Taking a closer look at the story of the Prodigal Son, Pastor J.R. helps us see that this story is the biography of every person in human history put into a parable. It’s the story of our relationship with God.
At different times in our life, we all have taken steps away from God and towards sin's broken promises. But one humbling truth remains, God still loves you even as you wander into the darkness. His plan is still in play! He doesn't wait until you come back with your life perfectly cleaned up, He loves you right where you are. This is a loving truth we can take refuge in! What a wonderful and loving God we have!
So no matter where you are, or what you've done - God is waiting for you to come home.
Based on what the Bible says about giving, there are two basic principles of giving: Always a portion. Sometimes a sacrifice.
Pastor J.R. dives into what this means for us as believers and getting our heart right with God when we're preparing to give. So many of the emotions we experience are dictated by the thoughts we think. And if we're not careful, we can end up trapped in our feelings - all because we don't know how to break free from the thoughts we're thinking, ultimately leading us into our battles of depression, anxiety, and panic attacks.

God's provision can be so much more than just financial. It can also be emotional, relational, physical, mental, or even spiritual. But in order to receive God's provision in our lives, it involves a few steps.
In his message, "TLF," Pastor Pete Hixson reveals to us that it's through trusting, listening, and then following God's direction that leads us to the place of God's provision.
And as we start to receive God's provision, we begin to realize that God will provide for you, God will provide through you, and that ultimately - God's provision for you is for you to provide for someone else.
Is there really a purpose to life? This is a question every single person has asked. And the answer has tremendous implications... Because if there is no purpose, we should just live our lives doing whatever we want, as so many people already do.
But what if there is a purpose to life and we're not just aimlessly here for no reason? What if the purpose of life is be a life that is loved and embraced by our Creator? And as we're changed by Him, we become a life that then touches a life - that then touches a life - that then touches a life.
In his message, "Making Ripples," Pastor Mike Breaux shares with us the significance of not only understanding this purpose of life, but also embracing it - as we then get to live life as the greatest adventure - in knowing we made an impact on the lives of others, based on the impact someone first made on us.
As followers of Jesus, God calls us to not only believe in Jesus - but to become like Jesus. Knowing how much we fall short, this can certainly seem intimidating, if not impossible. But becoming like Jesus has never been about earning a certain position before God - as Jesus has already completed this work for us; but instead practically working out our faith that God has already placed inside of us so that we can one day look back and see all that God has done through us.
In his message, "Looking Like Christ," Pastor Nate Clarke helps us understand that it is BOTH our faith AND our deeds that help us become more like Jesus when we obey, learn how to spiritually train ourselves, and remember that we have the perfect helper to guide us every step of the way.
Everyone is being led by someone. Some are led by sin. Many are led by others. Few are led by the Holy Spirit. But who we choose to follow will determine the outcome of our lives.
In his message, "A Spirit Led Life," Pastor Mike Santiago not only shows us where the Spirit leads us, but also explains how to be led by the Spirit - so that we can continue to become the people God has created us to be and experience the full life God desires for us to live.
Shame has a way of shutting us up.
We believe so many lies, such as - "I deserve this," or "People don't care," or "It's not worth mentioning," or "They're just going to look down on me." But the truth is everyone has something they're fighting in the background. And we all need people in our lives who've earned the right to be trusted who we can share with what's really going on. Otherwise, we're left to suffer in silence.
