Gratitude changes everything. So embrace a grateful mindset and heartset, focusing on what you have. Experience the mysterious magnetism that increasingly attracts what is good and aligns with God's purpose in your life.
To whom or what are we grateful? Can we be abstract or vague about gratitude?
I believe that as we are first grateful to our Creator, then we condition and position ourselves to be authentically grateful to others … in whatever context we relate to them: family, friendship, business/work, our place in the larger world, and so on.
Gratitude is like PRIMING a PUMP. Surprisingly, as we decide to be thankful, it releases a spring of gratitude, a flow of thankfulness.

I now bring the authority, rule, and dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ over my life today, over my home, my family, my household, my vehicles, finances, over all my kingdom and domain. I now bring the authority, rule, and dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ and the fullness of the work of Christ against Satan, against his kingdom, against every foul and unclean spirit—every ruler, power, authority, and spiritual force of wickedness, their every weapon, claim, and device. [At this point, I specifically name all foul and unclean spirits that I know have been attacking me, such as fear, doubt, accident, injury, death, the religious spirit, pride, arrogance, etc.] I send all foul and unclean spirits bound to the throne of Christ, together with every back-up and replacement, every weapon, claim, and device—by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and in his name. I command the judgment of the Lord Jesus Christ upon the heads of those that refuse to obey, and I send them to judgment, by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and in his name.

The Bible teaches that God is always faithful, that He’s always true to his word. Saints throughout history have affirmed it, and hymns and worship songs celebrate it.

There is a movement of men today going to “secular” sources for encouragement, coaching, and equipping concerning their masculinity. This includes Christian men. Bruce Colbert sees Kingdom principles in some of these sources.
The question is why does it seem the Church at large is behind the game in helping men to be better men in their families and homes?
And what about their sphere of influence and assignment from the Creator? What can serious Christian men do to be equipped and empowered in a meaningful way?

As Creator-King, God places his image in the earth in man and woman. Everyone has it as a baseline expression. And yet, in Christ, God's image goes to a higher level. This is heaven's secret sauce for influencing all things via us! Right here. Right now. The image of God is renewed in us through the Holy Spirit. The opportunity cost for negligence is way too high.

A personal note — Brian Del Turco here. I’d like to share a note, and I know that Matt Peterson would agree. Even more important than dates and the understandable concern to see this struggle end, a more significant focus is, “Lord, what are you asking of me during this time. In what ways can I change?”
And another question: “Lord, in what ways are you asking your Church to change?” Our leading focus should be on transformation … personally and together with other Christ-Followers. The Society of Jesus can then please the Lord and more powerfully influence the Society-at-Large.

On a recent morning, I was outside investing time with the Lord in the Word and prayer. I feel like the Holy Spirit gave me a fresh facet of insight about a popular verse - "Do not be conformed to this world (age may be a better translation), but be transformed by the renewing of your mind ..." (Romans 12:2). So I just did a flash recording on the spot. Here's the opportunity: we don't have to conform to this decaying age, but we can align now to the age that Jesus is bringing. And that has to mean more than we can imagine!

Janet Porter is a seasoned warrior in the movement to protect the lives of babies. The Ohio state motto is, "With God, All Things Are Possible." Through an indefatigable faith, Janet has been a "Possibility" Point Person in launching the nation's first "heartbeat bill" in February, 2011. After an 8-year faith odyssey, Ohio became the 6th state in the nation to pass and sign a heartbeat bill (April, 2019) -- a baby cannot be aborted if a heartbeat is detected. There are presently 15 states in the heartbeat bill movement. Janet's question: Will Christ-Followers be confined to the "Church Ghetto?" Or will they reshape society as salt and light ... releasing the life of Jesus?

Jesus reframes our belief about resurrection life IN THE NOW -- just like he did with Martha when her brother died. We're designed in Christ to "taste the powers of the age to come" in our day (Hebrews 6:5). And that includes the resurrection life of Christ! Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life" ... it's a now statement. The truth is that the resurrection is already on since Christ was raised by the power of God. Everything can be affected by his life. Relationships. A business. A project. Anything. And yes, someone who has died. The question is -- are we willing and obedient to be "coached up" by Jesus?

“Beginner’s mind” is a concept that comes from Zen Buddhism. I’m not a Buddhist, but this particular concept resonates with me. It’s a mindset, an approach to life that is open, boundless, limitless and infinitely wealthy. Interestingly, Jesus spoke of becoming a child again through the born again experience.

HIGHLIGHTS
Our mind easily becomes closed and limiting. We may feel secure and proud in our dogmatism. But it stifles life-force.
The key is becoming a child again. Not childish. But embracing fresh beginnings as a child would.
Much possibilities overflow in a child’s mind. The mind of a child innovates. A child will figure it out and find a way. The belief level soars, not yet jaded by the world of big-adult “expert” ideas.
Jesus spoke of this: “You must become like a child to enter my world, a higher dimension of living with new possibilities.”

I can live a better life on the outside if I invest in my life on the inside. We live from the inside-out . . . our internals shape and sustain our externals.
When I’m in a higher internal state, I sense renewed hope. Fresh energy seems to ignite. At times, my body can be energized. New ideas show up. I start imagining potentials -- both near and far. My faith is strengthened. I feel more authoritative. Like anything can happen.

Question for us: Has Christianity degraded as a movement from the powerful, uncomplicated, and original to the overly-complex and institutional … what Paul referred to as a form with no power? The core DNA element of Apostolic Christianity is the Gospel of the Kingdom. What is “Good News (the Gospel)”? The Good News is the announcement of the Caesar Christ -- Christ as King, God as King. This implies conflict.

Many of you have heard about American Pastor Andrew Brunson who was imprisoned in Turkey for 2 years. Pastor Andrew and his wife Norine served in Turkey for more than 2 decades where they established Izmir Resurrection Church. They openly shared Christ and also helped Syrian refugees – some of them Kurds.
In 2016, there was a failed coup attempt against the president, and in the crackdown which ensued, Pastor Brunson was falsely accused of being a CIA agent and plotting with Kurdish terrorists.

He was arrested in October 2016, three months after the coup attempt. He faced up to 35 years in prison if convicted of espionage.
Travis Weber was in the courtroom when Pastor Brunson was released on October 12, 2018. Within 24 hours he was in the Oval Office of the White House, praying for the President of the United States.

The DNA of the Church is Apostolic Christianity. DNA contains genetic information. When it's turned on, that information is expressed.
One of the key aspects of Apostolic DNA is an emphasis upon the Word or Kingdom teaching. "They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer" (Acts 2:42 NASB).
Authoritative teaching is an outflow of Jesus' Great Commission in Matthew 28: "... teaching them to observe all that I commanded you."

It's vital that we are established in truth. And we are to "contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints" (Jude 3).
Remember, the written Word always points to the Living Word -- Jesus Christ. "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these (the Scriptures) that testify about Me" (Jesus in John 5).

DNA contains genetic information or instructions. In a healthy organism, the DNA gets "turned on" and expressed. The design of the DNA will manifest unless there is a mutation or disease which suppresses the accurate expression of the DNA. In the history of Christianity, error and negative dynamics have been introduced which have worked against "Apostolic Christianity." But many believe that the Holy Spirit is restoring what Jesus envisions throughout the world today.

Kingdom power and fruitfulness = exponential power. Kingdom reality lives on an exponential plane.
Linear growth is a +1 progression ... 1 becomes 2 becomes 3 becomes 4 and so on. Exponential growth is a compound doubling ... 1 becomes 2 becomes 4 becomes 8 and so on.
If you take 30 linear steps, say 3 feet or a meter, you end up 30 meters away. If you take 30 exponential steps you end up a billion meters away. That distance can go around the Earth 26 times. The is the power of exponentials! ----more----

It has everything to do with a CHRISTO-CENTRIC faith experience and lifestyle. It's not man-centered. Or me-centered. Christ is the foundation of the Higher Design in our lives. In everything we become. In everything we do.
And he's the foundation of the Father's work in our world.
If we want to live with brimming, abundant life, a life that is above and beyond ... we must take up our cross and follow Christ.

A beginner’s mind will open us to new possibilities.
“Beginner’s mind” is a concept that comes from Zen Buddhism. I’m not a Buddhist, but this particular concept resonates with me. It’s a mindset, an approach to life that is open, boundless, limitless and infinitely wealthy.

Our mind easily becomes closed and limiting. We may feel secure and proud in our dogmatism. But it stifles life-force.
A beginner’s mind is a beautiful mind. It’s the mind of a child — questing, questioning, welcoming, learning. It is supple and receptive.
The key is becoming a child again. Not childish. But embracing fresh beginnings as a child would.
Much possibilities overflow in a child’s mind. The mind of a child innovates. A child will figure it out and find a way. The belief level soars, not yet jaded by the world of big-adult “expert” ideas.
Jesus spoke of this: “You must become like a child to enter my world, a higher dimension of living with new possibilities.”

Here's a Kingdom secret that few experience -- all things belong to you, as you belong to Christ. This is what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Corinth. "All things belong to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God" (1 Cor. 3). It's as we truly value and belong to Christ, that all things are ours!

It's stunning what Jesus said: "I will build my EKKLESIA." It was a secular Greek concept and word. The Romans adopted it as well. The meaning is a called-out assembly of citizens who gather. Their objective was to bring the rule and culture of the emperor to a new area.
Is Jesus looking for his church to colonize the earth with his world ... the Kingdom of God? If so, this is much bigger than attending church.

Jesus-followers are uniquely positioned to bring reconciliation into settings. The Apostle Paul wrote that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation from Father God. Reconciliation simply means to connect or put back together again.
Kim Snyder is an intercessor, someone who stands inbetween and bridges the gap. She's filled with love for the police. She's equally filled with lover for activists, protestors, and even rioters.
