Zach Windahl is the author of The Bible Study and creator of the brand Sunday. From collecting shark teeth and seashells to make into a small necklace business at the age of 7, to now impacting lives around the world through the tools he creates to help others deepen their faith. The journey for Zach started in Australia, studying the Bible for 9 months, 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. By the time he was done, he had cultivated 20 pages of notes per book of the Bible, that resulted in over 1,000 pages! When Zach returned, he taught others from those same notes over the span of 9 months. He continually felt compelled to create something with all this gathered information he had and did so in his parents basement back in Minnesota. It took him 9 months to re-write and 3 months to design what is now, The Bible Study. Soon after it was ready to print, he began pitching to investors and talking with friends & family that helped him support his product launch. In late 2019 after a team was established, Zach soon left his previous job and moved down to Miami. Now, The Bible Study has impacted the lives of over 30,000 individuals, and Zach himself continues to uplift and be a positive light in others lives!

Cole Hennen is a creative consultant, entrepreneur and student at the University of St. Thomas. At the age of 10 Cole started his first online business creating a blog about the Minnesota Vikings. He was able to work around some of the age rules in order to start his first business and continued the blog for 4 years, having the opportunity to interview Viking players along the way. Currently, Cole’s business revolves around Pinterest with over 200k monthly viewers, workbooks and creating online courses. His Pinterest account focuses on tips for creative entrepreneurs and his number one tip… is action creates clarity.

Glen Dall is the CEO of Apex North Business Coaching, a keynote speaker and co-author of the book, “Rock & Sand”. Glen’s journey started in suburban Detroit, where he started his adult career working on a Ford Motor Company assembly line. His next step was a test-driver for Jeep, which led to a succession of promotions within various departments of the company. At 26 he was recruited by the head of Jeep marketing for a role in that department, but when the executive learned that Glen had not attended college, he told him, “That’s too bad, company policy requires a 4-year degree. You would have been great.” Determined to grow and further his career, Glen decided to leave Jeep and the rest is history!
Ian Deloney is the lead designer for Social Butterfly, creative marketer, artist and podcaster. While in college at UMD pursing a Marketing and Graphic Design degree, Ian started doing freelance work as a graphic designer. Realizing that doing freelance work was more like running a small business he began working for Social Butterfly (creative agency based in Minnesota) doing part-time work while still in college, but shortly turned into full-time once he graduated. Spencer Sulflow is a content creator and editor. His love for video started in high school when some of his friends started making basketball trick shot videos for YouTube. Being the one that loved tech the most, he chose to take on the camera and video edits. From there he experimented with wrestling highlights and travel videos and by the time college was in full-swing it was a primary source of income for Spencer. After graduation, he had enough consistent work to be full-time under the business name of “Flow Media LLC”. Currently his main focus is in events and promotional content for both brands and ministries, while moving towards the cinema and short documentary world.

Nick McLaughlin is an astronaut… that is the Stationary Astronaut. At the start of his traveling Nick took interest in moguls and their exploration of the power found within plant medicine. This trip resulted in the birth of the Stationary Astronaut and the rest is history.

After turning his full attention to his business last year Devin made the transition to Minneapolis, MN. Where he is pursing the goal of building a dream team of videographers and continuing to provide clients value through video to help them tell their story or spread a message, the possibilities are endless.
Nels Hunstad is an entrepreneur and photographer. In 2015, Nels found a void of Fargo tees representing the Fargo, ND area. This absence sparked his interest in creating his own brand called Lost In Fargo. Upon launching his company he soon developed an interest to learn photography, which has now turned into a passion and has really helped the company grow into what it is today.
Kayla Coté van Rensburg is an entrepreneur and graphic designer. Co-owner of Dak & Collaboratives, which she started in 2017 with her husband Piet. Dak & Co. started with “Dak”, which is a bison Kayla created while working on a personal graphic project. From their first collaboration with Grain Designs for wall hanging art featuring the Dak design to now turning their focus on the apparel line.
Randi Kay is a self care mentor, podcaster, yoga teacher and a massage therapist. After graduating from massage school in 2007 and becoming a registered yoga teacher in 2009, Randi has been actively doing both for 10+ years. After seeing a need for both physical and mental well-being, she later turned her focus into self-care for others. Thus, allowing her practices to be utilized through 1 on 1 mentoring and The Simple Self Care Podcast.

Travis Rosenbluth is a chef, entrepreneur, podcaster and a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. From attending culinary school to becoming a chef in Philly, Travis has and continues to develop his knowledge of the food industry. Now living in Fargo, ND the initial decision to move to North Dakota was quite interesting. While in Fargo, Travis started up a food truck called Phargo Food serving up Philly cheesesteaks. When not working the food truck he spent his time building Harvestable, which has now turned into his full-time job.
Traveling, Storytelling and Digital Marketing are just a few of Scottie Knollin’s passions in life. Starting off his career as a high school English teacher. Scottie loves telling a great story. While having traveled to 48 out of the 50 states, Scottie wanted to share his personal journey of life and his time exploring the states. This collectively lead him to start writing a travel journal, which later formed into his first book called A Long Way Home, which is available on Amazon. After publication of his first book, Scottie began writing his next book, Blue, which is coming out February 15, 2019 as a continuation from his first book.
Mary Richards, also known as Mary Maplelag, is the founder of the Maplelag Resort located in beautiful Callaway, MN. From initially buying 56 acres of land in 1973 to make maple syrup and eventually becoming one of the largest producers in Minnesota, producing over 400 gallons in one season! To now accommodating up to 200 guests in a variety of unique, yet comfortable, accommodations. She never could have believed that what started out as a syrup business would have expanded to what is now a relaxing and welcoming resort. It just goes to show that even your smallest idea can turn into something much bigger than ever imagined.
Brothers, Skyler and Dexter Dutton continue to make the most out of their lives. Skyler having worked unique careers such as a police officer and a safety consultant. “Don’t be afraid to reinvent yourself” as Skyler says it best. Knowing his work is purposeful and having a positive influence on another person is Skyler’s internal drive. With the coffee business brewing into reality, Skyler gave his younger brother, Dexter, a call. Dexter, who was still in college at the time jumped on the opportunity to come help build the coffee business. Having past experience working at a coffee shop in Oklahoma, this was in Dexter’s blood. Thus, the birth of Thunder Coffee and later ownership of Fargo Coffee emerged.
Owner and founder of Borealis Skate Co., Jack Bateman, has a passion around creating custom boards. The challenge of not being able to find a longboard design that sparked his interest was the biggest problem Jack faced when looking to buy one. This in turn led to the start of making custom designs on already completed boards. From constructing a longboard to replicate an actual Sriracha bottle to The Ever North Longboard, just about any design is possible. Now attending college at NDSU, Jack’s dream is to open up a custom board shop to expand and turn his passion into his career.
Designer and artist, Jacob Krump, has gone from freely doodling on paper to creating some of the most beautiful paintings and designs for both his personal brand and other companies. This in turn led us to reach out to him and now he is the go to guy for our graphic design needs. Jacob is also attending college at UMD entering his senior year pursuing a degree in marketing and design.
Emerging artist, Nic Jules, has had a love for music nearly his entire life. With an Associates Degree at 18 already under his belt he is now fully focused on taking his career to the next level. Along with producing music he is also into photography and makes video's both for his personal and music brand.
Minnesota native, Zac Mikulak, is a current college student pursing a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design. Before his college days Zac developed a passion for photography through some friends, which lead him to start up a few instagram accounts with one in-particular amassing almost 70k followers. As college and work became more of a focus for Zac, he decided to sell the account and focus more on building his personal brand instead.
On episode 2 I explore the fascinating life of Connor Matheson. Bookkeeping for a film company out of Chicago, Illinois, Connor has been running marathons nearly his whole life with the next big challenge being an extensive 50 mile trail race in northern Minnesota. Along with his running he also has managed to stay on and enjoy his vegan diet for the last 3 years and has no plans on quitting.
