Ray and Kathy Land are the owners of LandAttack Training Systems LLC and LandAttack Ministries in Phoenix Arizona. As personal fitness trainers, they engage and train those committed to live healthy. Both physically and spiritually. ay is an accomplished former bodybuilding champion, becoming the 1994 MuscleMania Lightweight 100% natural Champion, as seen on ESPN in Redondo Beach, California.

Just after this accomplishment, Ray was accused and charged in a case that would sentence him to the Arizona Department of Corrections (AZDOC) custody for thirty-three years. After serving thirteen years of his sentence, Ray rightly won his appeal and was released. During this challenging time, Ray was committed to his walk with The Lord, and clung to Him during this season. While incarcerated, Ray began to prepare and obtain his Personal Training Certification and made plans to launch a personal training business upon his release. It was also during this season that he was praying faithfully to God -- to prepare him a wife. However, his future wife, Kathy, was being arrested and sentenced at that same time!
Kathy Land, a pastor’s daughter from Arizona, had spent her youth searching for an identity. While in the custody of the AZDOC, she found one. This new identity would arise from her upbringing -- one found truly in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Before her incarceration, she lost her way in homelessness and fighting through addictions. She clearly remembers the moments of her lowest point, reaching out to God for help. One day in desperation, Kathy uttered a simple prayer for God's help. Then, in a few months time, her prayer was answered in the most unusual way! -- being arrested and sentenced to a term in prison! During her time in the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) Perryville, she became committed to her faith. Because her focus had changed, she also studied and got her GED, in addition to working out and exercising.

It was there in Prison that Kathy began to volunteer as a leader in the Health and Wellness program. This would prove to be the career path she would pursue after her release.
Understandably, the Lands certainly have a heart for those committed to getting out of prison and staying out. From this heart, they have created the book: Five Key Principles to Freedom from the inside out. Through this voice of God’s calling, they share their testimony and give practical insights to build a life of character and success.
