Alas, the regular season is over but there’s still a lot that needs to play out. Michigan beat Ohio State for the third consecutive year, essentially locking up a playoff spot. What does this mean for the Buckeyes moving forward? Alabama is still alive for the playoffs after a wild Iron Bowl win, and they now need to get ready for Georgia. Heading into championship weekend Tim and Cullen break down the various playoff scenarios on the table before picking winners for this week. Somehow we find ourselves in the final week of the regular season, the games have flown by this year. We’re setting up for an amazing finish to the season and the guys are breaking down last week’s action. All of the top teams won last week but the biggest development was the injury to Florida State QB Jordan Travis. We discuss how this impacts the playoff picture and then dive into some very plausible CFP doomsday scenarios. There’s a chance we could have up to eight teams with zero or one loss on selection Sunday. What would the committee do? It’s likely that one of those teams will be Ohio State or Michigan, who meet this week in what could be the biggest game of the year. Tim and Cullen break it down and pick their winners. It’s crunch time as we’re already near the end of the regular season and contenders are starting to distinguish themselves. We begin by talking about Bama and their amazing turnaround since that loss to Texas. Then it’s time to dive into Michigan, the game with Penn State, and the latest in the sign stealing scandal. Shockingly that’s not the only crazy story this week as Texas A&M ponies up $76M to get rid of Jimbo Fisher. We actually think there’s a common thread between the Michigan and Texas A&M stories, an overactive desire to win. Then we end by breaking down the most interesting games for week 12. Enjoy!

We are back after an eventful week of college football. Tim and Cullen start by checking in on all the power five conferences. The Big 12 is top heavy but still exciting. The PAC 12 is the league of the week and had several entertaining games. The B1G has been a bit boring, but not for long. The SEC is still weak this year, except for Georgia but they must play the next 4-6 weeks without their best weapon Brock Bowers. And in the ACC there is a sleeper playoff hopeful in UNC. Then we pick this weekend’s biggest matchups including the top ten battle between OSU and Penn State. Thanks for listening!
Last week was action packed and the guys have lots to discuss. We begin with the Red River Rivalry, where OU and Texas played an instant classic. OU is in the driver’s seat for the Big 12 title game but we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a rematch. Then we hit on several other topics including the epic coaching failure in Miami; Texas A&M’s missed opportunity; the futility of USC’s defense; Notre Dame running out of gas; and the dominance displayed by Michigan and Georgia. It’s halfway through the season so we provide progress reports on a few teams before picking this week’s games including a huge matchup in the PAC12 between Washington and Oregon.
Yet another exciting weekend of college football is in the books. Lots to discuss and we start with the thrilling LSU-Ole Miss game. Over 100 total points were scored, defense anyone? Sticking with the SEC, Georgia survived Auburn and the guys are starting to wonder if the champs have taken a step back. Also in the SEC, Florida looked terrible against Kentucky, raising questions about Billy Napier’s job security. USC defeated Colorado but didn’t look great doing it, looks like the defense might hold them back again this season. Finally, Notre Dame’s luck turned around against Duke, potentially salvaging their season. The guys then discuss the Heisman, which looks like Caleb Williams’ to lose, before picking this week’s big games including Texas-OU.
Another exciting week of football is in the books, lots to discuss. The college football regular season ended with a bang and the guy’s are here to break it all down. In the end we make our game picks, including a game with huge implications in the Big 12 when TCU visits Texas.

Week 4 of the college football season finally delivered some juice! In this episode Tim and Cullen discuss the playoff hopes for the PAC12 after three of its undefeated teams lose; then we dive into the decline of northern football programs, particularly Michigan (who was trounced by Wisconsin) and Nebraska; and in the end the guys make picks for the sneaky good games this weekend.
Today’s episode starts with a serious discussion of the Black 14, a group of African American players at the University of Wyoming that were kicked off the football team for protesting racial injustice. This year is the 50th Anniversary of the events and the university honored their sacrifice this past weekend. Tim and Cullen discuss the incident and the general role athletes can play in social justice.
Then the guys dive into the topic of parity, or lack thereof, in college football. It’s only week four but it already looks like the playoff contenders are down to 6-7 teams, is that bad for the sport? The episode ends with a breakdown of this week’s monster games including Wisconsin-Michigan, Auburn-Texas A&M, and Notre Dame-Georgia.

Tim and Cullen break down West Virginia’s big win over Texas and what it means for the Big 12. Then they ask the question on everyone’s mind, can anyone beat Alabama? The Turnover Chain strikes again! We won’t say ‘The U’ is back, but they’re certainly relevant. Weeks ago we said that we didn’t trust Georgia and Notre Dame because they were too one dimensional, that turned out to bite both of them in the end. Could we get two teams from one conference in the college football playoff? Could a two loss team make the playoff for the first time? We tackle all this and more in this week's episode.
What a weekend! As a Buckeye fan, Cullen is still recovering. There were upsets, comebacks, coach firings, and we even got our first college football playoff ranking. This week Tim and Cullen discuss all the big issues including the firing of Jim McElwain, Iowa State’s rise, Notre Dame’s dominance, and this week’s games including Oklahoma/Oklahoma State and Clemson/NC State.
Madness, madness I tell you! Four teams that were in the top 10, Clemson, Washington, Washington State, and Auburn, all lost in the same weekend. Others, like USC and Oklahoma, were pushed to the brink but ultimately survived. College football is awesome for this reason; anyone can lose on any given day. We are now halfway into the season! Some teams have looked as good as expected (e.g. Alabama), some of have been surprisingly good (Georgia and TCU), and others have been disappointing (what happened to Florida State?!). In this episode we’ll pass out our midterm college football grades and project who will have an ‘A’ at the end of the season. We will also spend some time discussing the scandal that has rocked college basketball and it’s implications for football.

For others, like USC and Michigan, they’ve shown flashes of brilliance but have been quite inconsistent so maybe this week will bring some clarity.
