Redcoat Radio ran on Bay Radio, Aberystwyth University's Student Radio Station between 2012 and 2015.
Hosted by three intrepid adventurers (and later one work experience boy), they discuss everything and nothing. There's a whole lotta nothing.
This is a podcast version of the full show; all banter, no music. Unfortunately, some episodes are lost to time, such is the way of things. The good news is, a good chunk survived and is ready to be listened to now!
Lemme just count you in...
Okay, so that wasn't quite the last of the Redcoat boys. Like any epic film, there's a post-credits scene. On the 1st June 2015, Bay Radio hosted their 'Shut it Down' event, signalling the end of the broadcasting year, and the boys took part to say goodbye to the station, and to play News or Nonsense one last time.

It's the penultimate show this week (29/04/2015), and the boys finally get to see a full trailer for Star Wars Episode 7. Meanwhile, Nathan continues his attempt to will Fallout 4 into existence, Dan casts an eye over the Download Festival line-up, and there's a lot of excitement for Mad Max: Fury Road.
It's just Kieran and Alex this week (15/04/2015), but there's no shortage of things to talk about! The boys catch up after the Easter holidays, Kieran imposes book superiority on the 'How to Train Your Dragon' series, Alex buys Bloodborne, and there's this little TV series called Daredevil that's just come out...
This week (18/03/2015), the boys react to the announcement of Star Wars: Rogue One, Nathan shares his particularly hot takes on the Clone Wars TV series, there's rumblings from Nintendo about some new handheld console to replace the old Wii U, and Kieran eats a lot of pizza.
This week (11/03/2015), there's an awful lot going on. Bay 24 is just around the corner, as are the general election debates. Meanwhile, the boys try to tick off the official Aberystwyth graduation bucket list, and Jeremy Clarkson punches a man.
No Nathan this week (04/03/2015), so it's just like old times! The remaining Redcoats look forward to this year's E3 conference, Community Season Six, and keep the Half Life 3 hype alive.
This week (25/02/2015), Dan, Alex & Nathan discuss seeing Enter Shikari live, Kieran gives his verdict on the finale of Parks & Recreation, and there's an in-depth discussion about childhood cartoons. And almost some violence too.
Sometimes, technology has a bad day. And on this particular day (11/02/2015) it decided to cut off the second half of the show. Which is a shame, because the bits it kept were all about Bethesda's first-ever E3 conference (and everyone's hope about a possible Fallout 4), the rumour of introducing Spider-Man into the MCU, and graduation plans.
The second half must have simply been too good to live.
The day of reckoning hath come upon us. And by "us", I mean Nathan. And by Nathan, I mean Nathan's Eyebrow. And by "day of reckoning", I mean razor.
This week (04/02/2015), Nathan finally pays the price for his hubris, there's talk of the Superbowl, and everyone goes ravenous for Game of Thrones Season 5 trailers.
This week (28/01/2015), the boys catch up after Christmas, moan about exams, and go wild over crazy Kickstarters and potato salad.
This week (10/12/2014), Putin is doing naughty things in Ukraine, Kieran sheds light on Far Cry 4, there's some excitement about the announcement of No Man's Sky, and the lads talk about their Christmas plans.
This week (03/12/2014), the chaps fawn over the teaser for Star Wars Episode 7 and leaked material from what would become Assassin's Creed Syndicate, whilst Nathan does some fawning of his own- specifically over Pedro Pascal.
Look, this episode was really difficult to edit round. I tend to cut the music and any segues around it, but considering this episode (26/11/2014) is entirely based on Enter Shikari and an interview with one of the band members, you'll forgive me if it's not quite as slick as usual.

Now into their third year (first broadcast 26/11/2014), the boys react to the announcement of the Halo: Master Chief Collection and preview the Aberystwyth v Bangor Battle of the Bands, whilst Alex reviews some new music albums.
In their final show of second year (09/04/2014), neither Dan nor Nathan deign to grace the studio with their presence. However, something much more interesting is present instead: Stefan's back!
Also feat. Liam Neeson's eternal influence on the show, Alex's relationship with South Park, and a look forward to 2014's summer of games.
This is Stefan's last appearance on the show, so I just wanted to thank him for his friendship, support, and for doing his best Jagger in the worst possible situation.

This week (12/03/2014), it's awards season as the boys trawl through the video game BAFTAs and discuss their own awards hopes, as well as another round of News or Nonsense and discover a rather musically-inclined avian.
This week (26/02/2014), it's definitely a show of two halves. The first hour, the boys discuss their hopes for Disney's Star Wars, the ongoing situation in Ukraine, Pokemon, and Kim Jong Il's sporting prowess. The second half... well, you'll see.
This week (04/02/2014), the boys do something a little off-brand. They talk about sport. Well, for a bit. They cover the 2014 Superbowl, Sochi Winter Olympics and Catholicism before delving back into video games and the first ever Redcoat slap bet.
This week (29/01/2014), the boys discuss their Christmas escapades, discuss the Gallagher brothers' bar dreams, zombie games, Assassin's Creed, and yet another tussle between an Australian and a shark.
In this "Christmas" episode (11/12/2013), the boys delve into even more Fallout rumours, the curious case of an impostor interpreter, China's invisibility cloak, and Kieran's Muppet tendencies.
Editor's note: As it's the end of term, the guys are a bit buzzed on Generic Energy Drink, and as such get a bit rowdy sometimes. This affects the audio quality in places, but the content is the same level of wacky as always. Enjoy!
