They later discuss the NBA and how despite the fact that large contracts are being signed, the "I want out" factor virtually makes all of these contracts a year-by-year type of situation. The guys talk some more baseball and discuss if some of the hot first-half teams will keep up the pace after the All-Star break. What pieces do some of the top-tier teams need to acquire to make a push for October?
The guys kick off the show with a recap of last night's historical Home Run Derby and praise the display of power by the young players. They show some extra love for winner Pete Alonso who won a prize bag twice the size of his 2019 salary. They bring in MLB Writer Chris Swick to talk about the frustrating truth of the pay of young talented players in Major League Baseball, and discuss the possibility of ending the MLB Draft as a whole. We are still waiting to see where Thunder guard Russell Westbrook will end up by the start of the season, and the guys share their thoughts on where the former MVP might land. The guys close the hour discussing the SEVEN teams they believe could win the West this season.
Rock and Manuch kick off the second hour continuing their discussion about possible landing spots for Russell Westbrook. The guys later talk a little football and discuss some of the more recent Super Bowls and the defining plays in each of these games. In honor of this week's MLB All-Star Game in Cleveland, the guys discuss the city Cleveland with a guest from the city. The guys finish the last hour of the show discussing one of baseball's greatest arguments: Why is Pete Rose still not in the Hall of Fame. Rock and Manuch discuss Pete and the logos that have been lost over the years deserve their place in Cooperstown. The guys argue that there is certain history that does belong in the Hall of Fame.
The guys open up the show discussing NBA Free Agency, specifically the trade between the Clippers and Thunder that sent Paul George to Los Angeles. Roc and Manuch discuss the difference between the Lakers and Clippers building processes, and debate whether the strong culture and a deep bench will beat simply surrounding LeBron and Anthony Davis with small pieces. Where will Russell Westbrook end up? The guys close the hour discussing whether the Lakers are making the right call by letting 35-year-old LeBron James run the point. Will it be fun? Absolutely. Roc and Manuch give some news with a former substitute teacher filming an obscene video in a school and a car dealership giving a different kind of sale. Roc and Manuch end out the hour talking about minimum wage and Wall Street bonuses.

Chad Kelly has been suspended for two weeks in the upcoming season, Alabama and Auburn are the only two teams in the SEC who will not sale alcohol eithin their stadium and Bru McCoy will re-enter the transfer portal. The following segment is discussing the upcoming schedule of games to start the college football season that the guys are looking forward to coming in week 'zero'. Seinfeild discussion over an iconic episode with a hilarious soundbite played jose that goes with the baseball discussion going on. The last segment deals with the guys telling jose that he has to get out of the house more with the amount of movies he hasnt seen. The final segment deals with the spelling bee issue that ends in an 8-way tie and the terrible call.
