Hope is not a plan. If you want 2024 to be better than 2023, you’ll have to do something different. That’s just how it is. You’ll have to tweak a couple things and make a few changes. One thing we’ve all learned over the last few years is that a reset is the not the same as a restart. Fortunately, God knows exactly what it will take to make this year one of your best years yet. It's the age-old question on a Friday night: Should we stay in or go out? Staying in means being comfortable and relaxed, (think PJ's and a movie on Netflix) while going out is exciting and adventurous, (like trying that octopus sushi roll for the first time). Israel had the same dilemma when God led them to the brink of the promised land when they sent in 12 spies to scope the land to tell Israel if they should stay put, or go into this new land that God had sent them into. Staying was safe, but going offered adventure, and the promises of God. We experience the same choice every day of our lives. Do we stay in where it's safe (think church life) or do we go out and join God in the world and experience the thrill of seeing His Kingdom break in "out there!"
