Formula 1 was in Russia and they made their presence known to all.
This week we have Bruce Cook (Crew chief for Brandon McReynolds, Son of former Nascar crew chief and current announcer Larry McReynolds) join us on the phone for an interview about everything from chassis manufacturers to track food and ferris wheels. We also have first time TQ winner Kyle Taraska in studio to talk about his win at Wall Stadium Speedway and some technical questions as well. Formula 1 and Indycar were inactive this past weekend while Nascar went to Richmond.
This week we tighten things up as we relay some breaking local news before discussing our thoughts on the Nascar weekend in vegas, several highs and lows were found in every series. Then we move to the Championship race for Indycar in Sonoma, and they certainly had some unusual storylines to follow on Sunday. Next up is Formula 1 from Singapore under the lights, with a lot of sparks. Finally we talk about our local tracks, involving thrill shows, an upcoming demo derby and so much more!

Sebastian Vettel complains that fans are complaining, and thinks that Formula 1 should be boring. Indy car has a few switch ups planned for 2018, mostly in the cockpits. This Week we have Factory Stock driver Bryan O’Shea in the studio as well as former Factory Stock driver Neil Rutt III as Nick Rendo and Sam Ballard Jr are out on assignment this week. Indycar had some testing at Mid-Ohio after their race. Then we get into our upcoming local events and we recap events from Saturday night, where we saw an awful lot of action from all our regular divisions and still got to wrap up before 10 P.M. After a week off, the guys have returned to discuss the Nascar races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Some differing opinions on those events. Indycar unveiled it's new design for 2018and was testing at Indy on the heels of those Nascar events. Formula one has announced a change for 018 involving the HALO system, and Eric Brennan gets to be the judge as Nick and Josh argue over what should have been done to protect the drivers heads. With Nascar in Kentucky and Indycar in Iowa we get plenty of country flavor this week. Wall Stadium Speedways own Martin Truex Jr. displayed pure dominance throughout the cup race despite some incredibly adverse conditions in the final laps. Silly season is in full effect and we are just now learning where several drivers will end up next season. Indycar had a less than stellar event at Iowa Speedway, similar to last year. Helio Castroneves broke a 3 year winless streak in a strong performance as he may be facing losing his ride for a move to sports car racing. Formula 1 had plenty of drama as well which leads us to discuss the rules for the standing start. Formula E will be making its way to Brooklyn this weekend for its debut race in New York. We then dive into our local segment to discuss the recent events at Wall Stadium as well as the upcoming pack the track night.
After a month long hiatus due to the unfortunate disease of cancer affecting one of our show members, we have returned. We have a lot to catch up on and a lot to look forward to. As we run through the recent show at Daytona involving the Nascar series, we look at the pros and cons of plate racing. We then set our sights on Kentucky speedway. Nick brings us up to speed on Formula one and his unwavering devotion to Ferrari, no matter what the circumstance may be, and all the action at Baku tis year which easily outranked last years snoozefest. A little twist on this weeks show, as we do our local segment first. We simply couldn't wait to interview Pete MacDonald, a top manager at New Egypt Speedway, as well as content creator for Racersguide.com. He gives us some insight into the inner workings at NES and discussing some of their larger Tuesday night events then continues on to talk about his other projects. We wrap up with a recap of Saturday nights action at Wall Stadium Speedway and some guardrail discussion.
In open wheel, there was a lot going on for the NHRA 4-wide nationals as the drivers were just bouncing off the walls with excitement. Formula 1 had an unexpected winner, although the race was a bit lackluster. Indycar held true to form and elected to go ahead with a race that was as boring as everyone expected, despite knowing a way to improve the product. Then we have a quick discussion on the most American sport ever, "Demolition Drag Racing".
In the Nascar world we quickly recap Richmond and some stats, before getting heated up over some of the pit road penalties that had been issued. It's Bristol baby!!! This week the guys recap all the action at Bristol Motor Speedway. Some great racing action as well as a few great stories. This is all topped off by Dale Jr's announcement that he will be retiring after this season. We follow that with an in depth discussion on what makes a driver worthy of the Hall Of Fame.
Nick takes over for segment 2 as we talk about the Indy lights series and the incredible action they provide. Then we discuss more of Fernando Alonso running the Indy 500 this year, and look forward to an exciting F1 race in Sochi Russia. Some Supercross racing took place over the weekend as well and the NHRA is heading to the 4-Wide Nationals.

With two weeks of Formula 1 to look at, Nick Rendo jumps right in to recap the races as well as discuss a few specific incidents that had a clear impact on the results. We also look into the crossover for Fernando Alonso as he is set to skip the F1 Grand Prix at Monaco, to race the Indy 500. This leads into some discussion of a rather unflattering article about his decision.

Short Track Season is upon us. Local racing action is back. We have results and stories from the weekend. First we discuss a record making weekend for Nascar, Kyle Larson was the headline maker while other notables had some hard hits.

What a wild week it has been. The Daytona 500 is right around the corner, but we have tons of short track racing happening in New Smyrna as well as several other tracks south of our home in NJ. Speedweeks is just around the corner. Nascar has it's Clash race this Saturday night, while the mighty modifieds will be rumbling their way around New Smyrna. There have been some format changes for the clash qualifying. The conspiracy theories still rise up as pole qualifying is set for Sunday. You don't want to miss a minute of our breakdown of the upcoming Daytona 500.
We all thought the new visor cam in IndyCar was amazing. However passing seems to still be an issue, a least at phoenix. Testing at Phoenix, resulted in 3 crashes over 2 nights. In Formula 1 news, Top Gears' Jeremy Clarkson has a positive but adamant message for the new owners, Liberty Media. Ferrari was testing, and Vettel crashed....... Nick isn't thrilled. Pirelli has issued a comment to avoid blame for bad racing in the 2017 season.

Nascar has also announced the addition of a traveling safety team to tour with the series for more consistent medical care. In the open wheel world, there is more bad new for the proposed Halo system in Formula 1. The drivers have apparently voted, but the FIA is still testing other options. Josh and Eric duke it out after Indycar driver Aleshin seems to not feel a need for a Halo style system in Indycar either.

Nascar had a wet and wild weekend in Pocono, Indycar made a great weekend out of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and Formula 1 continued it's action in Hungary. We break down the weekend for you as well as some short track action including a late model race ending in a tie. We also discuss age limits for racing and Nascar licensing and a controversy over an SK modified driver who is suspended due to a possible falsification of his birth certificate.
We talk with Kyle McGowan, a Nascar official who was struck by lightning earlier this week. We also talk about the Nascar weekend in Indy, including the poor attendance. Eric Brennan rants for a few minutes on how to fix the sport, and we move into Formula One and their new tech for the weekend. There was some great action in that race as well. We preview upcoming races this weekend and recap last weekend at Wall Stadium Speedway. We also preview their upcoming events which promise to have a lot for both the fans and the drivers.
We go over the Nascar weekend and the lack of Dale Jr due to concussion like symptoms. We talk about the future of Nascar handling similar brain related injuries. The penalty system in Nascar is flawed, and we tell you why. Then we move to the Camping World Truck Series on the dirt at Eldora speedway Wednesday night. We go over the Indycar race at Toronto as well. Then we preview the upcoming schedule on both the national and local levels after our local track suffered a rain out this past weekend.
With Nascar racing at a newly resurface Kentucky, and Indycar at the Iowa Oval, both had less tha stellar shows, but which one was better? Eric Brennan heartily dislikes Indys "wave around" rule. Then we go into the wet to dry Formula 1 race at Silverstone where the points leader was dealt yet another penalty. We explain and discuss that situation. Then we get to interview Wall Stadium Speedway Sportsman driver Ricky Collins, who currently holds the points lead in the division.

We also review Nascar at Daytona this past weekend, the Formula E championship double header in London, and Formula 1 in Austria, with a dramatic finish.
