Unlocking Your Inner Strength is about finding your inner and outer strengths. Learn how you can step into your greatness. This show blends Mind Mapping, philosophy and a lifetime of being a strength coach and bodybuilder.
Many, many years ago, I discovered a man named Elliott Hulse. Elliott is somewhat of a legend and he even Coached me for a while back in 2010.
As destiny would have it, he came onto my podcast last week and boy, let me tell you, this is going to blow your mind.
Elliott has lived quite the life and has been a pioneer in the field of self-development for quite some time.
He has over 2 million followers on social media and this conversation is one that I could charge a lot of money that people would happily pay.
You can follow Elliott on YouTube and see all that he's got going on at elliotthulse1.

If you are expecting a result tomorrow, you are going to be disappointed.
I believe this is a kick start for the chaos I have been predicting for a number of years now.
Realize that this is a not a left v right fight, that's what the powers that be want you to buy into.
Listen in for my predictions about what will happen in the short term and what will happen over the next 6 months.

I remember as a kid when Freddy Kreuger captured my mind.
I was terrified yet fascinated.
As time went on, my brothers and our neighborhood gang would fantisize about who would win a battle, Freddy or Jason (from Friday the 13th).
A couple of decades later, they came out with the movie.
In today's episode, I give you my top horror movies, top horror characters and some Mind Mapping of how and why Halloween became a staple in my house.

Time travel.
This has a few meanings when it comes to this episode. One, I am writing this before I have my conversation with the infamous Alabama gunslinger, Lane Bullger.
And it’s damn near impossible to predict what we will talk about in terms of conspiracies, worldy events and the health industry.
But I can tell you that I am putting on my list the concept of time travel, most notably something from a book that was written over 100 years ago that has mirrored damn near exactly what is going on now, down to the specific names of people.
In addition, I will reference many things from the long standing cartoon, the Simpsons, that were foreshadowed long before they actually happened, including the helicopter death of one of my favorite people, Kobe Bryant.
I will also go into one more BIG conspiracy that I don’t talk about often, because it tends to melt minds that aren’t ready to hear it.
In addition, we get on a role talking about fatherhood and the patterns we repeat and the legacy we will leave behind as fathers.

How often have you thought about creating a better life?
Yet, nothing seems to change...
It's common at some point in life for everyone.
Some overcome that limiting conviction that life is not in their control and go onto great success.
Others stay stuck, thinking that repeating Ground Hog day will some result in a different outcome.
I assure you that it won't!
Tune into today's episode to hear some fresh insights on mindset and why trying to live a balanced life is a recipe for mediocrity, which is the worst thing in the world in my opinion.
P.S. If you live locally or want to travel, I am having a Mindset Seminar at our Hillsborough gym on Wednesday, October 23rd from 7-8 PM. In today's episode, I chat with my buddy Coach Lane Bulger from Alabama. Lane is a great man and has a very great way of looking at the world.
When we team up, you are getting a sneak peak as to what a conversation is like between two students that have strong mindsets.
You can be the fly on the wall with this conversation and I hope you are able to take one thing away from it.
The main thing is, be prepared, run scenarious through your head, so when or if they do happen, you already have a predetermined response.
Remember, we want to stay out of the reaction mode and stay in the response mode.

I’m a maverick of sorts…
So I’ve been told.
It’s that mentality though that has put me on my quest for endlessly figuring out what works when it comes to weight loss, health and becoming the best version of yourself.
In today’s episode, I talk about:
-Why your thyroid isn’t the issue
-Why counting calories is a fools game
-Why using cardio for fat loss is nonsensical
And then a whole bunch more.
You are a great person, your weight loss has nothing to do with your self-esteem.

Chaos is upon us.
We are less than two months away to the election.
Here is what I think are some possibilities.
Take it for what it's worth.
This is a battle of good versus evil.

If you want to learn how to think differently and get on a new path, shoot me a text, 908-229-6666. I leave one 15 minute slot open on my schedule each week.
‘Kyle, Neil died…’
I was 7 years old, had just moved to NJ and my mom told me that a friend from our old neighborhood died of an aneurysm.
I was in shock.
Literally, I ran from my bedroom to the back patio in uncontrollable tears.
Death was now a real thing to my young fragile mind.
And although I can bring myself right back to that time and the next 4 years where I cried daily over the thought of death, it was one of the greatest things that could have happened to me.
It allowed me to make FEAR an illusion.
I wasn’t controlled by the government during COVID because I didn’t have fear of what they were instilling in the minds of the masses ... .fear this because it can kill you.
Fear will make you do some crazy things.
In this week’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I break down what fear is and my approach to fear and some other philosophical ideas it brings to my mind.
This Might Break Your Brain
When’s the last time that you questioned some sacred dogma?
Have you ever thought about why you’ve been told what you’ve been told?
Does your gut tell you that there’s got to be more to the story?
Part of my mission is freeing people’s minds, which usually begins with taking control of their health and starting on a fasting journey.
Once you crossover, your mind starts to open up.
With that in mind, in today’s podcast, I go deep into some of the suppression of knowledge that we have been under.
Maybe I am wrong about much of this or ALL of it. But it’s fun for me to think about.
If you want to stay in your safe bubble and live by the thought of ignorance being bliss, DO NOT LISTEN!!!!

A few weeks ago, I turned 43. In honor of that, I wrote my latest August newsletter that got mailed out this week, on 43 insights that came to mind from my time here on earth.
This was written with my children reading them and using them one day, so I didn’t hold back.

How to Recover from Any Injury
I’ve been fortunate enough to suffer two of the worst knee injuries on record.
Yes, I said fortunate. There’s always a silver lining.
After dealing with them and other injuries throughout the years, I learned the principles of healing 100%.
Methods are many, principles are few.
I remember reading the first book on mindset that I ever read way back during my sophomore or junior year of high school.
I had already had a certain type of mindset, but I wanted to cultivate it and to make better.
Winners use a certain type of language and have a certain pattern of thinking.
All patterns can be copied, all habits are just patterns.
Patterns run your life.
In today’s episode, I go over the ‘Tree of Your Mind’ and the Champion’s Mindset. Be sure to take the 10-12 minutes to listen, it’ll give you a great ROI, I promise.

Recently, I was on a podcast with my buddy Lane Bullger from Alabama. A couple of weeks ago, we did part 1 and there was so much more that we had to still cover that we did a part 2.
Now, you might be thinking you aren’t interested, and that’s fine.
But realize that there is a very real conspiracy against your health and you becoming the healthiest, fittest version of yourself.
We also happen to cover Elon Musk, the fake alien invasion, the next moves in the political arena (it’s all theater), putting muscle on while fasting, 48 or 72’s, which is better for fat loss and so much more.
Two weeks ago, a good buddy of mine was in for our Mastermind meeting.
Joe Hashey is a rare breed, one of those men that have an indomitable mindset.
There aren’t too many people that I look up to with mindset because I’ve studied it so much and put myself through the ringer to continue to grow my mind.
Joe is an exception though. He is doing 100 mile races, holds one of the world records for the famous Manitou Incline climb out in Colorado where he lives, held the world pull up record, briefly, after he did 4100 or so on his 40th birthday.
We snuck away on lunch break to a back room to record this and it was something I have been wanting to get out to you for a while, because we can all learn from him, myself included.
In this episode, we cover:
And so much more.
You can follow Joe on Instagram at Jhashey1 and you can check out his podcast and book at https://strongfamilyproject.com/
I got together for part 1 of a 2 part series with my buddy Lane Bulger of Bulger Fitness down in Alabama.
Every time we talk we get into some lively topics.
In this episode, we talk about the attempted assassination attempt on President Trump and my thoughts may surprise you. Remember, whatever the MSM is telling you is not the truth, always start from that premise.
After we had some fun with that, we talked about:
-Breathatarians and if it’s possible to just live on air alone
-TMS and how darn near all chronic ailments can be solved with this knowledge
And a lot more.
You are going to need a notepad for this one.

Last week, I put out a reel on my IG that got the Shake Oil Salesmen and Women coming at me in full force.
Which is a good thing. I know that whenever I hit a nerve, I am on to something.
But it also got me to thinking about digestive health and fasting.
In today’s episode, I break down WHY:
-Farting isn’t cool or normal (although sometimes funny, haha)
-Your crap shouldn’t stink to high heavens
-You shouldn’t use shakes or blend your fruit if you really want to get the most out of my Panda Diet
-Digestion is the key indicator to what’s really going on with your health

Ever since I was little, I loved hypothetical situations.
And I am the king at asking those types of questions.
In today’s episode of ULYIS, I breakdown my dream sports team that I would choose to save the world from demonic forces. Of course MJ is at the top of my list, but who else?
There might be a few people you don’t expect.
Who would your team be?

My Craziest Conspiracy Theories
I remember as a kid talking with my grandfather, Leo, about aliens, giant squid, bigfoot, and more.
I was just grateful that I had someone to talk with about that stuff.
In today’s episode, I go over my thoughts on:
-What I think BigFoot is and why it’s kept so hidden
-My views on the heliocentric earth vs. flat earth
-The moon landing
-Dinosaurs and dragons
And more.
If you don’t want to have your cage rattled, you are going to want to skip this one.

One question that I get asked often is where the Panda Man came from.
Some people want to know the origins of the name.
Some want to know the history of the character, the business.

It’s been too long since I have done a silliness report, about all the silly and crazy things going on in the world that most people are not aware of.
Why would they not be aware? Because, the MSM doesn’t tell you about what they don’t want you to focus on.
Fortunately for you, I stay up on all this stuff, not because I have fear, but because I find it fascinating and I want to have a pattern in my mind of what may be coming, just like I did with COVID.
There’s a reason I had the courage to open up despite the Governor’s orders to shut me down.
Anyhow, dive in, catch up and if you aren’t ready to think differently, don’t listen.

Just the other day, a client messaged me asking if the initial weight lost was water or fat and why it rebounded.
This is a very common concern and one that I will clear up simply for you in today’s episode of ULYIS.
Fat loss is a simple process when it isn’t made overly complicated by the Fake Fitness Experts.
In today’s episode, I go over such things as:
-squishy fat
-how water weight and fat loss relate
-the most effective fat loss training protocol
-fat is energy… so much to unpack here

Panda's Guide to Fasting
Today’s episode I have a special guest, my good buddy Joe Riggio for a conspiracy theory episode.
We discuss the biggest conspiracies and talk about fasting and the conspiracy of the establishment keeping you unhealthy.
This is about level one conspiracies, stay tuned for level 2…coming soon!
If you've been lifting for any amount of time, there is no doubt that you've been told the wrong things, at least partially wrong.
When you want to pack on size, you need to remember that your training stimulus is of primary importance.
In today's episode, I go over:
-Why protein is overrated, You do not need as much as you've been told
-Why bulking is a stupid game to play, and how my fasting approach allows clients to put on muscle!
-Why training is the think that is often overlooked when people want to put on size, they always want to focus on food and being in a surplus. That is NOT the primary factor, unless you want to just pack on fat.

4 years ago, I made the decision to stand true to my values and open our gym in spite of the government. I didn't believe in this sham from the get go and I can be quite stubborn headed.
This made for the perfect moment in my history to live out my values in a very strange and surreal time.
Today, I go over the behind the scenes story of how our decision led to the national spotlight and how we won against the government.

My Time With Mark Bell Last Week
Last week, Devon and I flew out to Sacramento so I could appear on Mark Bell’s world famous show: The Power Project.
It was something that I had visualized often and it came as no surprise to me that my thoughts manifested.
I have always liked and respected Mark’s open, honest and intelligent approach to health and fitness.
Plus, he’s a heck of a successful entrepreneur!
In today’s episode, I break down the trip, the memories, the behind the scenes, fly on the wall, look at everything.
And I will be sure to post the show once it’s released.
I started using testosterone over a decade ago after competing as a natural bodybuilder for many years.
And it has been a game changer!
Let’s be clear, TRT is the same thing as anabolic steroids and PEDs.
Another hot topic that people have been requesting I talk about is Ozempic. If you want to know what I think about it, listen up!
In today’s episode, I go over all the benefits, risks and clarify some issues on the topic.
PS- I am taking on 5 new clients, shoot me a message if you want to have a chat! 908-229-6666
In today’s episode I teach you about the most underrated form of exercise that nearly everyone can do, with few exceptions.
Jesus did it constantly.
Einstein was notorious for it.
Steve Jobs came up with his greatest ideas while doing this.

In today’s episode, I bring back a fan favorite: conspiracy theories and how what I’ve been teaching for decades can help you survive Armageddon.
My video crew recently asked me what I am really passionate about these days, and this is it. I study this and do my research. If you have been living inside a box or haven’t broken free from the Matrix, then this should help you in that regard.
It’s time to connect the dots.
Last Friday, I had a great Coaching call with a friend and client from Missouri, Isaac.
We went down the rabbit hole on a bunch of different things, much of which is too much to share here.
But one of the topics we got to talking about was Jesus, vibrational energy and how God builds us up.
Isaac made the great analogy of God being a Silversmith. If you hold the spoon or ladle over the fire too long, it gets ruined.
The struggles you are having is the flame. You are the silver, God is putting you through exactly what you need to go through to become the best version of yourself.
Struggle is essential.
I recorded a short podcast for you on my thoughts around this topic. If you feel stuck, frustrated and anxious about where you are at in your life at this moment, then take a listen, I think it will bring you some comfort.
P.S. - If you are interested in how I can transform your life, head on over to www.pandamanofficial.com and check out some of my books and Coaching options!
People that succeed set goals.
People that don't succeed set goals.
Goals are not the differentiating factor when it comes to succeeding.
So, what is the answer? In today's episode I break it all down.
Your path is the answer, the process.
And remember, the purpose of setting any goal is to increase your level of happiness.
Always check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Pascal Bachman, a man that is currently 80 or so days into a 100 day fast!
Yes, you read that right!
And, while I love fasting, I have no visions of doing a 100 day fast. So the next best way for me to learn about something of that magnitude was to interview someone that is doing it.
In the episode, we go over blood work, mindset, sleep and performance when in the depths of a really long fast.
‘Your intention determines the result’ - Pascal
Last weekend, we went up to Mt. Washington to attempt to climb it for the 4th year in a row.
Our crew has grown up to 14 men, ALL who want to challenge themselves.
Is it what I felt like doing? Of course not, it would be so much easier to have a lazy Saturday at home (what’s that like???).
As usual, there were many lessons learned, many insights gained. When you put yourself into a corner, where it feels like you are up against the world’s heavy weight champ, your mind has no other option but to go inward.
It’s a meditative experience, any type of serious challenge. That’s the beauty of it.
We are living through perilous times, Biblical times, in my humble but accurate opinion.
I love studying this stuff and have a very good intuition when it comes to what is going on.
Love me or hate me, I was 100% right with everything I said about Covid from the very start of it.
In today’s episode, I break down some of what I think is going on, what is going to happen and why I have this month and April marked as ‘high alert and readiness’ months.
Things aren’t going back to the way they were before all of this kicked off, so mind as well get your mind ready and prepared.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Kelly Siegel of ‘Harder than Life’.
His story is amazing and everything he touches turns to a success.
Kelly lives an extremely disciplined life, is at the gym every morning at 5 AM, following his morning journaling and meditation and even gave up booze back in 2019, for good!
Kelly has been on quite the journey and as he says, ‘Is the ultimate student’. I walked away with notes for personal use, ordered his book right away and joined his private app, he was that good!
If your past is holding you back, then listen to Kelly’s story of childhood abuse and neglect and how he was able to use it to transform his life.
Some of the other things we go over include:
-Our favorite superheroes and why….
-Favorite WWE wrestlers…
-The GOAT of bodybuilding….
-And an amazing way to leverage every single book that you read.
I walked away from this interview buzzing! Kelly’s energy is contagious and he is creating a movement.
You can search Harder than Life for both his book and app. And definitely give him a follow on IG at kelly.siegel.71

Late last week, I had an interview with a top level longevity doctor, Akash Bajaj, from out on the west coast.
We talked about a lot of stuff, mindset, hormones and what he does to help his patients and clients live better, more vibrant lives.
And he’s got a really cool story that he tells at the beginning about how he was literally a witness to the twin towers coming down on 9/11 and being a first responder on the scene.
Amazing stuff!

Being that today is Valentine’s Day, I figured I would share our little love story with you on today’s show.
As with anything, there are lessons embedded and the top students will always be able to pull those lessons out and apply them to their own lives.
Patterns were the reason we found each other and patterns were why I tried to break up with her. Take a listen and you will understand why.
Last week, I had a great talk with my friend from Alabama, Layne.
We had been wanting to do a podcast for a while, and the timing eventually worked out.
In this episode, we go over why fasting is the #1 thing you should put in your toolbox if and when SHTF.
We also go over our views and thoughts on what is going on in the world and a few predictions.
That might not be your cup of tea, no hard feelings if that’s the case.
If you like this episode and want to hear more of them like this, let me know!
You can check Layne on and get in touch with him through is Instagram @lanebullger
And if you haven't gotten your copy of my FREE book, loaded to the gills with fasting information and my methods, then all you have to do is go here: FREE BOOK

Last week, I had the pleasure of having renowned functional medicine Doctor, Tim Jackson, on my show.
Tim and I have a deep interest in each other’s work, in fact, I was on his show back in the fall to talk about all things fasting.
We go into a lot of very interesting things in this episode, including gut health, the quality of the air you breathe and how to make sure your mitochondria is functioning at their peak.
You are, afterall, only as healthy as your mitochondria say you are.
I know that from all my fasting and cold tub therapy that my mitochondria have become younger. We go into it in more depth and I think you will find some stuff that you can put to use right away.
Don't forget to leave a review if you like what I am doing, it helps me out a lot!
And in case you didn't get my FREE book, which has the potentional to totally transform you LIFE, you can get it here: FREE FASTING BOOK
When one of my great friends and mentors, Sweet Lou, asked me to out to Ohio with him this past week, I had no idea how busy of a week I was going to have.
But, as my schedule filled in over the months since he asked me, I realized that it was going to be ‘a lot’.
I had just gotten back from South Carolina and quickly had to turn around the next morning, train, hang with the kids for an hour before school and then back off to another airport.
On the way, we were just about there when we found out our flight was canceled.
I told Devon that it looked like with the snow we wouldn’t be going.
Well, we did wind up going and it was awesome.
In today’s episode, I start off by telling you about our Odyssey to get out to Ohio and some of my key takeaways from the fellow men and pastors.
This one will hit you with a lot and hopefully it causes you pause and reflection. Take what is useful for you at this moment and discard the rest.
Way back in 1997, I went to the library to take out a book.
Imagine.
Now I have about 3 books delivered to the house each week, ha!
What was the book? It was a book by Dr. Dennis Waitley, I don’t recall the name of it.
It was about visualization.
Odd book for a teenager, no?
Well, that really set me on to tapping into the power of the mind and it’s something that I have been studying and applying ever since.
In today’s episode, I share with you some of the key experiences and moments in my life that have helped me to develop my Mind.
P.S. - If you would like a FREE copy of one of my best books, go here: https://thepandamanofficial.berserkermail.com/The%20Panda%20Man%E2%80%99s%20Ultimate%20NO%20B.S.%20Guide%20to%20Fasting
The week before Christmas, I had a great interview with my new friend, Dr. Dean Jones of Colorado Medical solutions.
Dean had reached out a while back because he saw some of my videos and wanted to connect with another true practitioner of long form fasting.
You see, many talk, but don’t walk. Or at least don’t ‘walk it’ very often.
And we had both helped literally hundreds upon hundreds of direct students and clients.
In this episode we go deep on so many things that you would be curious about regarding fasting, including:
-peptides and all the rage about Ozempec
-Inflammation and insulin resistance
-Calories in vs. calories out, BS
If you’d like to get a copy of Dr. Dean’s amazing book, shoot a text to 720-465-1200 and he will send you over a FREE e-copy! You can follow him @coloradomedicalsolutions on IG too!

Back in 2008/09, I hired my first personal Coach.
I was very intrigued by his approach to training as well as cycle diets, since it aligned with the path that I was on but he was decades ahead of me in experience.
Truth be told, what really drew me to him was his approach to the mind, body, spirit connection.
The training was just icing on the cake.
In fact, one of his books, ‘Your Truth is Calling: Connecting the Dots to Self-Awareness’, is still one of if not the best self-development book I’ve ever read.
In today’s episode, I share with you the top 3 things I learned from Scott and how I have implemented them into my life and how you can do the same.
P.S. - If you decide my show is worthy, please leave a solid review. And if you take a screenshot and text it over to me at 908-229-6666, I will mail you out a FREE gift!

I remember back to when I was competing and trying to balance a life alongside that.
I would bring tupperware everywhere with me and if wasn’t a cheat day, I WAS NOT fun to go out with.
I missed far too many moments trying to ‘stick with my diet’.
It was silly.
I learned a lot, but I now try to FREE people from that type of mindset and that prison of dieting.
In today’s episode, I go over Mind Mapping, how to navigate the holidays with fasting and some of the deeper benefits of fasting as well as hormones involved.
It’s an awesome episode!

It’s hard to believe that it was already a week ago that I was down in Houston preparing for a presentation to AAM, a large financial institution.
Believe it or not, I had speaking on a large scale stage like that on my vision for 2023.
Dreams do become a reality, when you take the time to invest your energy into them.
So, what did I learn from my talk?
A lot! And I am not really talking about the content of which I spoke, although I learn that stuff deeper each time I teach too.
I am talking about my trip, my mental preparation, what I did or didn’t do to get into the proper mindset.

What I Believe About Marketing
I began studying training back in 1997.
I opened my business officially in 2007.
In 2007, I began studying marketing.
To the point that I have probably invested more time, energy and money learning marketing than I have training or nutrition.
It’s a passion of mine, because of how much psychology is involved.
Seriously, I read a good sales letter like most guys look at porn or IG models. I get jacked about reading good sales copy.
You may be thinking, ‘What is sales copy?’ or you may be thinking, ‘YES, another marketing nerd!’.
Either way, I think you’ll like this episode and get some cool stuff out of it.
A lot of people have been coming to me more and more for things like marketing, so I figured I will start sprinkling this type of stuff in.

You rock!
25 plus years ago, I fell in love with strength training.
Even at that point, I was on a never ending quest to learn the true ‘Secrets’ of strength.
And if I’ve learned one thing, it’s that there are no secrets.
There’s a better way to do things, an optimal way, especially if your goal is to have your strength and fitness carry over to everyday life, and why wouldn’t that be your goal? Unless you were a professional bodybuilder.
In today’s podcast, I give you the lowdown on insider training wisdom that I’ve accumulated over the past 25 years.
Take what is useful and discard the rest.

A couple of weeks ago, I spent a half day with my long-time Coach, Vince. Vince has been Coaching me for over a decade.
It’s rare to have a Coaching relationship that lasts that long, but he always gives me insight and stuff to reflect upon.
Anyhow, one of the things that we were going over was how to best utilize my days. I have 4 businesses in addition to the most important duty of being Father and Husband.
People often ask me how I manage, so in this episode I go over the recent tweaks to make sure I am being as efficient as possible. I am sure you will pick something up here to put to use.
In addition, it’s been a while since I did a ‘Silliness Report’, so there’s some of that in here too, including the new UN Lockdowns, Bill Gates buying up ‘all’ the farmland and the SpaceX rocket failing for the 2nd time.
P.S. - If you are interested in making 2024 the best year of your LIFE, then start NOW. All the lights will never be green. IF you’d like a free session or two to see how you fit at Newell Strength, simply reply to this email.
P.P.S. - I am sneaking in one more small, as in number of students, Panda Challenge before 2024. Actually, it will run into the first few weeks, but why wait until 24 to make the BIG change? Anyhow, I have 3 spots remaining as of this message (can’t guarantee there will be any left by the time you read this). You can text me if you’re interested, 908-229-6666
About a year ago, I set the goal to run my first marathon.
The jury is out if it’s a one and done. I know better than to make that decision while in a state of euphoria and fatigue. For now, I am just being.
In today’s episode of ULYIS, I go over the lessons learned and the stories made from training for my first marathon to competing in my first marathon.
I am sure you will find something useful in here.
And, if you leave a review (help a brother out:)), and let me know, I will send you a gift in the mail.
P.S. - If you want to learn, in depth, what I teach with the fasting and feasting portion of my Panda Method, then you are assuredly going to want to get a copy of my best selling book, the Panda Diet, while you still can. I remember watching the movie, Cop Land, back in the day. I took an interest because I am a big Stallone fan and it was really the first time I had heard of an actor intentionally packing on fat for a role.
With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to let you in on how I would get yourself or myself ready for a role of being a fat guy and also getting in tip top shape, under a deadline.
There’s many lessons in this episode, so take notes and apply what is relevant and useful.
By the way, I am trying to get my reviews on ITunes higher, so if you leave an awesome review, let me know and I will send you out a gift or two, via the good old USPS.

While on my 13 mile run last week, I stopped for a few walking breaks and on those breaks I decided to record what was on my mind.
I always find it cool and interesting to record while my mind is in an altered state, such as right after or during an intense workout or while driving and my mind is occupied.
In this episode, I speak about specific adaptations to imposed demands, when it comes to training, Shoegate and the Ron DeSantis controversy over his actual height and more in the world of conspiracy.
Lastly, I speak about the truth as I know it, developed through Direct Knowledge, not some shiny new textbook. I think this is super important, more and more as people have lost the ability to think critically, especially when it comes to logic and fitness.
And, if you leave a solid review, text it over to me and I will either ship you out a free copy of my book or a blue Panda hat, whichever you like (908-229-6666).

We first ran Ripped Dads back in 2014. I remember being so pumped to get so many dads out for the program.
It proved to be a LIFE changer from the outset.
And since that time, my perspective has grown a lot, being a father myself.
In today’s episode, I lay out the new curriculum that I’ve put together for the Ripped Dads weekly lesson.
These areas are essential in my opinion if you want to become a better man, a fantastic father, a Ripped Dad.

As I was sitting in the sauna last week, a few thoughts popped into my head.
The thoughts led to a brief conversation in my head.
Which led to me sitting down and recording a podcast for you. All within the span of 30 minutes. That is just an example of thinking differently that you can access at anytime.
In this particular episode, I give a few examples from my own life of thinking differently including opening up despite COVID lockdowns, publicly, to national news; taking a walk-on student athlete and making him proficient in a week, how would one go about doing that? And more, including why trying to raise your testosterone levels naturally is a fool's game.
PLUS….I am doing something new to get more reviews on my ITunes. Whoever leaves the best review this week will win a FREE Blue Panda Hat, that I will ship out directly to you! DM me once you’ve left the review.
Last week, I sat down for my second interview and podcast with famous TV personality and superwoman, Barb Majeski.
The first time we did it over Zoom, which was cool. I felt elevated and I knew that I could learn a lot from Barb.
This time, being in her presence, she is a beast!
Her mindset about achievement and success is world class. She doesn’t have everything she wants ‘YET’. Key word here.
We talk about the mindset of flying first class and also flying on your own private jet. Which if you think is materialistic, you are missing the point, it's a MINDSET!
Barb talks about not having ocean front property, YET (she does own a beautiful home down the shore already), but she asks the people that have the beachfront homes how they got there.
You can follow Barb on social media at barbaramajeski and keep an eye out for her new book coming out. She also has a phenomenal challenge that begins Nov. 1 that I will personally be doing. You can find more info out at www.themorelifecollective.com.
In today’s episode of the ULYIS podcast, I have some questions for you men out there.
How often are you telling your son or daughter that you love them and that you are proud of them?
Do you carve out specific time for them?
Did you father ever tell you that he loved you and was proud of you?
What does it mean to be a man and father?
This is stuff that has been on my mind and I believe it will help all you men out there.
And of course, I mix in a little conspiracy theory.
Two weeks ago, we took a road trip up to Connecticut to give our first seminar on a national circuit.
Who’s we? Me, my great friend BK from Chicago and the Turkish Ok, one of the masterminds behind the up and coming media company, Has Media.
Well, you can’t let a good opportunity go to waste and I believe in leveraging my time, so we decided to record an episode of ULYIS on the drive up there.
We chat about many things in this off the cuff, behind the scenes conversation, including how this whole speaking tour came to be, why shame can be useful in a transformation, but you shouldn’t be the one making a person feel that shame and so much more.
By the way, if you're interested in learning about why diets suck and they never work, then check out my upcoming Panda Diet Challenge, there's nothing else like it. https://panda.newellstrength.com/register
I cannot tell you how many times in the past few years, while having casual conversations, people have said to me, ‘This can’t be real’.
What were they referring to?
Worldly events.
Stuff that people are usually oblivious to, but that my endlessly curious mind cannot help but research and explore.
Reality is indeed often stranger than fiction.
In today’s episode, I talk about corrupt politicians and what that means for you, real life Terminator robots, Elon Musk's satellite trains, testosterone and much more! Never know where it’s going to go once I get on a rant!
As you read this, I am on the way up to Connecticut or shortly will be to give the first seminar in a series on a speaking tour my great friend Brandon and I will be doing this year.
And no doubt, I am listening to a replay of a recent podcast I did with two of the world’s greatest fighters, Mickey Gall of the UFC and future UFC champ, LJ Reboli.
We went over the mindset of a gladiator, training, success and they even hit me with some well thought out questions. Pretty cool when pro athletes love strength and conditioning on top of their sports skills practice, which leads to some interesting conversations.
If you’ve ever wondered what people that are the best in the world think like, then definitely check out this episode. It’s off the charts, maybe the best episode yet!
A couple of weeks ago, one of my great friends, Brandon Kelly, was in town for a few days to hang with us.
We took full advantage of our time together which meant a brutally hard Monday morning workout with a bunch of the guys, followed by a podcast with the two of us and another friend, Jake, from Louisiana who was in town for a Navy SEAL event.
We chatted it up about LIFE, success, focus, drugs and so much more.
If you take a listen you will hear my explanation of how using the analogy of a flashlight will allow you to shift your attention at any moment.
This is key, because where your attention goes, energy flows and results will follow.
A couple of weeks ago, we traveled up to Connecticut for a workout and podcast with Steve Oroscoe.
Steve and I connected by chance. Someone tagged me and the Liver King in one of his posts, which was about fasting, so I decided to say hi and shoot him a message.
One thing led to another and we set a date to catch a workout and shoot some film and record a killer podcast.
Nothing happens unless you make it happen, remember that.
Anyhow, in this episode, Steve and I talk about:
-Why fasting is the WAY…
-A very simple way to being fasting
-The harsh, often ignored, reality about success. But when implemented, you can do ANYTHING….
-How to leap frog from one dream to the next, knowing that success is a continuous process
And much, much more.
Little did I know until after the episode that Steve ran for Senate up there and potentially is eyeballing the 2026 Governors seat. Yes, with his mindset, I have no doubt that he has a great shot at winning, which won’t surprise you after you listen to this episode.
Back in 1998, I read a book that I got by mail order from a magazine, that shaped my foundation for my training philosophy.
At the time, I was still in high school, just entering my senior year.
And I had a vision of becoming the strongest bodybuilder I could become.
I left no stone unturned.
Anyone can slap together some exercises. That doesn’t necessarily constitute a solid training program.
What I always want to know is: what’s the creator's philosophy behind it?
Take a listen to see what my exact philosophy of training is, it’ll give you a better understanding of training than 99% of ‘fitness experts’.
Listen, people pay me good money to write programs, take advantage of this opportunity to learn about my training methods.
Listen to it until you truly understand it.
Back in 2014, I was lucky enough to go to a Dax Moy seminar on Mind Mapping, which ultimately transformed my life.
Have you ever had a philosophy, theory or idea but couldn’t quite formulate it into something coherent, even though you knew it to be true? Well, that’s what Dax did for me when it came to Mind Map.
In this episode, we go deep on the real purpose of goal setting and I believe once you listen to this, you will never look at goal setting the same way again and you will forever have more self-awareness which will help when you get off track, which will happen.
We talk about:
-The 3 I’s of impact, influence and income
-The dopamine treadmill and why it will burn you out and leave you feeling hopeless
-Why the answer to overwhelm is never MORE
-What the real purpose of any goal is
-How to use the 3 ‘Beauty’s’ to set up magical days
-Why structuring your LIFE around what is most important NOW is an absolute MUST
And so much more.
So buckle up and prepare to have your mind blown! I know mine was.

A week ago, I was on day 3 of a 4 day fast to bring in my new year.
The past few years, I have made it a ritual to fast until my birthday, do a brutally hard training session on my birthday and go deep into my mind the night prior with the help of Magic Mushrooms.
Why in the world would someone do this?
I thought you were supposed to take it easy on your birthday?
In today’s episode, I explain my thought process behind why I do this, I explain my insights and key takeaways from the MM trip and share with you how I hurt my calf significantly and what I did about it both mentally and physically to recover in superhero time.
People ask me about mindset far more than anything else.
And truth be told, mindset is my forte.
In fact, the main reason I utilize my fasting protocols is for the mind and spirit.
In this episode, I cover 3 keys that anyone can do to transform their mindset.
By the way, negative thoughts are completely normal and common, but it doesn’t mean we have to settle for them.
Take a listen and apply what I share here. But, be warned, there is work involved!
A month or so ago I decided to start talking once in a while about worldly events, topics that I am well versed in and study daily.
I am endlessly curious about all this stuff.
Now, if you are only listening to the MSM, this stuff will all be new to you and might even highly offend you.
If you are easily offended, then you best not listen, or you can and you can vehemently disagree with me. But I’ll still be your friend:)
In this episode, I talk about: UFOs, Bronny James’ heart attack, the Stanford President and the Jason Aldean song.
Absorb what is useful and discard the rest.
Steve Parente, long time friend and client, is about to open his 16th Physical Therapy location.
That’s incredible, I don’t care who you are!
I can’t even imagine opening 16 gyms.
And this has been done in an environment in which the big boy corporations have pretty much wiped out all the smaller mom and pop shops.
When I first met Steve, he was in need of an energy boost. At first, he rejected the Panda method, thinking it was a bit crazy.
Now, he has a group of friends that he supports doing the Panda! He has taken his discipline to a whole other level.
Success leaves clues.
And if you are after success, then you are going to want to take a listen to what he has to say.

2 weekends ago, I attempted and successfully completed the Army Ranger Challenge.
It was 12 miles in under 3 hours with 40 pounds on my back.
Why in the world would someone do this voluntarily, without a sanctioned event?
Because, I said I would and because I have to constantly see if ‘I have what it takes’.
In today’s episode of ULYIS, I go over the ins and outs of my adventure, my mindset, how my body held up and the self talk I played in my mind as I took step after step.

Not to toot my own horn, but I am going to.
I am excellent at seeing patterns long before most people.
I saw right through the Covid lies, literally, before it even officially began.
And nearly every prediction I have made about stuff going on around the world since then has come true. Devon and my brothers would confirm this for you.
So, in today's episode, I give you a sneak peak into my brain with what is happening and what I believe will happen next.
I normally don't talk about this with the public, but my buddies have urged me to start talking about this and other interesting fascinations I have, more regularly.
Whether you agree or disagree with what I have to say here, I hope that it gets you thinking a little bit differently.
But, be warned, some of this might upset you. If you are rigid in your beliefs and would rather live inside a bubble, DO NOT LISTEN.
There you have, consider yourself warned.

In this episode, I had the distinct honor and pleasure of chatting with Barbara Majeski, TV personality and CEO/Founder of the More Life Collective.
Barn drops so much wisdom in this episode that I had to call Devon right after to tell her how excited I was. Barb simply ‘gets it’.
You will hear how Barb overcame a devastating divorce and stage 3 cancer in the same year, which propelled her to chasing her childhood dream of becoming a TV personality.
Surviving cancer made Barb check herself and make some deals with Grim Reaper himself. One of the most impactful things was making sure that she is always in alignment with whom she promised herself she would BE if she got another crack at life.
Living in true alignment and calling yourself out on BS is something Barb is brilliant on.
I kid you not, I was like a kid in a candy store, because she was dropping so many bombs that directly correlate to Mind Mapping.
Barb talks about how the happiest people are the ones that are the most curious and that possess a growth mindset. And, ‘You don’t have to be the smartest person in the room, you just have to do the smart things’.
‘Information’ doesn’t lead to a transformation…action does!
‘Suspend your judgment of others, it’s only poisoning you and holding you back. Rather, ask how they did ‘it’.’
Man, this was great, we are already planning part 2 this summer.
Stay tuned.
I highly recommend that you follow Barb on Instagram @barbarmajeski and check out her challenges and programs at www.barbaramajeski.com.

Since our social media game has blown up, I get all types of bizarre, funny and interesting messages and comments.
So, I figured that once a month or so, I would have the ‘Silliness Report’ edition of the podcast.
Highlighting some of the points brought up to me and giving you my take on them.
In today’s episode, I highlight a true fake fitness expert, a 16 year old with not an ounce of work ethic, a college educated robot and a functional medicine practitioner.
Enjoy, laugh and learn!

I met David Fishchuk through our mutual Coach a few months ago.
I was impressed by how he was carrying himself and creating the life of his dreams at such a young age (he’s 29).
In today’s episode, we sat down for a conversation in which David shared how he overcame the death of his brother, how he beat his addiction to adderall and pornography and how he now teaches his clients to drop all vices.
If you are on the path of self-improvement and you think that you are the only one going through the jungle of vices, things you need to hide, know that you aren’t alone.
Take a listen to today’s episode and gain some inspiration from David. He’s a great young father that is going to be doing big things on this planet!

And it has been something that has been so powerful in my life that I love sharing with you guys.
Recently, on our trip to Jamaica, my visions became manifest, in a HUGE way.
And it all has to do with infusing your thoughts with emotion and enthusiasm, consistently.
In today’s episode, I go over the story of the witch doctor and my massage in which my new reality got burned into my nervous system.
Believe it or not, either way you are right.

My video crew, the Turks, aka Has Media, has been wanting to hook me up with one of their other clients, Jake, for quite some time.
Jake has a very interesting background, from being in the military to Mexico, back to the states and now going back to Mexico.
Jake ran a half marathon in costume, without consuming any water and then went on to run a full marathon without any water as well.
Jake is the type of man that when he puts his mind to something, he does it.
He was in the corporate world for a bit, but his soul kept telling him that he was destined to become a Coach.
I got along with him so well because he, too, follows the unconventional route in life.

Kowboy Keith recently came to town and we got a killer workout in, followed by an amazing podcast episode.
Keith is an uber entrepreneur…
He went to prison for a year..
He was on the Federal Agents most wanted list…
And he has given up all vices as he takes a new path in life.
This episode is an inspirational tale to say the least.
There were tears and laughter and a whole bunch of motivational nuggets for you to take from.
If Kowboy’s story doesn’t inspire you, you might want to check your pulse, because you might be dead.
You can follow Keith on Instagram @kowboykeith. Be sure to check him out.
And if you’re not already, You can follow me on IG @thepandamanofficial and on YouTube @kylenewell1000.
In today’s episode, I was fortunate to have my good buddy, Patrick Tromley, aka the Level Up Dad on the show.
Patrick is a shining example to his 3 sons and men that he Coaches on how to be a man.
Patrick and I discussed the lack of male leadership and the situation that we now find ourselves in as a world and as a country.
One of the great things that you’ll gain from listening is that Patrick was in the Real Estate field for quite some time, but it never lit him up.
It was a means to an end.
And then, he found his true purpose, Coaching others.
When I asked him what advice he would give his 25 year old self, he said, ‘Get into alignment quicker’.
It’s such a rare thing to see a man that has found his true purpose and who is pursuing his true purpose.
You will walk away a smarter person for listening to this episode, for sure!

Finally, I am calling you out! I need to get more reviews on my show. If you like what I am doing and putting out there, please just take 2 minutes and drop a gem of a review, that way the word can reach more people! You rock!
Two weekends ago, I was out at the ‘Mansion Mastermind’.
I hired Wes Watson in February to Coach me for 6 months on the next part of my journey. (I’ll have a YouTube video on my experience next week).
Normally when you go to a mastermind, there are a million things to do after the fact which usually leads to nothing more than you just being pumped up for a few days and then nothing happening.
I just got down jotting down my takeaways and there was really one thing that Wes said to me right at the end.
He said, ‘Pandaman, you are going to be big time. Everything is there, just keep on it. It’s going to happen. Just be more blunt speaking to the men out there that need you’.
That was it, that was the thing I invested 10K into going out there for.
It’s time for me to engage the dark side of the Panda, which I go over in this episode.
I will no longer allow dads and men out there to passively remain weak and out of shape, because to do so would mean that I am failing with my unique gifts and I am letting that man’s children down.
Take a listen to the episode if you’re curious about the duality of the Panda. Which is, afterall, why I chose the Panda.
A few weeks ago, I had the chance to have my buddy, Mike, aka GasMoney, of Norther California on the show.
And I was impressed.
Mike started playing travel baseball when he was 15 and quickly became better.
To the point where he walked on at D1 school, St. Mary’s and within his freshman year, got a chance to play and never left the starting line up again.
Mike took that same approach to his fitness business and has created a world wide following.
One of the things that Mike talks about is working with the ‘laws of the universe’. If you find yourself chasing and wanting, you are doing things wrong.
Allowance and belief is the way.
You guys can follow Mike on Instagram @gasmoney1 and on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@moneygas1.
Man, my head and heart are still buzzing about after having a great conversation with my new friend Kyle Carnohan of SuperHuman Fathers!!!
This guy is a beast!!! He has 5 kids, a beautiful wife and was at the top of his game as a Fireman, or so he thought.
Right around the birth of his baby girl just a few years ago, he had a calling that he needed to become more.
And that path, that intuitive insight, has led to such a powerful movement in which Fathers are becoming SuperHuman.
I have been around a lot of high level people, and I can tell you that Kyle is vibrating at a very high level. There are so many gems, so much inspiration and tons of wisdom in this hour-long session with Kyle. I am beyond grateful that he spent the time with me and that I get to share it with you all.
If you want to get in touch with Kyle, you can text his real cell phone (this is not a gimmick) at 760-277-7219.
And for his daily inspiration, you can follow him on IG @Superhumanfathers. Or you can go to the website at www.superhumanfathers.com or finally, watch the bombs he is putting out on his YouTube @ Superhumanfathers.
Enjoy the show and spread the word!!!

I’ve been studying fat loss for literally 25 years now.
That means the nitty gritty science as well as the psychological aspects of it.
And I can tell you that the mind is the key factor in whether or not you will get results and keep those results.
In today’s episode, I break down what these 5 factors are and how you can use them.
Keep in mind, people will disagree with me, but in my humble but accurate opinion, these are the ONLY things that truly work.
In this episode, I had the honor of sitting down with Coach G of Guerrero Fitness.
Coach G was driving trucks for 19 years and was always in the gym.
He was what he called puffy strong, jacked arms, but with a gut.
Then, on Thanksgiving morning while playing handball with hid buddies, one of them called him out for having his shirt off. That buddy put him on to Coach Wes Watson.
Coach G was intrigued and doing his research on Coach Wes when his youngest son called him out at the dinner table for being chubby.
That was it…
Coach G went full in on his own personal transformation that others started to take note.
Now, Coach G is building an empire with Guerrero Fitness and it’s only just the beginning.
Success leaves clues and in this episode, Coach G lays out his daily routine and the law of compensation.
So, if you are after more success in life, all you have to do is listen to this episode and copy what Coach G does.
This was one of my favorite episodes so far!

4 years ago, climbing Mt. Washington was not on my radar, at ALL!
I had driven it a few times on vacation, which was terrifying because of my lizard brain response to heights.
I’m talking like palms sweating and cold sweat on my brow.
So, to imagine that I have attempted to climb it the past 3 years is something else.
Each time, I get a PhD in human psychology.
In today’s episode, I go over 3 lessons learned from this 3rd time up the Mount.
In short:
-The social aspect of eating and bonding
-Making a life or death decision in an instant
-Downloading direct knowledge from the Universe and God
You’ll have to listen to the episode to find out what I learned in more depth. And while you’re over there, please don’t forget to subscribe and leave a review!
I first met John nearly 2 years ago in a Mastermind group that we are a part of.
John has won numerous, prestigious awards as a part of that group and he runs a thriving gym down in Texas.
Not only that, but John is also a Doctor and he is in phenomenal shape!
But, it wasn’t easy, not by any means.
In fact, John was, not long ago, in a depression and funk, barely making it by in his business.
John took those darkest of times and performed mental alchemy on himself and the speed at which he totally transformed his business and life are incredible!
In fact, this may be the only show of my own that I need to go back and take notes on!!!
Enjoy the show!

Bruno grew up in Newark, NJ in a big Italian family.
Naturally, food was a big part of his culture.
It’s no wonder that Bruno has gone on to become a prolific food entrepreneur and connoisseur.
Bruno has two restaurants, 2 food trucks, the best wings in NJ and…
Has appeared on many of the nation’s top network television food shows, including Cooks vs. Cons, and…
Has not transitioned into appearing in many high level TV shows and movies.
Bruno has an amazing story and amazing energy.

Man, this one was a good one! I walked away inspired and pumped!!!
I met Brad Dunn of Reliant Fitness through our Coach, Wes Watson and I’ve been admiring his message and work in the world of inspiring, Coaching and being a Thought Leader….
Brad began his professional career as a mechanic that wound up being a standout Fire Fighter in the state of California.
His path to becoming a real life superhero began long before…way back when we was a ‘runt’ as he put it, as a senior in highschool, standing 5’5” and 130 pounds soaking wet.
Brad has a very unique philosophy that intrigues me and takes a very spiritual approach to his lifting and physical fitness (I love it when I find another strong man that has this approach, so cool!).
You will walk away from this episode with many lessons, but my favorite is having the indomitable mindset and discipline to know that YOU will succeed no matter what, as long as you keep your mind focused on the task at hand….
Enjoy the show!!

I began training Greg as a junior in high school back in 2010.
Greg was the most explosive athlete ever to come through Newell Strength.
Since that time, Greg has gone on to do some amazing things, all by following his unique path.
Greg was recently the runner up on the Bachelorette.
The amazing thing about Greg is that he turned the show down on their first offer to him because he was living by his core values.
Greg has much wisdom and experience for someone that isn’t even 30 yet!
In this episode, you’ll get to hear about Greg’s ups and downs, from behind the scenes of the show to his father’s tragic passing.
25 years or so ago, Amy Fiedler became friends with my wife Devon.
Nowadays, they are the best of friends...
Which means that I get the benefit of getting to talk with Amy and pick her brain on a regular basis.
Amy is a world-class Life Coach and as you will hear in this episode, her passion for Coaching grew out of a need to help herself.
Amy's ability to ask the right questions at the right time are unparalleled.
In this episode, you will learn about:
-The Ultimate morning routines
-What questions world-class Coaches aske themselves on a regular basis
-How bringing an open and non-judgmental mind to each situation will lead to unbelievable growth and insight
There's so much more too...
This might be the best episode that I've ever recorded, so get your notepads ready and enjoy the show!
Over the past decade, a strange harmony has merged into my life.
Much of what I teach and practice has strong roots in Indian culture.
I did not pick this stuff up such as my Panda fasting, urine therapy, cold immersion, transcendental meditation through studying their culture….
It simply comes to me in the form of inspiration, I then apply it right away to my own life and then I teach it if its working for me.
In today’s podcast, I go deeper into how I came up with the unconventional Panda Method that I teach.
Remember, you can either follow the herd, or not. The choice is yours and there is no right or wrong…

A Man Without a Plan is a Man with a Plan to Fail
Back in 2014, I was in a slump for a few months.
I couldn’t quite put my finger on why.
Luckily, Vince, who’s been my Coach since 2012, was able to ask me a few key questions on one of our calls to get to the bottom of it.
It turned out, it was a simple fix.
I had, for some dumb reason, stopped planning my days out the night prior.
Which left me feeling aimless and without purpose.
I got back on my daily planning and the ‘fog’ lifted.
In today’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I go into depth about how to use the Newell Strength planner and the brain science behind it.
I had a concerned friend and client reach out to me while on vacation.
He wanted to know why I was on social media so much on a vacation.
Admittedly, that’s not what I normally do.
In today’s episode, I explain why that was the case and why your dreams are fleeting, you have to hunt them down when the inspiration strikes.

Last weekend, I had to tell an old buddy a hard truth.
Most people don’t like to listen to the hard truth, but, all progress starts with the truth.
As we dive into part 2 for the Battle for Your Mind, I discuss: discipline, simple vs. easy, your body as a reflection as to what is going on in your mind and the power of having a Coach.
Put the stuff from last episode and this episode to use and if you liked it, share it with someone that needs to hear it.
This past weekend, we went skiing at Blue Mountain.
Devon grew up skiing, I did not.
She already has our kids whipping around the mountains, so I know that if I want to be a part of that as we grow older, I need to learn.
Now, for me, that involves quite a bit of fear.
In the latest episode of ULYIS, I discuss: self-doubt, self-talk, dealing with death at a very early age and physical vs. psychotic pain.
I use the physical pain to access my psychotic pain as a chance to work the all important muscle known as the mind.
Two weeks ago I had my quarterly Mastermind meeting with my CEO group.
And that very same week, I joined a new mastermind program online.
I am a magnet for knowledge.
Why?
So I can improve and share.
You see, I learn by teaching. I grow by learning. I grow by teaching.
I am always seeking knowledge.
In today’s episode of Unlocking Inner Your Inner Strength, I share with you 3 concepts that you can use to sharpen and strengthen your mind.
Remember, it all comes down to your mind.
P.S.- For my free fasting manual and 'Lost Secrets of Fasting' audio you can go to www.kylenewell.com/manual.
A few weeks ago, my old buddy, Carl Sanfilippo, came by for an early morning workout followed by an episode on the podcast in our new studio.
It has been amazing to watch Carl grow and become super successful.
So naturally, our conversation was largely about success and how he runs his companies and his life.
I highly recommend that you take a listen and absorb what he has to say about confidence and consistency, with a little clarity mixed in.
A few weeks ago, Devon had a tough love conversation with me.
She was challenging me on some of my limiting beliefs.
And my inner wimp was squirming inside my head, I wanted to exit that conversation pronto.
But she persisted…
And I had a breakthrough.
Stop avoiding your shortcomings. Stop just thinking about what you want to do.
Do it.
Your life is a direct reflection of your choices and actions up to this point.
No one else is to blame.

3 Exercises For Massive Leg Growth
In today’s episode, I recap the lessons learned and the results from doing the Indigo Panda within the 75 Hard program.
I went 5 days without food, then broke the fast. Then 4, then 3 and then 2.
All while working out twice per day.
Capped off with an overnight 12 hour walk.
So many lessons to share and hopefully that can apply to your life as well.
As you read this, I am almost half way through my journey on 75 Hard.
And in case you haven’t seen me on social media, I used it as leverage to test Indigo Panda on myself.
Instantly, Indigo Panda reframed 75 Hard in my mind.
Make no mistake, both of these programs are physical only on the surface.
What they are really meant to do is to take you to another sphere mentally, and therefore spiritually.
In today’s episode, I sit down in our new podcast studio and discuss in a rare interview format, my experience thus far and the mindset it takes to do something like this.
I remember back in high school basketball, when I really began pushing myself and studying how to maximize my potential, I was willing to do stuff that other kids simply wouldn’t do.
One of the most feared things every year at tryouts, the day after Thanksgiving, was when Coach would have us run an endless amount of suicides.
He was weeding out the weak.
There were puke buckets on the sides.
So, I ran suicides for months leading up to tryouts my junior year.
Let’s just say that tryouts were relatively easy for me, while I got to watch in amusement as the others were dying in their suicides.
I practiced tough, which made the ‘real life’ easy.
This is what you want to do with your everyday living.
In today’s episode, I discuss 4 simple ideas that you can incorporate every day to ‘steel’ your mind.
When I first began competing in bodybuilding back in 2004, I thought I knew a lot.
For my first few contests, I was able to tough it out.
Extreme will power and determination.
But, as you may or may not know, you cannot form a lifestyle out of pure willpower.
Once it really clicked with me that it’s all mental, it became so much easier to life fully in my fitness and fasting focused lifestyle.
Yes, there is discipline day in and day out, but I enjoy what I am doing.
I need to be ready at any moment to take care of my family.
Being a Ripped Dad is about being ready to: save your own life, save someone else’s life or being able to kick someone’s a** when needed.
It all starts in the mind.
In 2014, we ran our very first Ripped Dads contest.
I remember at that time being so pumped to watch the transformations happen and that we had such a niche program.
Well, over the past 8 years, I have grown to love this contest since I am now a father of 3 that knows the struggles of fatherhood and I have seen the impact we can have on dads.
Secondly, I have also come to realize over the years that it’s all in the head.
Your mindset is everything….EVERYTHING!
In the latest episode of ULYIS, I discuss 3 things every dad can do, right away, to take their life, relationships and career to the next level.
Any surprise that the first thing I mention has to do with the mind????
How Will We Impact 1,000,000 People
A few weeks ago, I was refining our 1 year vision for Newell Strength and I had written one of the things as, ‘To impact over 5,000 local lives’.
The only problem was….it didn’t excite me. And if it didn’t excite me, you can be sure that my team was probably not excited.
So, I sat there one night and thought about it and BAM!
The 1 year vision in that realm was to impact over 1,000,000 lives around the world.
Now, this might sound impossible, but it’s not.
With that thing called the Web and our strategies for social media, it might actually be too low.
But, when Evan, our Marketing Director, asked me during a recent brainstorming session, ‘What is the impact? How will we improve over 1,000,000 lives?’
I didn’t hesitate in my response….
MINDSET.
That’s my thing, and that’s what I am going all in on.
Even the Panda is a function of mindset and Mind Map.
In today’s episode, I drop 3 critical traits for mindset that you can start implementing right away.
I have been studying success for a long time.
And while success is a personal thing, based on your own definition of success, we can still find clues from those we view as successful.
I have been fortunate enough to have some great Mentors and Coaches in my life.
In today’s episode, I share with you the top 5 things that I have learned that have helped me including: time management, reading, tough workouts, association and mindset.
Enjoy!
Two weeks ago, I was interviewed on the Michael Becker show and the main topic was leadership.
It seems to be a common thing that people are interested in, so I thought I’d make a podcast for you, about my views on leadership.
Remember, it starts and ends with you as a leader.
Standing up in the face of fear is easy when you have values that you live by.
And making decisions is much easier when you have rock solid, foundational values.
Take a listen and let me know what you think!
I have been blessed with the ability to help people achieve what they didn’t think they could achieve.
And they were right, they couldn't achieve it YET, on their own. They just had to be shown the path.
A big part of how I have been able to do this is through physical fitness. It’s a doorway into the psyche of a person.
In today’s episode, I cover my KISS training principles, including:
-Train the hip and grip and all will be good
-Train your upper back, a lot
-Train at or near your anaerobic threshold
-Challenge yourself
-The 5 basic movements
Keep it stupid simple (I know, this is my own twist on the KISS acronym).
Enjoy and let me know your questions!
In today's episode, I discuss how my Panda Fasting helps in these areas:
-Weight loss
-Simplicity
-Reduced inflammation
-Autophagy
-Hormones
-Detoxification
-Brain Health
and...gaining more time.
I hope you learn something and put it to use. Enjoy!
2 days ago, the first ever Muscle Camp at Newell Strength began.
It’s a 6 week program, designed to put on 3-6 pounds of muscle.
That may not sound like a lot, but I assure you, it is.
If you missed out on this round, don’t worry, we will do it again at some point and the 12 specific workouts will be put into a manual that you can purchase.
I had quite a few ‘ceremonies’ to initiate myself into my 5th decade of life.
It began with a nice trip into my mind and spirit overnight.
Then, I put my body to the test on 4 hours of sleep, fasted for 72 hours, blood donated the night before and the list goes on.
It was an initiation, a breaking down of barriers, killing of my 40 year old self if you will.
Consider creating some ceremonies for your next birthday and an initiation process into that year of your life.
I hope you enjoy the episode!
10 days or so ago, we took the time on a Sunday, later afternoon, to come up with our Family Core Values.
It wasn’t something we necessarily wanted to do, but we really needed to do them.
Sure, it would have been nice to procrastinate, but then we would still have the same emotions rising up.
In today’s episode, I share with you our Core Values, but more importantly I explain the importance of having Core Values and knowing your own personal definitions in life.
The BIG Four-1
41 years ago today, I was born.
August 10th, at 10:10 AM.
And I have to tell you, that this is by far the best I have ever felt in my life.
I am not just saying that.
The funny thing is, I have multiple people every week asking me what I have been doing differently.
I tell them, not much, besides finally ‘getting it’. Something clicked and now I have been propelled to another level of health and fitness.
How my body looks is just a side effect.
Remember, it all starts by making a decision.
3 years ago, Emma was born.
Yes, our little warrior princess is growing up fast!
3 years and 10 months ago, I figured out a loophole in supplementing with testosterone.
You see, I have always been a practitioner of direct knowledge, mainly through self-experimentation.
And one of the areas of expertise that I have developed this in is in testosterone replacement therapy.
As I’ve gotten back into the training aspect at Newell Strength, I have really been enjoying listening to and thinking about the philosophy of some of the bodybuilding greats.
Men that have inspired me and that have played a huge role in my development.
Socrates has a quote that resonated with what I have been thinking alot about lately, ‘No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.’
You shape your mind through your body.
Your body is the temple, treat it as such and watch how your philosophy of life changes.
Here are some great clips with some of the characters I mentioned in the episode:

Way back in 1997, when I first began to take my strength training seriously, I knew that nutrition was going to be the other wheel of my ‘fitness bike’.
I wanted to get big.
I wanted to put on muscle.
And I knew that I needed to support that with nutrients and extra building blocks.
I would drink these banana chalk shakes, in which I had to plug my nose.
There were quite a few times in which I actually force fed myself to the point of vomiting.
While experimenting with the Cylce Diet, I put on legendary eating shows, consuming upwards of 20,000 calories in a day, many, many times.
I’ve seen and done it all with nutrition.
Which has all led me to the Panda Diet.
Take a listen and enjoy as I share some of the stories that formed the basis for my philosophy on nutrition.
On the way home from Italy, I was able to read an entire book, ‘Yes to Life’, which had a few golden nuggets in it.
In today’s episode, I talk about:
-happiness
-fulfillment in life
-the purpose of life (it’s not set in stone)
And much more.
Don’t say no to life when it gets tough, accept it as part of your journey.
Enjoy the episode!
Way back in the years of 1995-1998, I was developing the foundation for the Newell Strength training principles.
As time has gone on, some of the stuff has become a little more popular with the masses, but much is still unique.
Some of the principles in today's episode include:
-Training at or near an anaerobic and anabolic threshold
-Movement first, then strength
-A game of angles
-The mind muscle connection
-Grip and mental toughness training
And more. Take a listen and share with a friend!
It was very fitting that I would be finishing up my 30-day squat challenge while in Italy.
And, it turned out that I actually finished on the night of my brother’s wedding, on the dance floor, with about 5 other people joining in.
In the latest episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I discuss the Italian’s key to health, what I did for my own personal fitness while traveling abroad and the wild life that the 30-day squat challenge wound up taking on.
Your state of mind determines your reality.
Yet, most people get stuck in a bad state of mind.
It’s almost as if they feel they have no control over their thoughts.
And if you have no control over your thoughts, you’ll have no control over your feelings.
That’s when life can become a very slippery slope.
In today’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I share with you 5 things you can do that can help you feel in control again and nearly always be the master of your mind.
Principles are few, methods are many. Here is my Mt. Rushmore of fitness principles that I feel are the most important to focus on to stay young, strong and powerful.
On May 20th, we had our 2 year anniversary of opening up successfully in the midst of Covid, against the Governor’s wishes.
It came out better than anyone could have anticipated.
We lived by our principles and values in that moment and it paid off.
When you lead with the goodness of your heart, you can never go wrong.
Here is a recap of that story, two years later.
I went for a 2 mile run this weekend.
Last year, I dabbled a bit more with running and I am glad I did.
While I don’t have any aspirations at this moment for doing any competitive running, my run this past weekend made me think about standards for training.
In today’s episode, I cover things that I think you should be able to do and/or work towards when survival is the name of the game.
Using survival as a frame of reference puts fitness and strength into perspective.
Take a listen and enjoy!
15 years ago, I began Newell Strength.
It was and is my passion.
It is also my profession, that of being a Coach.
Heading into this year, I developed a strategy, along with Devon, to get it to where I know it can be.
I knew that ultimately, it all falls on me, I take responsibility and ownership.
In today’s episode, I share with you why now, my role and what this means for Newell Strength.
I first began experimenting with cheat days and re-feeds way back in the year 2002. There was hardly any resources back then regarding this topic. After a college department head had no answers for me, I realized that I was on my own and that I'd have to figure out for myself how the human body really worked when it came to trying to pack on muscle or drop serious body fat. In this episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I go into things such as super-compensation, unreal appetites and food hangovers.
When I first began training, way back in high school, I quickly realized that what I was doing in the gym and with my nutrition was much different than what the norm was.
Maybe it’s because I was willing to do things outside the box, but I soon found out that I was on the correct path and using something I call ‘reality math’ has always allowed me to stay about 5 years ahead of the curve.
Sorry if that sounds braggadocious, but it’s true.
In today’s episode, I breakdown 6 myths that, once known, will probably save you a lot of time and frustration.
3 years ago, I dove into longer form fasting, after doing a 16-20 hour fast for the prior 5 years.
But just like 2019, I knew there was something more to be learned and explored, which is the feeling I’ve been hearing God whisper into my ear quite frequently.
That’s part of the inspiration that some people have heard me talk about when I talk about developing Indigo Panda.
Anyhow, I am diving back into my 72's, which I still was doing every few months, some dry fasting, and some other fasting experiments I am kicking around right now.
For me, it’s mainly a spiritual quest this time around.
Have you ever had one of those moments in life when your mind expands on the spot.
And you’re conscious of it?
If you’re aware of your thoughts, and this happens to you, you remember it forever.
For me, one of those moments was when I had the chance to compete against Tim Martin back in 2007 and later become friends with him.
Tim expanded my mind into what was possible physically.
In this episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I am fortunate enough to get an inside peak into a champion’s mindset. It’s worth gold, take a listen….
I was fortunate enough to interview my longtime mentor and the creator of Mind Map, Dax Moy, a few weeks ago.
If you’ve ever wondered about the origins of Mind Map or what the thought process was behind it, then you are going to want to take a listen.
In this episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, Dax shares some knowledge about the NEED for creating Mind Mapping, what Bio Map and Body Map are and how the brain and nervous system are always trying to tell us something.
When we just continue to use the same approach of grind, go harder, push through, then we will lose that battle every time.
Take a listen and enjoy!
My Definition of a Real Man
Last year, about this same time, I was giving a lot of deep thought to what it means to be a man.
Where was I falling short and where do I continue to fall short?
Maybe it’s natural to have thoughts of this magnitude when the seasons change.
Check that, I believe it’s imperative to have thoughts like this when the seasons change.
Real men are tough and stern. Real men don’t play the victim. Real men are in shape.
The list goes on.
When you were younger, you were probably able to get away with a lot more at the table and your eating habits and not pay a price for it.
Although, that doesn’t mean you were necessarily healthy.
As we age, we need to take into account a few other factors and there’s a better approach than just cutting calories.
Going back to the early 2000’s, when I began competing in bodybuilding, I learned how to train with injuries.
Over the years, I’ve become known as an expert and how to train with and help injuries heal faster.
The absolute worst thing that you can when you get an injury is to stop training.
Yes, you read that correctly.
If you want to know why and what to do, take a listen to today’s episode.
The Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Done
Ten days ago, we were up in New Hampshire attempting to climb Mt. Washington.
Last year, I didn’t make it.
This year, I was inspired to give it my best.
We made it, it was unreal.
I had to use every tool I had in mind, body and spirit. No stone was left unturned.
In today’s episode, I break it all down.
A week ago, we had our 4th installment in our seminar series with Dr. Andrey Espinoza about how to have the healthiest heart around.
Lucky for you, I recorded an episode for you on my portion of the talk.
If you want to know:
Ever since I can remember, I knew that a big part of helping people transform their lives was a combination of things, one of which was teaching them so they understood on some level why they were doing what they were doing.
Fasting is no different.
I can’t tell you how often I hear that ‘I fast, I do the 8 hour window’. Which is fine and dandy, that’s what I did for a number of years, before I really understood the power of fasting.
In today’s episode, I break down how fasting actually works and how it can and should have a compounding effect on your health and wellness.
(If you’d really like to master the practice of fasting, see below for the upcoming Panda Challenge).
A little over two years ago, I was quarantined in our room with one of the worst cases of flu ever seen.
It didn’t kill me, but Devon thought it might. It was the real deal.
Anyhow, I had an idea and my notebook. The idea was the concept of the Panda Diet, something I had been brainstorming for a few months.
I had nothing else to do and no energy to move, so I began to write and map out the Panda Diet.
It was literally created while I was down and out with the flu.
In today’s episode, I talk about the creation of Panda, the history and the process.
Last week, one of my brothers, Presh, was asking if I thought there was censorship around fasting just like how they censor so many other things these days.
Afterall, fasting does change the health for the positive dramatically in those that try it.
While I don’t think there’s censorship around fasting, I do believe the current way of eating has been systematically installed over the past century to make a society of unhealthy, mind numbed, zombies.
I touch on this here and there from time to time, but in this episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I devote my full attention to it.
Before you know it, the warm weather will be here.
Which means that a lot of people will be thinking about their eating a bit more.
It’s natural in the winter to ease up and eat more ‘rich’ foods.
This is part of the human hibernation theory that I believe to be true.
Anyhow, in today’s episode, I discuss why we are like Cacti living in a forest.
And to take it one step further, you are more like a camel than you think.
Once you connect these dots, fasting will make a lot more sense to you.
I have been on point with my weekly, long breathing session and it certainly does make me ‘high’.
Yes, it seems like a nuisance at times to stay on point with. But well worth it.
And in about a month, we are once again heading to Mt. Washington to attempt to summit the highest point on the east coast.
Last year, my brain was shot by the time I crossed the tree line because the 80 degree climb at one point got to me mentally.
Yet, I felt more alive than I can recall in any recent time.
Perhaps that’s why I got a motorcycle this year too.
Mortality. Life can’t exist without death. No, I do not have a death wish, but I do know that putting myself in situations where I realize how fragile my life is helps new neural pathways open up in my brain, making me feel high, more alive.
I began my fasting journey 8 years ago.
8 years of honing my craft and I feel like I am just beginning to scratch the surface.
In today’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I drop some knowledge on the 5 Problems That Fasting Will Fix and not all of them have to do with what you’re eating.
But you’ll have to take a listen to find out what they are.
You’ll get more out of ‘it’ if you take the time to invest 12 minutes. If you’re not willing to do that, then you’re out of luck and quite possibly might remain stuck in nutritional purgatory:).
2012 was a pivotal year for Newell Strength.
In this week’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I reminisce about the past decade.
If you listened to last week’s episode, you’ll get a feel for the start-up days and the hustle of those first 5 years.
In 2012, I made it my commitment to go all in and walk away from my cushy teaching career.
Hopefully something in here can spark some inspiration or at the very least, give you some insight into the brand that Newell Strength has become.
A couple of weeks ago, Suga Shane sent me a podcast to listen to.
The podcast?
One of my very own, where I discussed the origins of Newell Strength.
Which gave me the idea to create another episode on that very topic as each year I get further away from the origins I am sure I will have new insights to share and memories that you may not be aware of.
In today’s episode, I share the story of how 15 years ago, right about this time, I took the seed and began to put all my efforts into it.
You’ll see why perseverance pays off and why simply beginning is really the only way to achieve anything.
Leading is not easy.
But it’s necessary.
Some people are born leaders.
Some become leaders.
Some are born and become great leaders.
So, what does it mean to lead?
In today’s episode, I break down leadership and decision making.
As I continue to break down the 50th Law and lessons on being fear-less, it should become more and more apparent that unless you learn how to deal with fear, you will always live life at way less than your potential.
Coming into the New Year, you will think about what you want to achieve this year or why this year is going to be different.
It will only be different once you think differently (about fear specifically).
When most people get sick, their only go-to is medication for symptom relief.
I get it, I’ve been there.
But what if you could have some ‘out of the box’ supplements that would prevent you from getting sick in the first place?
Yes, this may be controversial because of the Lame Stream Media, but I am not one to shy away from controversy.
How Does a Week Without Worry Sound?
Two weeks ago, I told Devon that I was making a commitment to not have any worries for a week.
Yes, those thoughts were certainly going to pop up, the task was going to be to shift my attention as soon as I felt them.
Afterall, the grass is always greener where you put your focus.
In today’s episode, I share the next batch of lessons about being fear-LESS.
Napolean, one of, if not the greatest army generals in history had a philosophy on mental to physical.
The moral was to the physical a 3 to 1 advantage.
Meaning, your mind and attitude are far more powerful than your physical resources.
We see this in great talent that never seem to achieve their full potential.
However, once understood and applied, it can be your biggest advantage.
In today’s lesson, I pick out 7 key points from the next installment of the 50th Law and being fear-LESS.

In today’s episode, I continue to unpack the book, The 50th Law.
Realize in life that you are alone. Realize that no one is coming to your rescue.
And know that being free from what others think you should be, is the ultimate freedom.
Do you know what your principles in life are?
It’s okay if you don’t know, most are never asked this question.
In today’s episode, I take a detour from the lessons of fear to give you the framework for developing your philosophy of life.
For an example, you can download my free '33 Principles to Win at Life' manual to get your brain going on this concept. You can get it here: www.newellstrength.com/manual
In today’s episode of ULYIS, I present to you another in my series of ‘The 50th Law’.
All about fear and how to handle it.
You’ll have to listen to find out the source of all knowledge, but know that you have to empty your cup constantly if you are going to access it.
Enjoy the listen!
Over ten years ago, I first read the book, the 50th Law.
It is one of my top 5 all-time books.
In today’s episode, I go over some lessons that I pull right from the book and share with you my insights and experience with these principles.
Who couldn’t use a little more fearlessness in their life?
Two weekends ago, Suzy and I went on a road trip.
But it wasn’t just a road trip, it was a journey.
A journey in which Suzy had a big break through with her faith.
A journey in which I witnessed here metamorph from a caterpillar to a butterfly.
This episode is me, witnessing a beautiful transformation. Enjoy!
Life Lessons from Jiu-Jitsu
It’s hard for me to believe that I have already been going to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 4 years already.
I remember the nervous, excited energy when I made that decision.
I felt like a fish out of water for the first 3 months, at least!
I figured it would be timely to reflect on some life lessons from BJJ that I feel might benefit you in some way.
It does not matter if you know anything about jiu-jitsu or not, the lessons will be applicable.
I am fortunate enough to study some pretty interesting things.
Things that may have never been studied in conjunction with one another.
And that means, making connections that no one has ever made, at least not through the same route.
If you really stop to think about it, you do the same things or have the potential to do the same thing.
We each have our own unique ‘stack’, something I’ve talked about many times before and something I open the show with.
Sometimes, seemingly intelligent people do things that make zero sense according to logic.
You see that in fitness and nutrition all the time.
Heck, you even see it with everything going on in the world today.
I know that if you listen to today’s episode of my podcast, you’ll connect some dots and become more powerful because of it.
Way back in 2003, when I was first interning with Rutgers Football strength and conditioning, I realized that what I had been taught in college regarding weight loss was completely wrong.
Nearly all of it.
How so?
Well, a good percentage of the football guys were shredded and muscular, despite no long distance cardio nor watching their calories.
They were in their hormonal prime, having intense workouts (remember intensity is relative to the person) and eating as much food as they could get down.
And shredded.
Not that we have to be shredded (trust me, it’s overrated in my humble but accurate opinion).
In today’s episode I explain the nuances of cardio for weight loss and hopefully it will shed some light on you as to what your workouts should be doing for you.
Lessons Learned From Ten Days Without Food
It’s hard for me to believe that it has already come and gone, but my 10 day long experiment without food is behind me.
In this final podcast about my journey, I go over the main lessons I learned regarding my detox and how it applies to you.
Two of the things I talk about are knowing your why and your what.
To get your FREE Fasting Bundle, go to: www.kylenewell.com/maual
On September 7th, I began a ten day long trek with something known as the Master Cleanse.
Funny thing is, my energy was superb, even though I didn’t eat food for ten days.
In this episode of ULYIS, my energy hits a new high as I break down common eating myths including:
Fake Fitness Experts that say One Meal Per day is Wrong
The fallacy of caloric deficits
The beauty of dynamic energy
Transmuting your energy
Why the internal environment of your body determines how your body will change
Enjoy and don't for get to subscribe!
I do believe a big part of my destiny is in helping to figure out how to help people eat right through fasting, detox and natural foods to attain purity of health.
In fact, it’s one of the things I pray for guidance with before each meal.
With that in mind, I know that I must first test the theories on myself.
This serves two purposes; one, to see how it works and to have first hand experience. And two, it’s like Roger Bannister running the 4 minute mile, at first, people thought it was impossible and after he did it, multitudes of people did it that very same year.
How?
Their beliefs in what was possible were altered.
Now, I am not saying that I am Roger Bannister, but once someone goes first, the path becomes a little easier for everyone else following, just as I’ve seen with the Panda program.
In today’s episode, I talk about my current 110-day journey without caffeine and the current detox protocol I am doing which sounds crazy, but only time will tell.
Yes, the human body is the human body, so there are those out there that don’t delineate men and women’s training.
But I feel that it is important to examine the principles of training, so you can decipher what to focus on in a workout as a busy dad.
In this episode of ULYIS, I discuss some in depth principles, but don’t worry, I keep it simple.
How Can We Live in Two Different Realities?
A part of what is so great about road trips is that you can have deeper conversations than you would have if you were just passing by each other during a busy week.
I had some great conversations with my bros a few weeks ago that I will recount in today’s episode.
It’s too important not to share and it’s all about creating reality on your terms.
The simplicity of this will leave you shocked.
In ancient Greece, the great thinkers would often fast, not for weight loss but more for higher level thought.
Fasting does a whole bunch of cool things for your brain though certain hormones.
And, it's all based in the science of survival.
Even if you don't have to lose weight, consider the other powers of fasting such as these.

Your Inner Creates Your Outer
One of the reasons that I fell in love with Mind Mapping was because of the power to know yourself on a deeper level.
Think about it, we have a mind, a brain; one of the most powerful things in the known galaxy, yet many of us don’t acknowledge just how powerful it is.
In today’s episode, I cover some key questions that’ll be useful right away as long as you put them to use.
And more. Enjoy!

Intermittent Fasting: Fad or Fact?
That is the title of the newspaper article that prodded me to record this episode.
It does seem that fasting is gaining more traction but I do contest that it will never become mainstream for multiple reasons.
In this episode:
-Why fasting is not a fad diet
-Why looking at everything within the frame of calories is absolutely wrong
-The simplicity of fasting
-No, it’s not similar to cutting calories
-Don’t trust a so called expert that has never tried longer fasting
And more. Enjoy!

At this moment, you have no worries.
All of the turmoil and muddy waters in your mind are of a different time, be it past or future.
In this episode, I explain some level 2 Mind Map concepts for you that I think you’ll be able to put to use straight away, including:
-What the anxiety gap is and how it can benefit you
-Why fear is just a projection
-The only point on the timeline that anger can arise from
-The difference between a problem and a predicament
-Why knocking down the feeling of ‘heightened inner importance’ is a must if you want to create life on your terms
And more. Enjoy!

Aligning Mind, Body and Spirit for Weight Loss
The hardest part for most people is finding the right way of eating that works physiologically.
For most, they never get past this stage.
However, if you are fortunate enough to get past this stage, you must make sure your mind and spirit align with the path, or your transformation will forever allude you.
In this episode, I talk about the 3 phases and

The other night, I had a dream about Bigfoot. And I tell you this, so that you can understand that embracing your uniqueness and weirdness is a great thing. It is where life becomes rich and colorful. If, on the other hand, you just want to fit in, then you will always have to suppress your uniqueness. You can't have it both ways. Enjoy the episode!

Two weekends ago, I spent a few hours pulling weeds.
This is something I would have despised doing just a few years ago.
Now, I relish connecting with my hands this way.
Plus, there were many lessons popping into my head as I was pulling.
I am fresh off vacation and had a few thoughts about life I wanted to share in this episode.
Your life is a manifestation of what is going on on the inside.
Your thoughts become words which become actions which become physical reality.
However, most people start with the outside and hope it affects their inside.
Do the opposite of what the majority of people do in life and you will be on the right track.

Reflecting on the Decision from a Year Ago to Re-Open Newell Strength
About a year ago, we were all over the news for our decision to re-open Newell Strength in defiance of the norm at the time.
In today’s episode, I share with you my mindset and some of the behind the scenes happenings that not many people know about.
Would I change anything about that decision?

I was pondering how I got to where I am at the other day and how funny it is to me that I have people reaching out to me from all over the world, literally, on advice on one thing or another.
That was never my intention.
My intention was to learn and still is to learn.
Combine that with living by my principles and here I am.
In this episode, I talk about some of the things that have gotten me to this point, use this information to best suit yourself.
Included in this episode:
-I am just a dude that reads a lot
-I am just a dude that invests in myself
-I am just a dude that experiments a lot
-I am just a dude that puts out a lot of content
-I am just a dude that lives by my guiding principles

If you were to come to me because a Hollywood Director came to you and told you they had a role for you, but you’d have to be 20-30 pounds fatter in just 6 weeks, here is the way I would advise you.
-Cut down and manipulate sleep
-Small, frequent meals and then some
-Beer
-Keep your water and sodium low
-Put you on a treadmill for an hour per day
Yes, it all seems counterintuitive, so you’ll have to listen to find out why.

Testosterone and Being a Dad
Just the other night, I gave a seminar on testosterone. Testosterone is the hormone that makes a man a man.
But, there are also other things that you to realize that make a man a warrior. And no, I am not talking about going out and picking fights.
You have a garden to cultivate and protect.

What are you going to do about them?
There’s always a silver lining and always a lesson to be learned, sometimes, many.
You only lose in life if you don’t know why you lost.

Back in 2005, my life changed for the worse, but ultimately for the better.
This is the first time that I have shared this story publicly, partly because it was a sensitive topic and a bit embarrassing.
In this episode, I talk about:
-The power of your mind in healing your physical body
-How even the darkest moments of your life are lined with silver

Let me preface this episode by stating that there is a BIG difference between knowing that to think (it’s easy because in most cases you are told and programmed what to think) vs. HOW to think.
It’s now December, 8 and half months since COVID began. At that time, many if not most people were totally unprepared mentally to deal with the fear and uncertainty that came along with it.
Well, supposed things got ‘worse’. What are you going to do then?
Start training your mind-set now. Your mind will create your world and your mindset will be the one thing that can help you weather any storm.
But, it won’t perform to its full capabilities if you’re just waiting and wishing.
Working on your mind is as important if not more so than working out with your body.
In today’s episode, I discuss:
-The importance of your morning routine
-Why focus will determine your beliefs
-The famous skill of reframing and some key questions you can use to reframe

In today’s episode, I want to shine light on other aspects of your health besides being told to hide out from others, distance and wear a mask.
When we look at something like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, we can see the different elements of health and why all must be addressed.
Listen to find out:
-Why sunlight is critical, especially right now
-Why walking will boost health big time
-Why levels 3 and 4 of Maslow’s pyramid are critical to your health
-How to recognize freeze mode so that you can get out of it
Remember, logic and emotion do not mix. When we are being told constantly to live in a state of fear, it can easily put a person into threat mode, making the rest of your health and life almost impossible to navigate.

One of the most frequent topics I get privately asked about has to do with fear.
Over the years it seems that people have come to see me as an expert in handling fear and I take that as an honor as I only teach what I do and have done.
Fear resides in your mind.
In this episode, I talk about:
-Why all fear is imaginary, therefore, not real
-The two big types of fear
-Your belief systems
-The ultimate fear for the human being
And more, enjoy the show!
In 2012, I hired a guy named Vince to Coach me as I transitioned full-time into Newell Strength.
It’s been 8 years and I am still with him. Why? Well, I see the tremendous value in the Coaching and I know the investment continues to pay off, month after month, year after year.
In today’s episode, I go over:
-Clarity: why your brain craves this to move on your ideas
-Focus: putting your attention where it needs to be
-Direction: as long as you are moving in the right direction, you’ll eventually get to where you want to be
-Strategy: strategies will withstand the test of time, tactics will not. Know the difference
-Support: you need someone to constantly help you put your right brain to work, so you can hold strong the vision that you are working on creating
Enjoy and spread the word!
In my freshman year of highschool, I remember being ridiculed in front of the class by a teacher of mine for no particular reason, during a talk she wanted me to give.
That set off a fear of speaking in front of others.
This continued for subsequent years until I decided to do something about it.
In this episode, I talk about my 3 step process for overcoming weaknesses:
-Acknowledgement
-Plan
-Practice
When you follow these 3 steps, you can turn any weakness into a great strength.
Enjoy the show!
This is not a lesson on fasting, although I do drop some golden nuggets in here about fasting.

-Learn my process of becoming leading expert

‘If you want to find the secrets to the universe, look no further than energy, frequency and vibration.’ -Nikola Tesla
I have some BIG news for you. The secrets to your universe aren’t in some hidden cave at the bottom of the ocean, locked in a vault.
Nope, they are right up there, in your brain.
And it begins with self-awareness.
In today’s episode I discuss:
-fear of change
-the 3 brains
-how to become more self-aware and why that’s so important
Enjoy the show!

There’s something in here for you if you are having trouble bringing your ideas to the world. And if you want, just reach out, happy to lend my ear.

Too many people make the mistake of thinking their workouts are solely for weight loss purposes.
The first question you have to address is, ‘What’s the goal of your workout?’
In today’s episode I cover:
-The approach to mindset in your workouts
-Why you should always be trying to raise your energy levels
-Why I listen to ‘lame’ music in my workouts
Decide you are going to be different and a whole new set of doors open up for you.
Enjoy!
In life, you don’t have success just because you want it.
Nor is going around, feeling like you ‘have to’ have it, going to work.
In today’s episode, I discuss the 3 levels of commitment psychology:
-You Want to (infantile ego)
-You NEED to (rebellion mindset)
-I WILL (a champion’s mindset)
In today’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, BK and I discuss:
-Turning 40
-Fasting and the effects on gut health
-The great increase in energy you will see with fasting

It’s been a while since I went on one of my rants in a podcast, but today you are in luck.
In today’s episode:
-A sign I received from the universe
-Trying to build a business on a faulty foundation
-The pendulum of Karma
-Your unique stack and the power of it
-How they use fear and fear of judgment in covering COVID (mind map lessons)
Two weekends ago, I finished a book called the Circadian Code, which was authored by, ironically, Dr. Panda.
Some of the book was rudimentary, but as I got to the end there were about 10 pages of cool research that validated stuff I’ve been teaching in the Panda Program. Yes, this is the best eating system in the world if your goal is energy and permanent weight loss, but it’s nice to see my philosophy validated by a fellow expert’s book.
In today’s episode, I talk about some of the stuff that was within those 10 pages.
About 12 years ago, I learned from my Coach, Scott Abel, at the time, that the one thing people fear most is change, yet change is the only constant in life.
Isn’t that ironic?
Yet, it’s important for you to remember that the change isn’t random, it’s driven.
Everything that happens in the universe follows the law of cause and effect. Nothing escapes this law.
My mom has been giving me some of my old stuff and I came across some notecards from a speech I gave in 2007. In life, the most powerful weapon, which can be used for greatness, is your mind. Listen in for the talking points I spoke about then that hold true more than ever. Enjoy!
What is mindset and where does it come from? It it just chance? Nope, your mind is hardwired for the negative and once you recognize this fact of life, you can get to work on rising about the head trash that so many people get stuck in. Enjoy!
In this episode, I am back with my good friend, Brandon Kelly. In this episode, we discuss hitting the reset button in your life, fasting and turning 40. Enjoy the episode!
Be tough like silk. Doesn't seem to make sense on the surface. But then again, neither does the fact that life is most magical on the thin border between order and chaos. In today's episode, I dive into some of these concepts, taken from Jordan Peterson's book, 12 Rules for Life. Enjoy!
Daryn is a long time friend of mine. I reached out to him to start a series of discussions about getting to the root of the problem when it comes to issues that seem to repeat themselves amongst those that come from tougher childhoods, regardless of race. One of the main things is building trust amongst ourselves, rather than division, so we can give a helping hand up, rather than a hand out.
Take a 'fly on the wall' listen to my conversation with Brandon. This is how we rap off camera and this is what you'll see as more episodes of the two of us discussing concepts like less is more, roll out. Enjoy and share if you liked it!
In today's episode, I talk about the division that has come about since the tragic George Floyd incident. Two of my friends and staff members, Aliyah and Peaches, asked to have an open dialogue with me a few weeks ago and this was the result of that conversation. Remember, questions provide clarity, clarity is the only way we can move forward. Enjoy!
In today's episode, I break down the 4 chemicals of a happy brain, goal setting and the only true path to happiness. You may have to listen twice, but learning about your brain is one of the greatest ways to achieve your highest potential that there is!
In today's episode, I address the haters, including:
-Passive aggressiveness
-the 25% of people that love you
-Fake fitness pros not thinking fitness is essential
-15 minutes of fame
-Time and attention
Sometimes we need to hit the pause button.
In today’s episode, I encourage you to take a deep breath with me and observe.
Breathing is key to being present.
Being present is the key to living.
Today's episode was created from a place of love. I know in my heart what the correct course of action is at this point. It's time for those that are ready to move forward. But to do that, we need to understand the real fear. At this point, for most, it's not about fear of the virus; it's about fear of repercussions, fear of consequences and fear of judgment. In the meantime, the world is rapidly changing for the future of our children. Enjoy the episode!
In today's episode, I explore the concept of leaders asking questions. Leaders do not settle for the mainstream narrative when their gut tells them otherwise. Might they be wrong? Yes, of course, but they explore the possible angles. Enjoy!
In today's episode, I sit down with Dax Moy, the creator of Mind Map. He has had more of an impact on my Coaching career than anyone out there. Today's episode is pure gold and you'll need to have a notepad and pen ready to go. Enjoy!
In this continuation, I explore the numbers and ask you to just start asking more questions. What if the opposite of what you currently believe is true? And yes, that goes for anything in life. This is called 'emptying your cup'. Enjoy!
This is by far the most outspoken and passionate I've been on Unlocking Your Inner Strength; but I could no longer let the sheep run the narrative. Enjoy and disagree if you'd like, it's all good:) Start living through this situation with faith and not fear.
One of the big lessons I talked about last week was that we must become more aware of training our mindset.
In today’s episode, I talk about 4 inner beliefs that I live by. Ponder these and meditate on them, turn them into your strengths.
Remember, everything starts with your inner dialogue.
Here are 5 big takeaways thus far from this Corona situation:
-We need to focus on our health moving forward
-Your relationships. Do not take them for granted and find ways to grow them during these chaotic times.
-The downtime you have right now, enjoy it! Don't wish it by!
-An emergency fund. It's something you need for times like these that'll give you peace of mind. Find out why.
-Train your mindset. Mindset is what will make you rise to the top. If you wait until you are in the weeds, it's too late. You must always be training your mindset!
Fear is a survival response. In order to deal with fear, we need to understand it and define it.
In this lesson, I go over some simple things you can do to put your fear to rest.
We need clarity now more than ever.
3 things that lead to a threat response in our brain are
-too fast
-too slow
-lack of clarity
All three are present with the pandemic. Here's how you can deal with it.
Your brain will give energy to wherever your attention goes.
Therefore, you must be asking it the right questions during this time and putting the power of the open loop to your advantage.
In this lesson, I explain just how you can do that:) Enjoy!
As humans, we crave patterns, which is even more important right now. When routine is lost, it is easy to get into bad habits.
With week 2 of the Corona upon us, we need to address this coming week with discipline.
Also, in this video, I discuss the concept of slowing down and speeding up, depending on where you are feeling threatened right now.
Enjoy and ask questions!
