How we can change our outlook on food...

The role of our gut is slowly becoming a hot-topic in health circles, and with more and more studies concluding that gut health is just as important as our overall health. Today's final episode in the Summer series will concentrate on ways we can be proactive when it comes to our gut health. We'll talk about  how a healthy lifestyle does not have to be expensive, so we'll start by breaking down easy and affordable ways we can help support our gut, dish by dish.

View Details

The issue of Gut Health is becoming more important than we might think. The gut is like a 'second brain' which further attests to the maxim, we are what we eat! When talking about our Gut Health we are usually referring to our "Microbiome" - the entire ecosystem of organisms living within the human body.

In part I of our Gut series, we'll be talking about our Gut Health as it relates to our sleep. It is very easy to overlook these two important factors of our overall health, but one would be surprised to know just how much the two relate.

Today, we'll be talking about our essential list and why they're so good for us.

We know now that the adult human body is made up of roughly 60% water, and that it helps the body to control temperature, promote healthy blood flow, and to transport nutrients through the gut. Proper hydration can be much more than drinking eight glasses of water a day.
