We should not fold when it seems that we have been dealt a bad hand. We need to realize it is part of God's plan and a chance for us to exercise our faith.
You have already been promised salvation and blessings. All you need to do is confess and seek God to receive of those promises. We need to stop allowing doubt and fear to separate ourselves from God.
We shouldn’t get too distracted that we forget to give God praises for all He has done and is doing.
We need to praise God in spirit even when we don’t feel like it physically, because this is a persevering faith that will see the hand of God.
If we would walk by sight and feelings many of us would have turned away long ago; but instead we walk by faith because we know God is able to do all things and He is faithful to us in all and through all things.
Let no man, nor the adversary rob you of your faith, for our Lord says, “Be not afraid, only believe.”
As many remain dead, stand up among them and arise in faith, and you will see the light of Christ shine forth in your life.
We should give without expectations, just as Christ freely gave Love without the expectation of a return of the Love. WE must receive God's love and in turn give that same Love freely without strings or expectations to everyone we come into contact with daily.
People have expectations in this life. The question is what do you Expect? What do you expect from God, from the world, from people? We need to understand how those expectations affect our lives.
*We’ve got to be willing to give up the things of this life to take on the things of God.
*Grace has been given unto us for mercy, but it was never given to be abused and mistreated.
*We need to gather as much oil for ourselves as we can here and now, so that at the coming of the Lord our lamps will be shining bright and we will have an abundance stored up in our vessels.
*We can make all the plans we want, but it is God that will direct our steps where He wants them to go. How important must it be then for us to pray the will of our Father in all things.
*We do not want to live our lives apart from Christ and find out in the end how much we wasted that He blessed us with and entrusted us with.
*There are many out there who need to do as the prodigal son and come to their senses and see that they need to return back to their Father, and He will receive them with open arms and rejoicing in heaven with all of His angels.
*Just as the father ran to his lost son before he even got to the gates, so too did Christ suffer for us and die outside of the gates of the great city, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood and they would be reconciled back to their Father.
We should have an attitude that shows that we are rejoicing and thankful for all that God does for us.
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is now at work in His people to bring about the will of God in their lives.
God has freely given us many spiritual blessings, but they do us no profit if we never put them to use and walk in them that we may obtain the fullness of what God has sent them to do.
We can not forget where God brought us from and what He brought us through, that our faith may always be strengthened in God in remembrance of all the works His hands have done.
The longer we hold on to something to work it out in our own strength, the more we hinder what God is already able and waiting to do by His own power and Spirit
God wants us to set our priorities so that we seek Christ first and allow everything to come after. When we are focused on God first, you will begin to see your situations as small tests instead of major set-backs. We can trust God to help us and guide us through the situation so that we can be better set up to serve and follow Christ.
We must have a desire to dwell within God. God has made it possible for anyone to Dwell within His presence, but wee must make the choice to do it. We have been given the authority to not allow spirits to have dominion over us.
We need to hold onto the thoughts that uplift and encourage. We need to renew our minds through prayer, praise and studying the word. Continued from prior week's sermon.
We need to hold onto the thoughts that uplift and encourage. We need to renew our minds through prayer, praise and studying the word.
Praise has the ability to tear down the walls that keep us from God. We need to allow God to choose what walls to erect to keep us safe. We need to stop allowing walls to keep us from what God has for us.
God has better for you when you make Praise part of your life. We need to Praise God through all times, even when things are tough. Out praise can dictate how and when God moves on our behalf.
We need to make sure that we have Praise in our lives. We need to make sure that we praise God in everything that we do, everywhere that we go, and with our attitudes!
When you begin to Praise God when fear sets into you mind, you will find that the fight is no longer yours. Your Praise sets up your victory, making it God's fight not yours. Give God Praise and Get out of God's way and you will see yourself victorious through any trial!
You have the Spirit within you when you make your confession of Faith. That Spirit allows you to have a close relationship with God. You need to focus on your relationship and not religion.
Do not allow negativity to take over your thoughts. You have control over what your mindset is and can be. You must choose daily to allow your mindset to be positive. Look at negative things and try to focus on how you can make them positive instead.
“Being Positive in a Negative World ” (pt 2)
We must look to God for rest and encouragement and not others or we will remain discouraged and burdened down by this life.
We need to fill our minds with the things of God so that we do not have the same view on life as the world does.
We have been given the mind of Christ, but we must be sure we take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ that way we may be able to discern God’s will in our lives.
When we go through a trial, we should know God has allowed it and that He already has a plan for you concerning it.
If we give place to the devil, we might end up allowing him enough room to corrupt our walk in God, our faith, and our praise which will ultimately corrupt our worship.
Just as the Psalmist David operated through His faith in God, so are we to walk by our faith in Christ that we may see God’s hand of provision through all the negativity of this world.
God has given us the measure of faith that we may tear down fear through our faith in Him when it tries to rise up against us.
We will have tests and trials in our lives, but we can be comforted in the fact that He is with us. We can remain positive in all negative situations and watch the Power move within our lives.
We have been promised Victory through Christ Jesus, but in order to have a victory you must have a battle. We need to realize though that through Christ we can overcome any trial. Start looking at your trial not as how you could fail, and instead look at them with Faith that you WILL succeed.
“ Guard Your Faith Diligently”
*Our hope is not determined by our surroundings or what we see, but instead by our faith in Christ for our future.
*Its easy to try and put faith in someone or something you can visibly see, but the only One that will never fail us or our hope is Christ Jesus. Only He will never let you down.
*Faith is trusting God even when everything around you tells you to give in. We must trust He is able and willing to answer our every prayer.
*When we have faith, there’s times where we will need to go forward even when it’s not pleasurable or satisfying to the comfortability of our flesh.
*When we stand firm in our faith in Christ, our faith will be rewarded. He is the rewarder of all who will diligently seek Him.
*Our faith must override every one of our senses, for God can do even the impossible and His faithfulness remains the same throughout every generation.
*We must remember that when we stand firm in our faith in Christ, our adversary will do anything he can and use anyone he can to try and deter us from our trust in the Lord.
“Never Stop Fighting the Good Fight of Faith”
——————————————————————————
*We need to press on in prayer even when everything seems to be out of control. We must never stop seeking after the Lord’s hand in all things.
*We all have a wilderness we go through at times like Jesus, but He has also promised to make a way even in the wilderness that we find ourselves within.
*The enemy can try and put barriers between you and God, but as God gives you the power to break through those barriers, He is also strengthening you even more.
*Jesus is not just with you through all of your struggles in life, but He also knows exactly what you’re facing and He is able to sympathize with us and sustain us through it all.
*The enemy will still fight you even when you’re in prayer, but God has given us the authority over all of his attacks against us.
*The Lord will never tire of supplying us with His grace; how much more then should we not tire of seeking His grace in all trouble and affliction!
*The enemy will try and hinder your fellowship with God, but he can never separate you from the love of God for us in His Son Christ Jesus.
God will honor your faith when you put it into action. But remember that the first step is always the hardest, but as you keep going you will find God using what you already have to help you get through. He will give you the knowledge, strength and ability to overcome.
You have all you need through your faith to make it through any situation. Your relationship with God through Christ, facilitated by the Spirit- has given you all the tools needed to be successful.
You must have a connection to God to obtain His power in your life. You must seek out that things that weaken your connection and look to repair them. Don't get close when you needGod, you should always looking to be close to Him.
Have a desire to have God's PRESENCE in your life, not His PRESENTS. We need to look ahead and be assured that God will take care of us as we face things and He will meet our needs when we have them.
Stand Firm and Follow
If we seek God above all things we have no need to be concerned of the things of this life.
God works all things together for our good, even when it may be a painful process at times. He knows what is best for us all.
Just as God was with Job in all of his trials, He will also be with you and deliver you through all things.
There are weapons that will come against us, but all we need is to trust God and watch Him cause each one to fail.
God wants fellowship with us, but we must be sure to not turn from and grieve His Spirit.
When we keep God above all things in our life, we can know without a doubt that He will bless us and cause us to be prosperous.
If we are doubting the promises of God, we are really doubting God and His faithfulness.
