In a healthy relationship, we prioritize and value each other's well-being. However, navigating a partnership with a partner who struggles with substance abuse can be incredibly demanding. The impact on those closest to the addict is varied and profound. They may experience self-blame, feelings of shame, dwell on past memories, and attempt to make sense of the addict's behavior. Their unwavering hope for positive change can become incredibly draining for the individual involved. It's during these challenging times that we must come together, support one another, and seek a deeper understanding of why this struggle looks the way it does. Why we fail, and how to fix that.
Christine's Tips and Tricks:
1) Get ultra clear on your goals and break them down
2) Discover the feeling you would like those realized goals to illicit.
3) Gather evidence of all the ways you practiced this goal in the year prior
4) Write down how you are equipt and how you plan to execute these goals. What skill sets do you already have?
5) Start low and go slow
6) Create space for breaking the habit when needed/desired
7) Recreate the identity of the person going into the new habit.

In this episode we discuss a mother’s struggle with postpartum depression and how she found
strength in her own story. By sharing her vulnerability with others and moving through these
challenges, she attained hope. With grace and a new found confidence she was able to
embrace motherhood and focus on the special moments of being a mother. Which is one of the
most important roles she would ever experience in her life.
Michelle Klatt along with her friend Kayla bell, who also went through her own experience with
postpartum depression, created MotherMayI. MotherMayI is both a space to connect and share
stories as well as an apparel line. The apparel line showcases positive affirmations and sayings
such as “ May I be kind” and “ May I trust in myself” printed on each item of clothing to empower
mothers and remind them of the power and strength they hold within themselves.

Join Brittany and Sarah as they discuss the different types of change; the importance of accepting change; mistakes and humbleness; and our relationship with past, present, future.
Have you ever felt like a part of you wants to go out with friends but a part of you wants to stay home? We all have these different parts, and getting to know them allows us to connect more with our Self. This conversation is inspired by Richard Schwartz' book "No Bad Parts: Healing Trauma & Restoring Wholeness with the Internal Family Systems Model".
Progress is a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and moving towards your purpose. On this journey, it
is helpful to use the tool of awareness and reflection. It’s important to reflect on our accomplishments
and also our defeats as both can contribute to our growth.
Connection with purpose can offer direction in moving forward as you embrace your truth and the
meaning it holds for you. Join Sarah and Dawnali as they explore what it means to “Be A Work In
Progress” and how to continue to walk your path of truth.
We hold meaning in the connections to our experiences and what they mean for us.
Finding a place for this meaning that is connected to you personally, is what will give it “meaning”. If
we are looking outside ourselves, comparing ourselves to others, then it may be difficult to find
purpose in this for you.
Join Brittany and Dawnali as they explore making meaning through life priorities, where we focus our
energy and how we can relate these experiences to the meaning they hold for us.

This month is about improving the underdeveloped aspects of ourselves. It’s a good month to use playfulness and ease as we make transitions in and around us.
Accepting life on life’s terms and not resisting what you cannot or choose not to change is learning to face reality just as it is. In this episode Brittany and Dawnali explore different techniques to help manage accepting reality. Radical Acceptance, Willing Hands, Half Smiling and Turning The Mind are all tools that empower you to cope with difficult emotions and accept what is.
This month invites us to look at our relationship to the physical: money, our environment, our body. It is also eclipse season; a time for transformation.
At Shift Intuit, we work from a holistic perspective, meaning we acknowledge and honour all parts of a person: the physical , mental, emotional and spiritual. One way to look at all of these moving parts and how they work together is the chakra system. In striving for balance , too much or too little energy in each of the chakras creates imbalance.
Join Brittany and Dawnali for an overview of the different chakra systems. For more information check out Brittany’s Blog post “Healing with the Chakras” on our Shift Intuit Page.
What wounds are coming up for you to heal this month? What fire do you have to walk through to gain clarity and find your inner strength? Pay attention to the doors you are walking through and the magic that connects you on the other side.April is the beginning of the Astrological New Year and will bring us into a new cycle with new beginnings.
Join the entire Shift Intuit team as they discuss new personal truths gained through life experience. We discuss the power of honesty; new learnings through transitions; the existence of different experience or even polar experiences at the same time; and personal unique markers that illustrate right direction in life.
This month brings deeper knowledge of the self; new ways of looking at things; and the enhanced potential of more balance.
Fear can hold us back from so many wonderful things in our lives. Acknowledging this fear, gently feeling into it and connecting to what it means for you, can create a sense of power far greater than fear itself. Where do you notice fear in your life? How is it holding you back?

There is a lot of "2" energy this month! Listen in as Gisele and Brittany unpack the energy of February, including an opportunity to heal at the beginning of the month.
How do you start off a new year? Brittany and Dawnali explore the difference between a resolution and an intention- a small shift that has a big impact. Also enjoy a short guided meditation on connecting to what you want for 2022.
January 2022 holds some great energy. You may be called to connect to your inner knowing, set some boundaries and lay the groundwork for the year ahead. There are many challenges people will be facing but the transition will be one of ease. As long as you stay connected to yourself, keep grounded with intention and in alignment with your truest authentic self. In 2022 we are stepping into a deeper connection with ourselves and are being asked to discover what we've learned over the last few years. 2022 is connected to the energy of the divine feminine and could be a great year for emotional healing and connection. The key to navigating this next year is hope, optimism, and a good set of boundaries with yourself and others. Protect your desires and your energy and trust that you're on the right path.
In this podcast Brittany and Sarah discuss their birthdays and personal realizations for the year. Join them as they talk about what peace feels like, the importance of being a mother, a framework for decision making, and much more.

This podcast with Brittany and Dawnali will touch on the many transitions we go through in our lives. Changes can be very scary even when they are positive. Changes can be small, such as having to take a different route to work because of construction or changes can be big, such as starting a new job, the birth of a child or the loss of a loved one. Regardless of the change we encounter, it is a process and this process is a transition we must work through to move forward. Whether we go with the flow following the current downstream or we resist the current and get caught up, the change will take place. Learning to adjust to this change can make the transition a little easier to manage.

Cultures across the globe have used stories as a way to pass down teachings, make sense of the world, and for entertainment. Today, stories still play an important role in our lives. They show up everywhere, from social media stories to the beliefs we hold about ourselves. Those beliefs are simply stories you tell yourself over and over again.
Notice what genre the story you tell yourself is. Does it read like a romance (“a prince/ss is coming to save me from my dull, dreary life. If I am in a relationship, I will live happily ever after”). Or maybe it’s more of a thriller (“everyone is out to get me. Even if things are going well, the other shoe will drop eventually”).
Ask yourself: Is the story real? Is it helpful? Remember that stories can change.
On the next episode of the Shift Intuit podcast, Dawnali and Brittany deep-dive into the different ways stories show up in our life, and how you are the expert of your own story.
Our strengths- our superpowers- sometimes start out as perceived weaknesses or hurts in life. On the upcoming episode of the Shift Intuit podcast, Dawnali and Brittany explore tapping into your superpower to find your passion.
Most of us are naturally adept at pointing out our weaknesses, but can be hard pressed to name a strength. If that’s the case: ask a friend! Guaranteed, someone else has appreciated or valued something about you, and has just never told you.
P.S. Make sure you tell someone else what you love or appreciate about them, too. We all have superpowers. Sometimes we just need someone to shine a little light on them.
