Time for a new platform! Cedo Nulli, the official Faculty Association of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, now offers podcasts. These podcasts will focus on society as a whole, as well as your life as a student. Please, sit back and relax!
With the year coming to an end, we started thinking quite frequently about the future and the things it will bring. It is a big of a challenge when it comes to figuring out what we will do after graduating. With most of us being about to enter the world of organizations, we have a lot of questions regarding what the work life actually looks like.
We gathered all these questions and looked for the answers for you, in the interview that we conducted with our dear guest Dr. Jan Luca Pletzer, an expert in organizational psychology. If you want to be a step ahead of your peers and know a little more about what goes on in the world of organizations and how to handle life while working, check our last podcast of the year out!
Feeling SAD ?
Let's talk about it!
Feeling winter blues? Is the cold weather making you feel sad and can't wait until the temperatures start to rise again?
Today we present our podcast about seasonal effective disorder, also called seasonal depression. We will talk about this topic with psychologist Thijs Launspach and we will discuss the personal experience of EUR student Desiree.
If you struggle with seasonal affective disorder and would like to talk to someone about it in an informal way you can contact Desiree via her insta account: @isitdesire
Every night, when we close our eyes, our mind comes up with images, ideas and emotions. Either you remember them or not, Dreaming is something we all do. But what is the function of our dreams? Do they have an underlying message, and if so, how can we find them? In this podcast Dr. Virginia Bennett & Erin Amundson will tell you more about their experience using dreams in the field of psychological therapy. Together, they will listen to some dream recordings and talk about their approach in analysing them. Is this the future? Can we use our dreams to replace traditional approaches in psychotherapy?
From the moment COVID-19 has taken over the world, many experts have been working on a vaccine. But what will happen when the vaccine is on the market, who will get it first? What about people who don’t want to take it? Prof. Dr. Job van Exel shares his expertise about the vaccine. Both him and two students talk about the impact the virus had had on their lives and wether they would take the vaccine or not.
And what about you? Would you take it?
Time for a new platform! At the end of this week, the Media Committee will get started with their podcasts. However, last years Psychology Committee already made sure you would have something to listen to! In collaboration with the ´Criminologie in actie´ association, this committee has produced a podcast focussed on false confessions. We are sure you will enjoy, but how can you be sure we really meant that?
