr. Carter. Chris and I met on the mean streets of Bethesda and we ran the raucous roads of Dewey Beach. Chris has worked in media for almost 20 years and he lends his experience to me and you and we have a ball doing it in his insane studio that he is creating for a client because now Chris is his own boss -- the founder of "Always Evolving Media." Scott and I have been friends for years -- so I knew this conversation would be fun and easy!! Scott was a lacrosse star at Georgetown University between the lines and on the sideline. Father and son with his legendary father, Scott coached the Hoyas for a number of years before taking the helm of head coach of the Georgetown Prep "lil" Hoyas. Prep knocked off Penn Charter last week and is jazzed to jump in to league play with back-to-back tilts against the number one team in the area, Bullis. Good thing is that Prep is number two and the bulls-eye is on the bulldog. Bulldog stew, anyone!!??!!
Linda and I grew up with Paul and Brian, and which is more -- our fathers played poker every month for 30 years!! We sit and talk on a beautiful April Sunday about dads, the beach, poker, golf, and ZEUS!!!

Marty has known me since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. He has been a fixture in my consciousness from a very young age and he is a champion golfer. Any golfer worth his salt in our area knows of Marty West. It was a such a joy to sit with him and talk golf, kids, grandkids, and a life well-lived.
