The tender space between joy and pain, that's the place where we must learn to live and balance - and find our grace.
We’ve been given love, power, strength and a sound mind to guard our hearts. Fear can’t win.
While each day has its own troubles, we don’t have to live worried about tomorrow, or any of the other days to come.
Speak even if your voice shakes because the only thing worse than a shaky voice, is to have no voice at all.
Sometimes we tell ourselves lies, and we clothe ourselves in heaviness.
Don’t get stuck in your pain places.
Sometimes our life things lay in piles on the floor and we think we’ll never put them back together again. But there He is, holding out just what we need.
While it may not see like it, waiting seasons can be the place where you walk out the steps you need for the very thing you are waiting for.
We allcould be a little kinder to ourselves, and maybe when we offer grace to ourselves – it’s easier to extend it to others too.
In the middle of all the uncertainty around us, I keep thinking about growth. Flourishing life and an abundant harvest. A purpose that can even be found in the pears.
More than ever how we see is important, and how we view the world matters.
Sometimes we need to take out our lenses, give them a good scrub and adjust our vision.
All your moments matter, so don’t wish them away. Be prepared to set them down when you must, and then pick up the new ones and keep on going. Each moment is a gift, wrapped up in grace.
Sometimes I can’t help but think about what we’ve left behind. Not just old houses and barns but things we’ve started to build in our lives. Our hopes, dreams and aspirations. Then maybe something happened and we walked away, leaving everything scattered on the ground. But, there is always hope in abandoned places.
It might not be as easy as saying good-bye to an old t-shirt that you haven’t worn in 20 years, but it is possible to let go of anything that is taking up too much room in your life.
There’s always a space for grace.
