With interest rates on the 10 year bond in the US at 2% and at 0.56% in Germany (source: marketwatch.com) stocks look like the better alternative for the long term investor. Currently the S&P 500 index yields a dividend of 2.2% and the Dow Jones yields a dividend of 2.6% and the Euro Stoxx 50 index yields 3.6% (source: cnbc.com).
An investor that can accept the volatility that comes with stock markets would do better in the long run because the yields are higher than bonds and have upside potential. Whereas bonds don’t have upside potential.

The aging of wine is potentially able to improve the quality of wine. This distinguishes wine from most other consumable goods. While wine is perishable and capable of deteriorating, complex chemical reactions involving a wine's sugars, acids and phenolic compounds (such as tannins) can alter the aroma, color, mouthfeel and taste of the wine in a way that may be more pleasing to the taster.
