At Chalk Eastbourne, we chat regularly with local digital professionals who have SO MUCH good advice and knowledge to share about getting into digital careers. We decided to produce a special edition episode of Chalk Talks for students and those looking to start work in the industry.

  • Tom Fielder (7:24), CTO at custom software company Switchplane, which is behind the Chalk Eastbourne initiative.

  • Seb Cox (11:10), animator and film director at Bubble Light Productions, who also teaches at Hailsham Community College.
  • Grace Prior (13:56), Programme Director at Silicon Brighton who led the Diverse Sussex initiative, which supports underrepresented groups in tech.
  • Stacey Pinkney (15:32), recruiter at Booksy, who came into the digital sector and joined the Eastbourne-based start-up 18 months ago.
