False sense of Purpose concerning Work
A false sense of purpose concerning work has caused so many to make their job their God, or it has become a great source of frustration and stress and for some both. It has caused so many to chase the "American Dream" or a slice of the "American Lie". In a false pursuit of happiness the family structure has deteriorated under the stress of this false purpose. There are real life family feuds caused by the stress of work, husbands and wives at war, children caught in the crossfire. In the wake of a false sense of purpose concerning work is separate, divorce and children who are neglect of the love and attention they need. People are stressed out, worn-out, depressed and even sick, and some have gone postal and killed people because we are malfunctioning, we are functioning outside of our created purpose.
The purpose of work is dynamically connected to our ultimate purpose. Genesis 1:26-28; 2:4-9; 3:15-19 Purpose is determined by the manufacturer Revelations 4:11 God created work and was the first to work Genesis 2:1-3; John 5:17 His work was expanding the Kingdom of Heaven Purpose is not a curse/punishment it's our purpose.
