My longest friend Pwong and I go on a road trip to Richmond, Virginia to visit friends, and we ask each other some raw questions to gain each other’s perspectives. When I lost my mother, my perspective certainly changed. Changed in a way where I’m not playing a front for people anymore. Maturing, especially for me in my 20s, plays that positive role for society where you have an understanding that, ultimately, no one has it right. But you follow principles that fits your lifestyle, of which, can appear unlikable to some. But, stick to who you are, and even if you haven’t gone through heavy loss in your life, prepare yourself to know that life is precious. This was recorded a day before Kobe passed away.
