Conrad Aiken was an American writer and poet and a contemporary and friend of T.S.Eliot. His story, Mr Arcularis, is considered one of the finest short ghost stories of all time. Part one, although gentle is uncanny and unsettling. You get a real sense that things aren't quite right.

Most photos I use are blue doors around the world. The image I use most is a blue door in Cork. I always imagined that the door to the Cosmos was in Cork.

Neruda was a chilean diplomat and poet. He won the Nobel prize for literature in 1971. A staggering talent, Neruda could translate longing into words and words into longing.
