On April 28th of 2021 Amy Carlson’s body was found mummified, grey, and without eyes, wrapped in a sleeping bag and Christmas lights inside a Colorado home where her followers were living. Amy Carlson was also known as Mother God and was the leader of the cult named Love Has One. This is a cult surrounded by abuse allegations and sketchy practices, possibly even some missing persons cases and links to human trafficking.

Andre Roland was just 14 years old when he was found hanging from a tree not far from his home in Columbia, Missouri on March 24, 1989. It was labeled a suicide fairly quickly despite family and friend accounts of Andre’s mental state at the time of his death and some evidence in the case that could point towards foul play. Just over 34 years later this case is still ‘solved’ as a suicide but Andre’s brother is working to change this.

In 1989, 14-year-old Andre Roland was found hanging from a tree near his home in Columbia, Missouri. Despite family and friend accounts of his mental state at the time of his death, and evidence pointing to foul play, his death was quickly labeled a suicide. His younger brother, Christian, has been working to change this. Andre was popular, smart, and athletic, with a magnetic and easy-going personality. He loved playing sports and was friends with everyone. On March 24, 1989, Andre left to play basketball but never arrived. His body was found later that day hanging from a tree. His death was labeled a suicide, but family and friends believe foul play was involved.

Monique Daniels went missing from Moore, Oklahoma in June of 1992. After growing up with abuse in many different forms it seemed like she could've just run away, and that is what her mother and step-father ran with. Monique Daniels was the oldest of what would eventually be 3 full siblings and two more half siblings. It was stated that Monique's biological father was abusive not only to her mother but her and her siblings as well in pretty much every way possible. Her mother eventually left him and remarried a man named Charles "Chuck" Daniels. Eventually abuse wove it's way into this home as well and it was said to be an extreamly strict home.
At just 15 years old Monique got pregnant and she wanted to keep it. Her stepfather, Chuck, would not allow this though. Whether it was a religious standpoint or just a control standpoint he made her get an abortion, after which she ran away and stayed with a friend for some time.
So when Monique went missing while her mother and two siblings were on a church choir trip they just assumed something like that had happened. Their suspicions were helped along by Chuck's account of things and an empty pregnancy test box on the bathroom counter.
Two of Monique's siblings recall oddities that happened the week she went missing, one wrote fake letters under her stepfathers direction to make it look like Monique was okay, and to this day no one has had a sighting of Monique or heard from her. So what really happened?

50-year-old Susan Ledyard was by all accounts happy and healthy the night before she was found dead in the Brandywine River near Wilmington, Delaware. She had injuries to her face and body but what those are is not public. In 2023 her former husband was arrested on assault charges due to hitting is new wife in the head with a hard marble object and formerly biting the tip of her finger off.

The night before she was found in the Brandywine River she was said to be sitting on her back porch, drinking wine, and texting friends. All seemed normal and no one thought anything was off with Susan.
At 3:02am though Susan leaves her home in her car and parks about a mile away in front of an office building gate. It is unknown if anyone was in the car with Susan. It is also unknown what happened, or if anyone joined her after she parked because once the headlights turned off it was too dark to see anything.
There isn't a ton of information in the case but we do know her cause of death was blunt force trauma and drowning. The police firmly believe it was a homicide, not an accident.
We also know that her husband got remarried just 6 months after her death and in January of 2023 he was arrested on assault charges placed by his current wife. He allegedly hit her over the head with a large marble object and in the summer of 2022 he even bit off her finger tip.

Phoenix Coldon was just 23 when she disappeared from East St.Louis, IL. Her 1998 Chevy Blazer was found parked in a traffic lane at a stop sign, but there was no sign of where she went. In the days and weeks leading up to her disappearance she seemed paranoid and was telling people she was unhappy and just wanted to start over. This is one case where voluntary disappearance is a real, plausible theory.

She was homeschooled most of her life even though friends would later say she didn't like it very much; she wanted to experience the normal events and social life. She finally got this freedom and social life when she went to college at 18.
Her parents co-signed on an apartment that they thought she was sharing with a female friend but later found out she was sharing with a secret boyfriend. This was not the only secret Phoenix had before her disappearance.
Phoenix's car was found in a traffic lane in East St.Louis, IL just hours after she disappeared but her parent's didn't find out about it until about two weeks later. For years it was reported that the car was on with the keys in the ignition and the door was open when found...but the officer that responded to the call of a abandoned car later stated that none of this was true.
Lots of things about Phoenix's life came out during the investigation into her disappearance. She had two phones to hide her secret boyfriend from her other boyfriend and from her parents. She had recorded a video in her car stating she wasn't happy and just wanted to start over. She had been fighting with her supposedly to strict parents. She had also thought people were following her and even pulled a knife on her best friend.

Alya Reynolds was just 22 months old when she disappeared from her father's home. Police found "more than a cup of blood" that was confirmed to be Ayla's in her father's home, but no Ayla. Over 11 years later no trace of her, besides the blood, has been found.

If you have any information in the case call (207) 680-4700.22 month old Ayla Reynolds disappeared from Waterville, Main in December of 2011 and she hasn't been seen since. She was living with her father at the time of her disappearance although according to CPS she was suppose to be with her mother.
Her father slept in the partially finished basement while Ayla slept on the first floor of the small house along with her aunt and cousin. The night she went missing her father's girlfriend and her child were also in the home, but according to everyone nothing seemed off.
Her father put her to bed at 8pm, her aunt checked on her at 10am, and then she was discovered to be missing at about 8-9am the next morning.
Although this would be the largest search in Maine's history nothing of Ayla was ever found outside of the home. "More than a cup of blood" was found in the father's home. Some in Alya's room, some on her slippers, some on the living room couch, quite a lot on the walls in the basement and her father's mattress, and some inside of his car.

Mekayla Bali wen missing at 16 years old on April 12, 2016 from Yorktown, Saskatchewan, Canada. Most of her day is caught on CCTV where she is talking to an unknown person but then she seems to vanish into thin air.

She was brought to school like normal but once her grandma dropped her off she left the grounds. She went to a pawn shop and then to a Tim Horton's where she sat for some time. At the Tim Horton's she seemed to be checking to see if someone was coming in, or making sure they weren't. She then left, only to come right back in and go out a separate exit.
She went to many other places this day and most of her actions are recorded on CCTV footage. She is seen walking in essentially circles and haphazard ways on different streets and revisiting places she had already been that day.
At 1:45pm she disappears and is never confirmed to be seen again. Most of the day she is talking on her cellphone but her phone company has no records of this. Due to that police believe she was talking to someone through social media apps, they are most interested in the app called Kik. They think it is possible that she was going to meet someone that she had meet online.
While there is no real evidence she ran away there is also no real evidence of foul play.

Two year old Nikole Betterson went missing in either December of 1977 from Dearborn, MI or in January of 1978 from Las Vegas, NV when her father came and took her from her maternal grandparents. It took 20 years to start the search for her and no trace of her exsisting after December of 1977 has ever been found.

Nikole Betterson was only two years old when her mother tragically died in a car accident. Over the next three months it seems Nikole's father wasn't really in her life, she was just being raised by her maternal grandparents...until her dad came and announced him and his new girlfriend were taking her away.
They told some people they would be moving to California, and others Las Vegas. When they left Michigan in late December of 1977 it was the last time anyone in her family would see Nikole. It took 20 years for her grandparents to search for her, and when they did they came up empty handed. There was no trace of Nikole existing after December of 1977.
Filled with SS fraud, a murder suicide, and the possibility of Nikole passing at just two years old this case is very intense but important to put out there.

Marie had lost custody of her two children when she went to jail for drug and prostitution charges. The foster parents (Dorothy & Mike Rogers) her children had been placed with stated they wanted to adopt the children and made them call Marie their aunt. Dorothy was the last person to see Marie in November of 1977, but her story does not add up. Later on Marie's daughter would relay memories of seeing the Rogers carry her mother lifeless body into their home and later dismember her with an electrical saw.

Dorothy and Marie were in Dorothy's car when they supposedly crashed into a snow bank due to snowy conditions, despite there being no recent snow or rain and no snow that day. According to Dorothy, Marie left her car, got in a dark colored car, and then sped off...this was the last time she was ever seen.
This case was not taken seriously at first due to Marie's reccord but it was opened again in 1996 and 2016. Marie's daughter relayed memories that were corroberated by another foster child staying with the rogers and evidence that would later be found such as sawed off bones wrapped in a women's t-shirt found under the Rogers home.
Marie has not been found to this day and although other Idaho agencies are trying to investigate the original agency is not sharing evidenc or records at this time.

Diane Augat went missing not long after getting out a mental health institution that she was involuntarily put in due to Florida's Baker Act. Four days after she disappeared the top third of one of her fingers was found. A week later a bag of her clothing was found in an outdoor freezer. And over two years later a bag of her belongings was found by her brothers girlfriend inside a Circle K.

She had been put involuntarily into mental health institutions over 32 times since being diagnosed with bipolar disorder less than 13 years before her disappearance. She had her children taken from her custody based on abuse alligations that were never brought to public light. She also got divorced from her husband just 7 years before her disappearance.
Although she was diagnosed she did not regularly take her medication which could've contributed to different things throughout her life.
While her family hopes she is still alive the most likely theory of what happened to her is murder.

JonBenet Ramsey was a 6-year-old little girl murdered just after Christmas in Boulder, CO in 1996. Her case is one of the most infamous in the US but we are no closer to solving it over 20 years later.
After returning home on December 25th and being put to bed it is unknown what happened in the Ramsey home. By the next morning at 5:30a.m. Patsy Ramsey supposedly found a ransom note but then waited about 20 minutes to inform police. Police never secured the home as a crime scene and failed to search the home thuroughly, thus contaminating all of the evidence.
Last week we went over the timeline and the autopsy so this week we dive into some individual pieces of evidence and suspects.

Kyron Horman was 7 years old when he went missing on June 4, 2010 from Skyline Elementary in Portland, OR.
Kyron's father Kaine and step mother Terri had full custody of Kyron at the time of his disappearance. His mother Deseriee was still very involved in his life but suffered from kidney failure so she was unable to care for Kyron like before.
The morning Kyron disappeared Terri had brought him to school due to a science fair going on. According to her she last saw Kyron walking down the hallway to his first class. This was the last time he was ever seen.
In the subsequent months a lot would come out including a murder for hire plot, petty arguments, and interesting police interviews.
To this day Kyron has not been located and pretty much no evidence of what happened to him has been found.

Bryce Laspisa was last heard from on August 30, 2013. He was a 19 year old college student at the time and classes had started just four days earlier.
In the days leading up to his disappearance Bryce had been behaving oddly. He was recreationally using Vyvanse, drinking a lot of alcohol, hallucinating, and acting parinoid. Both his roomate and his girlfriend called his mother just two days before he disappeared but it seemed it didn't concern her at the time.
Bryce left Chico, CA where he was for school at 11:30pm on August 28 and headed towards his parent's home hours away. His parent's didn't find this out until about 12 hours later when their insurance told them someone had used road side assistance.
There were interactions between police and Bryce and a repair man and Bryce multiple times that day but no one reported anything was wrong with him. He did however sit in a town just three hours away from his parent's for seemingly 12 hours.
What was found the next morning was even stranger....

On February 24, 2019 Tyler and his wife went to Columbus, OH for a rare night out after dropping their 20 month old son off with Tyler's parents. They were staying the night at the Hilton inside Easton Shopping Center for Brittany's birthday.
Upon arriving they called one of Tyler's friends to meet them and then went out for dinner and drinks. After a long night out they got an uber back to the hotel and Tyler fell asleep on the way. When they arrived he was insistant that they were not at the right place and seemed confused, so he went on a walk to clear his head but he never returned.
It's been almost 4 years and no sign of Tyler has ever been found, his bank accounts and social media are untouched, and his phone has been disconntected.
Did he have a fatal accident or was foul play involved?

Mateusz Kawecki was a polish native living in Hanover, Germany. In March of 2018 he went to visit his pregnant fiancé and never made it.
There was no trace of him for six months and his family stated the police were not taking this case seriously at all.
In September a neighbor came over to complain of an awful smell coming from the families barn and offered to go check it out. What he found wasn't a dead animal like he thought, it was a decapitated corpse that had been there for months.

Arnold & Ruby had been dating since highschool and had known each other their entire life. They had a daughter in 1991 and seemed very happy in Lake Andes, South Dakota.
On December 12, 1992 Arnold, Ruby, and Ruby's 17-year-old cousin Tracy were driving in a car. After stopping at a stop sign they spun off the road, most likely due to all the ice, and ended up upside down in a ditch.
When Tracy looked around Arnold was not in the car and Ruby was slipping out of the car through a crack in the door. However, when Tracy tried to get to the door it was slammed shut. When police arrived neither Ruby nor Arnold were anywhere in the area.
For three months there was no sign of the two lovers. In March of 1993 two bodies were found just 75 feet from where the car crash took place months earlier. However, these two bodies had not been there for the three months before, so where were Ruby and Arnold until their bodies were found?

Ben McDaniel was an avid open water scuba diver. In the months leading up to his disappearance he was trying to get cave diver certified. He had recently got divorced, his brother who he was very close to died, and his construction business failed which put him in massive debt.
He took some time to live at his parent's vacation home in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with his beloved dog. During this time he did many, many dives at Vortex Springs, a well known diving place with a dangerous cave you can only dive in if you have your cave diving certification.
On August 18, 2010 he went for two dives in Vortex Springs and was going down to do another one when he saw some employees of the dive shop. Although Ben did not have his cave diving certification one of the employees let him through the locked gate within the cave. Two days later this employee came back to work and found that Ben's car still hadn't moved and no one had seen him.
Police were called in and world famous divers came to help search for Ben's body but nothing was found, not even an indication someone had been in the cave recently. Subsequent tests showed no indication of decomposition chemicals in the water and to this day Ben has never been found.

On February 24, 1978 5 mentally disabled but high functioning men set off to Chico, CA to see a UC Davis game. Their car would later be found 35 miles off course on an unpaved mountain road, somewhere they never would've gone. It would be about four months later when bodies finally started to be found but that wouldn't answer many questions within the case.
Police never believed the 4 men walked from where their car was found to where their bodies were found, so how did they get there?
It is also not certain the men were even in the car when abandoned, so who brought it to where it was found?
To this day Gary Mathias has never been found and it is unknown what the men went through in the months they were missing or how they eneded up like they did.

David Glenn Lewis was a prominant attorney in Amarillo, TX when he disappeared in 1993.
It was superbowl weekend and his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, were playing in the big game. He had stayed home to watch and record the game while his wife and daughter went for a weekend of shopping in Dallas.
When they returned home on January 31st (after being gone since January 28th) they found David nowhere but the TV was still recording although the game had ended, there was laundry in the dryer, and fresh food in the kitchen. For 10+ years no one knew what happened to David that day.
February 1st of 1993 (just a day after David went missing) a John Doe was found to be a victim of a hit and run accident 1600miles away in Yakima, WA.

Judy Smith was in Philidephia with her husband for a work conference of his in April of 1997 when she went missing and was later found over 600 miles away deceased from what is thought to be homicidal violence.
Judy had to take a seperate flight from her husband from Boston to Philadelphia due to forgetting her ID. Her ticket was used but no one on the plane remembered her.
Just a few hours after her husband she arrived at the hotel where the conference was being held and where she would be staying. The next morning her husband, Jeff, went to breakfast alone and left for the confrence while she was in the shower, she reportedly was going site seeing alone that day.
There were many sightings of someone looking like Judy that day but none were confirmed and there was a lookalike woman in the area.
However, when she didn't return to the hotel to go to a cocktail party with Jeff by 6pm, which she agreed to do, he got worried and started looking.
For months nothing was found but eventually a skeleton was found over 600 miles away that is thought to be Judy.

Stephanie Stewart was a 70 year old outdoors woman who worked as a fire lookout in Alberta, Canada. But she went missing under mysterious circumstances on August 26, 2006 and was presumed dead just the day after.
Stephanie was very active and loved her job. She was very responsible so it is said she wouldn't just up and leave her post. She lived in a cabin with a steel tower near by from April through September. She would go up into the steel tower everyday to look for signs of a wildfire in the very dense forest.
Although the forest was dense she wasn't in the middle of nowhere. She was only 8.5 miles from Hinton, Alberta and 3 miles from a main road, it was a very drivable place.
She last was spoken to on August 25th when she had a 9pm call with her daughter and by all accounts she sounded just fine. By 8am the next morning she wasn't answering her phone and eventually the phone was completley disconected.
Someone from the head office was sent out to check on her and what they would find would make this mystery all the more eerie.

Trenny Gibson disappeared from the Great Smokey Mountains National Park on October 8, 1976 when she was only 16 years old. She was 5'3", 115lbs, with brown hair and green eyes. She was wearing a blue blouse, a blue and white stripped sweater, jeans, and blue adidas shoes. She had also put on a orange/brown plaid jacket that she borrowed from her brother's friend Robert, he comes up in the case a lot.
Her class was on a trip to the national park with only one chaperone when she was seen ducking off the Clingman's Dome trail to the right and was never seen again. Many classmates have remained secretive & one is still in possesstion of her jewelry. There are many lose ends to this case that will not be wrapped up in this episode but I give over 10 theorie on what could've happened to her, let me know what you think!

5-year old Summer Moon-Utah Wells disappeared on June 15, 2021 at 6:32p.m. It is stated that she vanished from their 11 acre property without a trace and law enforcement stated as of April 2022 that they are no closer to finding her than they were when she disappeared.

Crystal Rogers was a loving mother of 5 in Bardstown, KY about 40 miles east of Louisville. Things had been looking up for her with her new boyfriend and she seemed happy but on July 3, 2015 she vanished without a trace.
Her car was found on Bluegrass parkway with the keys still in the ignition and her phone and purse inside. Although there were estensive searches immediately nothing has been found that can be linked to her disappearance. Her boyfriend at the time of her disappearance is the main and only suspect in her case. It is believed they are searching for a body at this point.
A little over a year after she disappeared her father was shot to death on his land in what looks like an assasination. Was he getting too close to finding out what happened to Crystal?
Two years before Crystal went missing a Bardstown Police Officer was shot and killed on his way home and many believe this is directly related to both Crystal's disappearance and her father's murder.

It is no secret that women are more likely to be killed by homicide than men. It is also no secret that generally their significant other is the one to kill them due to domestic dispute or violence. Charlotte Pollis was a loving mother of two who fell ill one night and traveled to the ER. She was confirmed to return home as she talked to her mother...but the next day she was nowhere to be found. Oliva Hope & Ben Smart had a wonderful start to the new year. Upon taking a water taxi back to the yacht they were supposed to stay on, they found out that all the beds had been taken. Getting back on the water taxi they were offered a place to sleep by an unknown male. When the driver dropped the group of three off nothing seemed out of place, but that was the last time Oliva & Ben were seen.

Dorothy Scott was a single mother when she began to have a man call her. In these calls he professed his love for her while also stating he intended to kill her even stating he was going to cut her up into little pieces so she wouldn't be found. Well, one night it seems he made true on his intent and kidnapped her from a hospital parking lot. For four years after her disappearance her mother received calls from this supposed killer, and then her body was found.

Gunther Stoll was a German food engineer who was unemployed at the time of his supposed murder. He often talked to his wife about, 'them', a group of people who was supposedly hunting him. He was later found naked and bloody in his car. His car had been in a car wreck but his injuries were more consistent with being ran over.

Tamla Horsford was found lying face down in the backyard of a friend. She had been there for a party the night before and was reportedly very intoxicated. The theory that police went with is that she jumped from a 16-foot balcony although the place her body was found would make no sense. The facts of the case line up more with a murder and a coverup.

This week I decided to do something a little different. I have taken two cases that I covered in a podcast I use to produce, put them together, and put them out for you. These episodes are not discoverable online due to me closing that other podcast but I wanted these cases to still be able to reach people. The first case is of DeOrr Kunz Jr. He was a toddler who went camping with his family, disappeared into thin air, and nothing of his has ever been found. Michael Palmer was 15 when he went missing while riding his bike on a quiet Alaskan road. He would never be found and to this day it is unknown what happened as rumors are flying around. His older brother, Charles Palmer was 30 when he went on a group trip to go snowmobiling and never made it back to their cabin after the first day. Many believe the only thing that could've happened to him was an alien abduction. Either way, this family suffered greatly through the years.

Tina Fontaine was 15 years old when extreme Child Services and Police neglect let to her disappearance and murder. However, the neglect had not started with her. Both of her parents had been unprotected by Child Services in their past and it seems that Tina was doomed from the start.
This is a case of a missing and murdered indigenous woman and I think that it is important to bring light to these cases. They are still not accurately represented in our society.

Karlie Guse went missing in 2018 after a paranoid and fearful night. It is suspected that she had laced marijuana or some kind of psychedelic drug but it was never confirmed. Her footprints were found on High 6 in California but that was the last trace of her.

Matrice Richardson was a beautiful and smart young woman who disappeared in the early morning hours of September 17th, 2009. For weeks before she disappeared she had been sending very cryptic messages to her mother and friends, no one knew what her messages meant or why she would send them. Later her body was found and many things would point towards homicide and police negligence but no charges have ever been filed.

This week I researched the Austin Yogurt Shop Murders because they were suggested to me on Instagram by @austinyogurtshopjustice. This is a case that needs media attention right now as there is no one in jail for it and they have DNA that has not matched anyone yet. This week I discussed the case of Kieron Horman he went missing at the age of seven and June 4, 2010. He has been missing for nine years six months and 18 days and his family is still hoping for a safe return. There is someone that seems like a very like the suspect in this case or like they kidnapped or hurt this little boy but the police are unable to arrest them on anything.

The first case we talk about is the case of Diana Lynn Harris she went missing in 1981. To this day her daughter is an advocate for her and working to figure out what happened, she believes it is related to drug smuggling. Many of the people in this case are also connected to the case of Tom stump disappearing. It seems that these two people ran in the same circles in both disappeared mysteriously.
