Episode 07

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me for Episode 07 of The Wedding Circle Podcast. Before I introduce you to my guests, I just wanted to let you all know that from now on you may notice the episodes are a little different in that it is just my voice (Sophie) that you hear! After lots of talking and decision making, April has decided to take a step back from hosting the podcast with me as her own business The Confectionery Lounge is really taking off and she needs to spend more time working on that. So I want to take this opportunity to thank April for everything she has done for The Wedding Circle so far and I wish her all the success in the world for her upcoming adventures with her business. And when you have a moment April, you must come back on as a guest!

Now onto Episode 07 and my latest interview. This was definitely an exciting moment for me as when I started out with the idea of creating a wedding podcast, I knew this powerhouse couple just had to be a part of it. They stood out to me from the moment I saw their work and I think you will agree, they really do know weddings. This entire episode is full of advice, tips and tricks from the moment we start chatting to the very end of our conversation.

I am so excited to bring to the podcast, Richard and Christine from Kazooieloki Photography. Not only do they capture incredible photos they will have you in stitches the entire day, these two are all about fun, laughs, highs and lows and will photograph real moments as they really happen.

What I love about Richard and Christine is their commitment to their couples, as Richard says in the episode, they really do invest time into their clients, to get to know them on a personal level and so many of their couples become lifelong friends.

So sit tight, grab a coffee and enjoy this conversation!

If you want to see some of the incredible work by Kazooieloki you can find them on Instagram and Facebook or head to their website.

Thank you to everyone for the listens, shares, comments and likes. I really am so grateful for every person that has enjoyed our episodes. It may just be me that you hear from now on but please do not worry, I still have a whole host of amazing guests to bring you and a huge backlog of incredible weddings to blog and share with you.

Thanks again and see you next time!

Episode 06

Welcome back to another episode of The Wedding Circle, we’re now on episode 06 and we are so thrilled to be bringing you our conversation with an absolute gem of a guest. Not only did she win the top spot for her region, she then went on to bag the crown for the entire UK, so its safe to say she knows a thing or two about her industry!

I feel it would now be appropriate to say “please put your hands together for…” So… join me as we applaud and welcome, Kelly Hanks Hair Design!

It’s clear from chatting to Kelly that she is one of the most down to earth and truly passionate hair stylists in the wedding industry, and I am pretty sure you will all agree with me when I say she’s the sort of person you could sit and chat to over a hot coffee and a muffin, for hours on end. Anyone that manages to book Kelly as their hair stylist for their wedding day, is in for a real treat.

If you want to see Kelly’s work (and why wouldn’t you!) then you can find her on Instagram and Facebook or head to her website.

As always, we are so grateful to you all for listening and supporting the podcast. Im sure you have heard me say many times but please do head to iTunes, Spotify and Youtube and leave us a review, comment and subscribe so that we can reach more and more couples planning their special day.

Episode 05

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us for Episode 05 of The Wedding Circle. For this conversation we are stepping into the world of luxury wedding videography with award winning, and pretty darn incredible, wedding videographer Stef from Lincolnshire Videography. Stef is an utter professional and total perfectionist when it comes to capturing your big day, and as you will hear from the episode he takes every step of filming incredibly seriously. From the planning and getting to know you as a couple to shooting those stand out moments that you will want to re-live over and over again.

As the name suggests Stef is based in Lincolnshire but travels all over the UK and beyond, so whether you’re getting married within 5 miles or 5000 miles I am sure Stef would love to hear from you.

You can find Stef on Instagram and Facebook or head to his website to get in touch.

And finally we cannot thank you all enough for the support and amazing feedback you have given us on the launch of The Wedding Circle. Every listen, every review and message makes the world of difference to us and helps us to reach more and more couples who are planning their dream weddings.

We’re also on the hunt for couples that have had to postpone their weddings due to Covid19, so if this is you and you fancy popping on (remotely of course) to The Wedding Circle podcast for a chat and to answer questions about your rescheduling then please get in touch!

Episode 04

We are back with another Episode of The Wedding Circle, and this episode marks a very important step in our podcasting career as we have recorded our very first interview! With the one and only Natalie Kate Makeup artist. We contacted Natalie back when The Wedding Circle was just a tiny seed of an idea as we knew Natalie would be the perfect guest on the show. She is a true expert in her field, she has a wonderful reputation as a bridal makeup artist and we know how much she loves the industry. We really hope you enjoy listening and that we manage to answer a few questions you may have if you are looking for your perfect bridal makeup artist.

If you are interested in seeing some of Natalie’s incredible work, we have some beautiful made up faces below for you to browse, but you can of course find her on Instagram and Facebook or head to her website to see more of what Natalie creates.

Again we are so grateful for every listener and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on this journey. We want to reach as many Brides & Grooms to be as possible so we would be eternally grateful if you could pop over to wherever you listen to the podcast, leave us a review and share with your friends and family.

If you want to get in touch, we love hearing from you all so please do pop us an email or drop us a message on social media.

Lots of love, Sophie & April x

Episode 03

Hi everyone, thank you so much for tuning into Episode 3 of The Wedding Circle, we really hope you enjoyed the episode. Before delving into the wonderful world of wedding suppliers, venues, inspirational shoots etc. we thought we would start with something a little closer to home.

April came up with the idea of interviewing me as a newlywed so I could tell you more about my wedding and the behind the scenes of planning our day, the best bits, and what I would do differently if I were to do it again.

If you listened to the Episode and wish to look at our photos you can find the whole wedding here in our blog. I really hope you find some inspiration from them, our day was by no means a traditional wedding day but it was beautiful, intimate, relaxed and filled with so much love (and food)… just what we wanted.

Episode 01

Our first ever episode and we certainly didn't think we would be starting out talking about Coronavirus, but we couldn't exactly ignore this worldwide pandemic and the affect it has had on the Wedding industry for both Brides, Grooms and wedding suppliers.
