Take a look inside your looking glass and tell me what do you see?
When I look in mine I see a woman who has battled with inner demons which hasnt always been successful; a person who has hated herself, wished her life away and feels a failure. A woman who had struggled with her own mind, sometimes having euphoric highs with crashing lows, having to crawl out of the hole of darkness wrestling with her rationales of life.
I also see a woman who has become strong, learning to try and love herself for who she is and is accepting of others. Not to sympathise with them but empathises and can give back support to those who need it with understanding and gratitude. Its time to open our minds and bring mental health to the forefront of discussions.
For many years I have struggled with my own mental health and diagnosis; Join me on this personal journey of my ups, down, and inspiration of living withinside my head and the affects it has had on my family, work, relationship and life.
