Songwriter & (reluctant) singer specialising in classic rock compositions. A guitarist first and foremost, but who loves using songs as a vehicles to tell stories and illustrate them with guitar chords and melodies. Key influences, Ritchie Blackmore, Alex Lifeson, Gary Moore, Steve Vai. Debut album just finished after 10 years hard effort. To Hell & Back is a bit of a biopic influenced by events and influences I have experienced or witnessed. Every song has a story behind the story. I plan to release it under my own label Energy Music Ltd and self distribute. The next album will be more AOR with the addition of keyboards and less dark and more melodic compositions in the Journey/Foreigner. Hope it doesn't take another 10 years !

I'll probably write a book on the song writing process as I think there is something in there that would help others get started writing, irrespective of Genre.
