When we give too much attention to the outcomes and circumstances outside of our control we build anxiety. With mental health on the rise we need to cast down our anxiety by focusing on what we can control.
In today’s society and environment we have to be able to discern what is noise and what is God’s voice.
Today’s quick fire sermon is on “Stop waiting to exhale.” Let’s dive in and discuss what spiritual respiration is and why it’s vital to the believer!
We’re going to dive into James 4:7 along with Matthew 4:1-11 to discuss having an escape plan from the lies and influence of satan.
We can depend on the government of man or the government of God. Which one will you trust?
Ezekiel 12:25,28. We have expectation for God to do a thing. God works progressively and immediately and we must remain patient for what God is doing in our life.
We have to take swift action to activate and utilize our faith not allowing it to be dead nor stagnant. James encourages us to have works of faith.
Let go and keep going. Not everyone is assigned to your life to be in every aspect of your life. When you hold on too long those people become anchors holding you back.
Some have, some have not, we all have Jesus. Proverbs 22:2 says, “The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.”
Verse of the day - Matthew 22:36-39 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
