Andrew is the founder of LevelFields AI, a fintech company that is using advanced data analysis and artificial intelligence to democratize Wall Street. With nearly two decades of experience working with large datasets and unstructured data, Andrew recognized an opportunity to give individual investors the same powerful analytical capabilities that were previously only accessible to big hedge funds and asset management firms.

Prior to founding LevelFields, Andrew had a diverse career. This led him to start his first software company in 2010, which focused on reputation management for public companies.

After selling that business in 2019, Andrew and his team began developing the technology behind LevelFields, using AI and natural language processing to rapidly identify market-moving events and predict their impact on stock prices. By making this advanced analytics accessible to individual investors, Andrew aims to "level the playing field" and disrupt traditional investment practices.

  • Compartmentalize assets across limited liability entities to prevent legal attacks against one asset from reaching others
  • Link anonymously-owned trusts to a law firm to secure details under attorney-client privilege for maximum asset protection
  • Focus on simplicity in business by offering one clear service and spending time on fulfilling tasks instead of unenjoyable duties
  • Seek to find purpose beyond money for true life fulfillment, but leverage financial education and coaching to enable personal growth

Your WakeUp Call begins when you start to challenge conventional thinking. When you empower yourself to break free from the daily grind. When you choose to design your own lifestyle and economy.

Paul Thompson is joined for this episode of “The Wake-Up Call” by Life and Business Coach Angie Wisdom. After getting started as an investment firm owner and financial advisor, Angie has moved into the life coaching space, guiding people into becoming the best possible, most “non-negotiable” version of themselves they can be.

The two go into detail about the need for knowing and having access to the greatest version of ourselves, so that we can create the life, business, and relationships that we want. You have to “fill up your own cup” before you can fill the cup of others. Angie and Paul have a fantastic discussion about life and lessons learned that make up Angie’s new book, “The Non-Negotiable You”.

Key Points From This Episode:

  • If you can genuinely bring your Focus to what you CAN Control, you’ll have so much freedom to become the best version of yourself.
  • You can’t hitch your happiness onto someone else’s happiness– Otherwise you will need to be in control of others in order to feel joy.
  • No matter who you are or where you come from, many of us have “Universal Challenges” that all come from the same place.
  • YOU have to be great at being YOU.
  • The “Morning Mindset” is key. If you win the morning, you win the Day.
  • You can’t expect to respond with the right tools and knowledge (such as gratitude) if you’re not practicing them everyday.
  • When You “Choose Your Seat”, you know exactly where you want to be and what place you want to be in. From there you can be intentional about taking action.

Your WakeUp Call begins when you start to challenge conventional thinking. When you empower yourself to break free from the daily grind. When you choose to design your own lifestyle and economy.

Former Navy Veteran and current Real Estate Investor Corey Chonsky joins host Paul Thompson for this episode of “The Wake-Up Call”. Similarly to Paul’s story in the corporate world, Corey saw a financially secure future for himself outside of the military and took a leap into Real Estate Investing.

Beyond the discussion surrounding Corey’s time in the navy, the two go into detail about best practices for investing, regardless of if it's on your own or with a group through Syndication. Knowing how to connect with others, and who to connect with, is likely to determine the success of your Syndication regardless of what sort of deal you’re planning to do.

Key Points From This Episode:

  • Measure growth carefully, and don’t bite off more than you can chew.
  • Bring in team members who fill in your gaps– know your weaknesses.
  • A Deal Might fall through, but you can come out better with the new connections you’ve made, as long as they’re carefully vetted.
  • You can’t have someone on your team for the sole purpose of capital– you need an established relationship
  • A great way to get into syndication is to offer a team (like Corey’s) help in some sort of way, services, etc.
  • Being intentional about increasing connections is important when getting into the syndication world. Conferences, podcasts, social media, etc. are all important.
  • “Survive until 2025”... Many people are waiting to see what’s going to happen in real estate in the coming months
  • Get in the Game. You can only learn academically for so long until you have to jump in.

Your WakeUp Call begins when you start to challenge conventional thinking. When you empower yourself to break free from the daily grind. When you choose to design your own lifestyle and economy.

On this episode of “The Wake-Up Call”, Host Paul Thompson shares a great conversation with Community Shaper and Real Estate Syndication expert, Sam Sells. The two discuss the benefits that Real Estate can provide to large groups of people, beyond the obvious potential for growing your own wealth and portfolio.

Sam’s Wake-Up Call came when he started to make money, but wasn’t making an impact. He has always been keen on helping others and transforming communities, and he’s developed a fantastic way of using Syndication to invest into underserved neighborhoods. Sam and Paul go into detail about the methodology of Sam’s Syndication, what’s working and what isn’t, and how you can get involved and get started.

Key Points From This Episode:

  • Find a Coach or Mentor– Namely someone who has been in the business for a while
  • There's no problem with 3rd Party Property Managers if you don’t have a large presence in a market.
  • “High Impact Deals” are challenging projects, but are worth the investment for the improvement of the community.
  • A “Rate Cap” is something you can add to a loan that caps the most an interest rate can float to… for a premium rate.
  • Be Open to different kinds of deals. 60/40 Deals, 50/50 Deals, Waterfall deals, etc. are all possibilities depending on the type of property and the situation.
  • Setting Up a Fund is More Difficult Than Expected… But Worth it.

Your WakeUp Call begins when you start to challenge conventional thinking. When you empower yourself to break free from the daily grind. When you choose to design your own lifestyle and economy.

Have you ever heard of an MCM? A “Merchant Cash Advance”? Most likely not, and yet it’s an incredible source of revenue for people who are in the know. Host Paul Thompson discusses the MCM at length with the master of the form, and today’s guest on “The Wake Up Call”, Peter Risko.

Peter’s experience on Wall Street in New York City, brokering deals and handling a team of almost 100 people, has led him to acquiring multiple millions of dollars in revenue for himself and his business. Now, he joins Paul to share his knowledge of a lesser-known brokerage technique: the Merchant Cash Advance.

Key Points From This Episode:

  • A MCM is, at it its simplest, buying tomorrow’s sales at today’s discounts
  • This is not a loan, it’s a buy/sell agreement.
  • The MCM provides businesses with working capital to cover short-term cash needs
  • It’s important that a good MCM provider ALSO strategizes with the business to utilize the cash in the best way possible… so everyone wins.
  • If you’re willing to do the work, you can go from learning the definition of an MCA one day, to making serious money the next… But it takes effort.
  • You won't find a greater ROI; what you’re getting back in the next month on a 40 day deal, is the equivalent to thousands of percentage points worth of return.

About Russ Morgan

Wealth Without Wall Street’s Founder and Partner, Russ Morgan, is known as “The Idea Guy.” Russ began his professional career as an investment advisor in 2004 after graduating from Auburn University — a slight foray from 10-year-old Russ’ dream of becoming a professional baseball pitcher. Russ started IBC in 2009, and eventually went on to found Wealth Without Wall Street in 2015. Russ' mother was an enormous inspiration for him growing up. As a single mother with two young children, she took a rigorous, accelerated track through college while working multiple jobs, all with the goal of bettering her children’s lives. When he’s not working, you can wave to Russ on a boat at the lake pulling his kids around on a tube. And on Sunday mornings, he’s probably rushing to church with his family … only 10 minutes late.

Russ’ creativity, fresh ideas, and knack for problem solving are indispensable assets to his role at Wealth Without Wall Street. Russ would describe himself as competitive, creative, and passionate; his colleagues would likely add that he is helpful and abundant. Russ hopes to be remembered as an innovator who loved to teach others, and he has a goal to one day serve in the mission field. Finishing the book is another more near-term goal. Aside from Wealth Without Wall Street, Russ learns from the Business School podcast with Sharran Srivatsaa and Donald Miller’s Building A StoryBrand book and podcast. Aspire Movement, Campus Outreach, and Young Business Leaders are three causes near to Russ’ heart. Russ in one motto? “Just try!”
