Who knew that social distancing could lead to... social fatigue?! After an intense week of Zoom calls, we reflect on the challenges of staying connected and sane given what we're all going through these days.

We ask ourselves some hard questions: How do we balance taking care of ourselves and showing up for others? What's the right way to communicate our needs when they're constantly subject to change because #socialanxiety? How much Zoom is too much Zoom?! (seriously)

Relationships (and our efforts to nurture them) can make all the difference right now. Tune in to this week's episode as we explore the power of family, friends, and (self)love interests!

P.S. We are figuring out our mic issues, apologies in advance!

Despite the panic and uncertainty, we’re also seeing beautiful acts of community care. But what is community care? How do we put it into practice? And why is community care sometimes really hard to believe in?

Hint: We have issues asking for help and receiving care!! We also take ample time shouting out friends and community members who inspire us to keep believing in and creating community care, and share some personal stories that will hopefully inspire you, too.

There’s no better time to start the podcast we’ve been putting off than during our #coronavirus self-quarantine, right?!

In this first episode, we acknowledge the crazy times we’re living in and how being long-distance cofounders strangely prepared us to WFH. We get real about how we’re dealing (or struggling to deal) with the mental health effects of social distancing. We confess to the challenges of getting affordable health insurance and therapy as entrepreneurs. And finally, we bask in the glow of Cassandra’s morning ritual and try to rally Karen to get back on hers.

P.S. Apologies for the muffled audio on Cassandra's part! Mic issues will be fixed next time!
