THE GOVERNMENT
Love them or hate them.
Blue or Red or Other colour.
But they have said they need a hand.
That they want a hand in housing and especially in social housing and extra very especially in supported housing.

Town or Country?
These days more than five in every six people in England live in an urban area.
But the best part of ten million.
Yes.
Nearly TEN MILLION PEOPLE.
Live in a RURAL area.
And many of them are struggling and there is a very REAL housing NEED.
It isn't all manor houses and decisions on whether the barn should be turned into a holiday let for city slickers...
Over ONE MILLION require social housing.
But guess what? This just ain't there...
So while many are focused on airspace developments and turning the local chip shop into a high-rise apartment block there is a big unsolved NEED.
Out there in the green fields, on the sides of hills and in the villages where there just isn't sufficient housing stock for the people.

WHO REALLY CARES?

The idea in investment is to take something and make it more valuable in the future.

Maria Luisa - The HMO Duchess (look her up on instagram) joins us on My Property World. Zero voids (not 1 day in 1 room) since 2016 - portfolio is now 22 rooms and growing. We hear about her move to study law in Liverpool from Estonia (before taking a career change after law school) to saving hard to buy her first house in the South East (which was turned into her first investment property) and building her portfolio to 6 properties for scratch. Very old school approach, hard work, thrift and discipline. Lots of attention to detail which you will see in her portfolio pictures plus the documenting of her journey.
