The first project was with FiLTHY LuCre Films on their short documentary Hairstory about black afro hair where they featured clips of here latest after lockdown 1 hair cut.
The second project was commissioned by staff at Bruce Castle Museum where they've used her updated 2020 version of the hair poem that she orginally wrote back in 2013 and was also featured in their AfroComb Exhibition. The poem is about being proud of the hairstyles you choose to wear.
Visit https://www.haringey.gov.uk/culture/black-history/learning/schools to watch the documentary and download a copy of the poem and be inspired to write or film your own hair story.
