On this episode of the podcast, we speak to Angel Tai, a trilingual solicitor, about her experience studying law as an international student in Australia - including her motivations for leaving a “footprint” outside her home country of Malaysia, and for seeking other cultures as well as learning from them.
Angel also speaks about her struggles as an international student, her transition from university to full-time work including how she handles making mistakes and learning on the job.
We also explore the theme of how creating communities and networks have helped Angel succeed as a young lawyer, what she’s learnt during lockdown, and what hobbies she would like to try out next.
