Welcome to The Messiah's Sons & Daughters podcast! My name is Kayla Good and I am the founder and host of TMS&D. In 2020, I started recording podcasts from my room to help people discover their identity, purpose, and worth in Christ. If you're reading this, you are so precious to God because you were bought with a special price: the blood of Jesus! You, daughter or son of the Messiah, are Royalty. Tune in weekly on Anchor, Apple or Spotify! I pray that as you listen, you will discover that you are loved.. but most importantly, you are HIS! xoxo Kayla Good

The human body's natural response to a life-threatening or difficult situation is to choose between two options: fight or flight. Sometimes, in our relationship with God, we tend to pick one of these responses. In this episode, let's talk about why we run away from God and how do we get back to Him.

In this first part of  "Mental Health Series," I shared my testimony of how God took off the labels that the world and medical doctors placed on me during a very dark time in my life when I was battling anxiety and depression; and gave me a new name: His daughter, His beloved, and His precious one.

In today's episode, I sat down (virtually) with my great friend, Mandy, and we talked about how we are having an authentic relationship with God. During this whole quarantine, we've also been having a lot of great revelations about God's character and how He is working in our life. So today, as we reflect on the work that He is doing, we also hope to encourage you in any way that you may need today. Don't forget that you are loved, but most importantly, you are HIS!

In today’s episode, I discuss how when we try run to the well of world to fill us and satisfy us, whether that be a relationship, or drugs, social media, we tend to be left running dry. But God wants us to run to Him for living water that never leaves us dry or empty. I even talk about how some of our greatest moments of healing and redemption happen when we are alone with God.

Have you ever wished that life had a weather forecast to let you know when a storm's coming? So do I, and unfortunately, there is no weather forecast for life's storms. When storms hit us, we tend to be unprepared and completely knocked off of our feet. In today's episode, I'll be discussing some practical tools to apply to your life when you're in the middle of a storm. We'll be taking a look at two particular accounts in the Bible of when Jesus and His disciples were actually in the same place that you may be in right now: right in the middle of a storm.

In today's podcast, I hosted a "chit chat" convo with many different seniors from across the United States on our thoughts and concerns regarding graduation and the rest of our senior year, how we're feeling about this current pandemic, and some words of encouragement for any other seniors out there from a standpoint of faith.

During this current COVID-19 pandemic, some of us may be asking the question: where are you, God? And I get it. In fact, I'm right there with you. We are living in some very uncertain times right now as a nation. But, friends, I encourage you that God is near. In fact, He's always been by your side. He has never left you, and will never leave you or forsake you. In today's podcast, I reassure you of the unchanging nature of our God. His Word says that Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Through scripture and some words of comfort, I remind you that 1. YOU are not alone, 2. God is with you, and 3. God is still good, and still moving, even in the midst of this current pandemic. So, friends, let's be encouraged today as we lean into God's unchanging love for us during this time. I pray that you are encouraged as you listen, and that God surrounds you with His love, peace, and true comfort like only He can.  Don't forget that YOU are loved, but most importantly...you are HIS! xoxo Kayla Good
