Welcome to the sermon hub for Gathering Place Foursquare Church in Burien, Washington. We post sermons on Tuesdays following the date the message was given. Our website's sermon page is www.gpfoursquare.org/sermons.
Due to technical difficulties, our recording was paused. We were able to recover almost all of the message.
This week we begin a new series called “The Long Game” with a focus on believing that God will fulfill his promises even if it does not happen in the time or manner we wanted to see it in. David desired to build the temple for Israel, but it was not completed in his lifetime. Solomon completes the temple and has the thrill of dedicating it to the Lord and is recognized for his greatness in leadership. It took over twenty years to complete, but the promise of God was without waiver during this time. Our text for the month covers
2 Chronicles 5-8 and I would encourage you to read the text over the next few weeks so you have a greater grasp on the context of what we will be covering.
Continuing our series in Missions and our calling to reach out to the rest of the world.
Continuing our series in Missions and our calling to reach out to the rest of the world.
We hear from the Seabury missionary family and then jump into our final week on the Obedience series.
Week 8 of our Ten Commandment series is about stealing. Beyond not taking from people, what does it mean on a more spiritual level? God is actually caring for our hearts with this command.
Steve Cecil is in town from Russia, and he challenges us to step out into the promises of God, with faith that the impossible will be possible through him - his promises do not negate our responsibility to action.
Jeff dives into the commandment about murder, teaching that there is always redemption available to us. We learn about the value of human life.
Jeff talks about the past five years, lessons learned, and what the future might look like.
We hear from Jeff on Palm Sunday as we continue in our sermon series on life and relationships in God's Kingdom.
