Today was Chris’ last day. We celebrate all that he’s contributed to the show by playing clips from his past 18 months on #JSAF. Hear one of his first times he was on the show. Plus, his hilarious “short list” for what he wanted to name his child. Also, find out what his wife and mother had to say about him when they were on as guests. Finally, things get V emotional when the two realize it’s their last break together.
Chris takes over the show since 9/4 will be his last show before he takes his sabbatical. We ask Jordin if she folds or wads. We travel with Miss B back to 1955 in her journal and Chris is scared they might take away his daughter but the Buzz family reassures him he’s doing alright.

Jordin’s brain did something really interesting to protected her from trauma on her drive to work this morning. Her crush from 6 years ago reached out via Instagram. From Fantasy Sports to Sally Mae, J&C list things they “don’t understand.” Finally, Jordin has to register her car and found a place that’ll take care of it, but it seems too good to be true.
Chris is back and explains how bad a COVID test hurts. During his recovery period he realized that his daughter “just wants to have fun.” Jordin was approached by someone on Instagram to be their “sugar baby.” To curb her “Restless Legs” she is trying CBD oil. Finally, they go over Buzzfeeds, “People who didn’t get the text responses they were expecting.”
There’s only one thing that will get Dustin on a pair of roller skates. Chris still isn’t feeling well. Jordin is afraid that she has early onset dementia. They talk about their favorite band t-shirts and who are the most popular bands to wear as fashion and not because you like them. Finally, Santa calls in and Jordin asks him all the burning questions she has about COVID-19 messing with Christmas this year.

Why aren’t bands doing more collaborations? Jordin can’t remember the name of something she’s trying to reference during “On This Day in History” so she asks for help. This is the third day Chris has picked her up because her car is in the shop — they contemplate her getting another car. Next, they report on if secondhand smoke spreads COVID-19? Finally, J tries to educate people on her biggest grammar pet peeve.
Does anyone use a radio as their alarm clock anymore? There’s an interesting rumor about voting and wearing a mask today. Jordin found out Chris call her his “co-host” during his TJ Miller interview — so she throws him in the hosting role for a bit. When they switch back, J talks about a weird email from her bank. Finally, they talk about “state demonyms” (what you call people from different states.)
Jordin has a musical brain fart and can’t move on until it is solved. Chris finds a loophole regarding his daughter’s first steps. Jordin is jealous that people are calling a new friend in her group, “The Funny One.” Finally, she thinks she’s found a solution to stop getting The National Enquirer delivered to her house.
Chris forgot some important details from a text he sent yesterday. Slimfast’s COVID test is being displayed in the studio. Jordin watched Baseball yesterday and it felt “fake.” They try to play the new Billie Eilish song. Jordin has a vapid issue and Chris has a very emotional one — that dichotomy is prevalent on the textline, too. Jordin is back and explains what happened on Tuesday. Chris introduces #BuzzFam to a Banger from “Social Repose.” They go over some of Shakespeare’s famous insults and try to use them in a modern context. After news, they get into the weird seeds that people have been receiving in the mail. Finally, there is a chat about how popular the roller skating resurgence has been lately in KC.
Chris hasn’t see “The Wizard.” Jordin misses an important detail to an event that happened “On This Day in History” and Chris punishes her for it. J updates about her psychic reading last week. Chris hasn’t seen a lot of millennial cult-classic movies. After a new video pops up online of the inside of Sauer Castle, J&C disagree on her continuing the idea of restoring it.
Mon 7/27/20 - Supalonely Supermarket Sweep Jordin doesn’t remember a very prominent person in Fleetwood Mac. Chris gets his awards mixed up. They talk about the 90’s game show “Supermarket Sweep.” Then, Chris grabs Jordin’s shopping list and does commentary just like they do on the show. The two continue their debate on how to pronounce “Beabadoobee.” Finally, Chris did a great job with his comedian interview on friday — Jordin says she would have hung up on the guy one minute in.

Jordin is having an amazing morning and almost nothing can break her spirit. Chris asked for a simple favor yesterday and J wouldn’t do it. The two talk about sibling rivalry. Jordin is seeing her psychic tonight so she asks the text line to send some questions to ask. Chris presents them. Finally, a text comes in that challenges them to play M.A.S.H.
Chris tests Jordin’s memory of a Green Day song. A member of the #BuzzFamily sent a weird cat video that they said “made them immediately think of JSAF.” After playing a banger called “Care” by “Beabadoobee” they realize the artist also sings on POWFU’s “Coffee For Your Head” song. J challenges Chris to load Beabadoobee’s version of “Coffee” in a very short time for $20 — he does, but there are hiccups. #BuzzFamily votes on if he deserves the money.
Lily Allen’s “Smile” has been trending. Chris’s sweet tooth is tested. A member of #BuzzFamily sent Jordin a TikTok about making restaurant-style ranch. She sends Chris to HyVee to get the ingredients. Finally, she mixes it and they try it live.

Jordin made a huge breakfast mistake. Chris overshares about his sex life. A website explains perfectly how we should be treating your masks. The team try to figure out the best store bought ranch to have in your fridge as a default. Jordin reveals how she makes hard decisions. Finally, Chris admits what he does in the morning to get in the right headspace to do a radio show with Jordin.
Everything seems really depressing but we aren’t going to let that get us down. Jordin got drunk last night. “Maskne” is a real thing. Jordin didn’t check a photo before she posted it and now she may have to move. Chris leads the conversation about the trending hashtag #ItsAConspiracyTheory. The two go over mundane things they enjoy. Finally, Jordin takes a moment to talk about the importance of taking care of your mental health right now and resources to reach out to if you aren’t feeling well.

It’s the last day Mercury is in retrograde and things are crazy. Jordin defends Coldplay. Chris doesn’t like the texture of fruits and vegetables so he tries them in baby food form. On this day in 1902, air conditioning was invented. Finally, cats may love Jordin, but dogs do not — and Chris tries to help her fix that.
There was a torrential downpour this morning. Chris sent an S.O.S. text before the show. Jordin has a problem with the new “Unsolved Mysteries.” They announce that the show has been renewed for another year. Chris’ daughter is starting to become defiant. Finally, J+C share their “ten most frequently used emojis” and have to explain what they use them for.
Jordin talks about her float trip over the weekend. A woman on TikTok says everything you wish you could say to your boss when they ask you to work on the weekend. Since “The Washington Redskins” are changing their name, Jordin lists other things that are red that they could change it to. Finally, MySpace has been trending and the two reminisce on what that social media platform was like.

Jordin’s therapist gives her surprising advice. J and C type “Do I” into Google and autofill gives them drastically different results. “COVID Couture” is a thing now. Chris twerked at 6:03am. Nobody likes having to find that stinky item in their fridge. Jordin makes up a word but swears it’s real. For #Mortified, J got a “cryptic” email from someone who said can connect her to the girl she “Catfished” twenty years ago —then someone texts in they think this storyline is fake. Finally, the team talk about tattoos and what lyrics they would get on their bodies.
Twitter scared the hell out of everyone first thing this morning. Jordin was late to work — and has an explanation. The two-faced kitten at KC Pet Project unfortunately passed away last night. Jordin’s sad firework tweet last night was because she was “friendzoned” by her crush. Finally, Chris opens up about having family members who have tested positive for COVID, and has a message for people who think this pandemic isn’t real.

Jordin used a newspaper archive to research Sauer Castle —and hit a gold mine of info including underground tunnels and buried treasure. Chris deciphers something important. Finally, the two talk about their plans for the three-day weekend.

Chris is very proud of his pool. The TV in the studio is total garbage. To prove a point, Jordin says she doesn’t think men should have public restrooms — Chris defends. There’s a small problem with some local restaurants having their menus as QR codes. Jordin reads random notes from her phone. Finally, J&C were challenged to “Face Swap” because the #BuzzFamily thinks they look related. (That’s what the podcast photo is of.)
Jordin was up late last night working on something. Chris hates a popular food — and a certain Buzz song makes him want a convertible. Jordin reads a list of things she “never thought she’d say again — but did last night during her drag performance practice.” Chris is having a hard time remembering something and asks for help — and they come through. Finally, J reads the funniest tweets from the trending hashtag “#IdRather_______ThanVoteForTrump.”
Jordin can’t stop saying the word “exactly” —and Chris is allowed to punish her for it. The co-creator of “Cards Against Humanity” has stepped down so J+C use the actual game to find the “real reason why he left.” For Mortified: Jordin tells the story of J.L. (the girl in KC that she Catfished when she was a teen.) They read “J.L. and Gavin’s Love Story” off of a 1999 website found using The Way Back Machine. Chris and his wife are trying to find a compromise. Finally, Jordin reads and sends off an apology email to J.L.
Jordin was missing something very important in her dream last night. Chris’ daughter is getting really good at piano. The team break down why Jordin feels so much shame about Catfishing someone (as a boy) in KC when she was 18 — also, we learn the name she used . Finally, Chris pissed someone off with the way he worded a news story, and they talk about it.
J & C had very different weekends. Jordin had the best Uber ride ever. Chris tries to recall all the Fast and Furious movies. The announcers at The Belmont Stakes use english, but no one can decipher what they are saying. Jordin uses an online generator to name a horse after each member of The Buzz’s on-air staff. Finally, the two go over the ways they’ve changed for the good (and the bad) with the #JanuaryToJune challenge.
Chris has the day off — Dustin steps in. He doesn’t know what he’s getting from his “daughter” for Fathers Day. Since we haven’t been to concerts in a minute, it’s getting hard to remember the name of venues. Jordin wants to take part in the #DontLeaveMeChallenge on TikTok.
Mercury is officially in retrograde: During “On This Day In History,” Chris says something that Jordin doesn’t agree with, and they stop to discuss it. A trending story about #OfficerKaren sends Jordin into a monologue about trying to understand where someone is coming from before you judge them. Finally, Chris is excited about his first Fathers Day, and J wore a dress for the first time in 19 years.
Jordin had to call 911 this morning. A drag performer was assaulted yesterday while performing on a local drag show — and it was caught on film. Chris pays his water bill really weird. Finally, Jordin has a new kitchen appliance that’s been sitting, unopened on her counter for 3 weeks.

Jordin’s afraid of what will happen on Thursday when Mercury goes into retrograde. She needs very personal information from Chris. A car with a Buzz Sticker was stolen over the weekend — and we need to find it. Jordin is nervous for her first (and only) drag performance in a few weeks. Finally, Jordin reads the heavy news article from April 12, 1882 regarding the final moments of Levi Harrington’s life. He was a KC man wrongly accused (and then immediately lynched) for supposedly killing a police officer in 1882.
Jordin witnessed a miracle this morning. She catches Chris up on her amazing birthday and the fact that she’s so thankful to be part of the KC community. Chris got a haircut and had a garage sale this weekend. Finally, with the desecration of The Levi Harrington Memorial Plaque over the weekend in The West Bottoms, Jordin digs up the original news article describing the horrific events that happened.
THE SURPRISE IS: Stacie and Dustin joined. We find out what each have been up to since March. Jordin reads her birthday card out loud. Southern MO woke up to tornado sirens. Jordin had a weird noise in her apartment. For the first time since quarantine began, Chris will get to see the old lady that he drives around. Jordin isn’t “emotionally ready” to break in a new pair of Vans. Finally, Chris had one of those “and it got worse” moments — that keeps going…and going…and going…
Chris thinks someone’s been smoking in the studio. Jordin apologizes for trashing TikTok last week, and explains how it has helped her really understand the current movement. She also explains her position on the protests. Chris isn’t getting a pool anymore. Finally, Jordin’s “hell” is a place where she has to explain tech to her parents for eternity.

It was a disturbing drive to the work this morning. Jordin is apparently writing her memoir. Chris keeps seeing something disturbing on his street. Jordin tries to give local headlines a “National Enquirer Spin.” Everyone thinks J&C are related. Jordin wants to write the official graduation anthem for The Class of 2020.
Jordin can’t decipher a note she left herself yesterday. Her mom has an odd response to a meme. Chris lists a few things his daughter is doing that scares him. Jordin thinks she saw a “sign”. Chiefs tickets go on sale today. J & C are getting weird targeted ads after working on “The Butthole Song” yesterday. Chris pulls a total “dad move.” Jordin fills out a mad lib about her mom for Mother’s Day. Finally, Chris reads another entry from Miss B’s (the 93yo he drives around) journal. This one is about a possible musical prodigy being in her family.
Chris was creepy this morning. Jordin’s heart is broken that public pools are probably not going to open up this summer. They work on adding music and lyrics to the viral video “What’s Inside a Butthole?” Finally, Chris found the old AOLIM sounds, and Jordin realizes she has a physical reaction to some of them.
Is there a wrong time to brush your teeth in the morning? Jordin found a song written by an 8 year old that she can’t get out of her head. There was a very creative virtual event in KC yesterday called, “Driving Miss Daisy.” Chris quizzes Jordin on slang. Finally, she present songs that fit almost every situation anyone has felt during COVID-19.
People have asked some ridiculous questions about Cinco de Mayo. Jordin appeared to be stalking someone at the grocery store. Chris’ daughter is advanced for her age. They talk about the new show “Hollywood” on Netflix. Finally, they dig deeper into a weird and very popular ant group on Facebook.
First day back and they can’t tell if it’s a dream or real life. Chris’ family “quaran-cleaned” their house. Jordin dusts off her “cat translator” and finds out how Blanche really felt about their 42 days together. Later, they go over weird Facebook groups that have lots of people in them.
