“The Spoken Narrative” is a podcast by Orlando based portrait photographer and storyteller David Lawrence. Each week I’ll sit down with a fellow creative, artist, or business owner to have a conversation about their stories, careers, and overall journey up to the point of where they are today. I approach these conversations from the idea that we are all going through something and that through hearing the stories of others, it can help us feel less alone. Simultaneously I will be releasing a series of portraits with each episode for you to not just hear the person, but see them as well.
This week we discuss:
-The craziness of Linkin Park being the first live band you photographed!
-Wikipedia Profile Photos
-Using lots of light and color in photographs
-Balancing a day job w/ photography work
-Whether or not we’d photograph the president
-Documenting/sharing stories of the Queer community
-Being a POC Queer photographer
