Happy Comic Book Day! Andrew's back from fishing and recently back from the CU v Texas A&M game. Babies have stayed up too late and made Gretchen stay up too late. But hey, college football is in full swing and that will get anyone excited. The Ryder Cup is underway and the US and Europe are duking it out at Whistling Straits. Things are getting ridiculous...just like this podcast. Time to hit the play button.

It's Married With Sports 2.0! The show's been upgraded to the latest and greatest version. Married With Sports may be on ESPN's Gameday this weekend. Gretchen gets restrictive with Andrew's technology usage. Andrew nerds out on CBA's and uniforms. They talk about a truly inspirational story about a triathlon ironman.
Gretchen and Andrew are at it again only this time, Gretchy-Poo is running things. Figuratively and literally. We learn what you can do with lemons in a smoothie. It may not be for everyone. Andrew rallies back after being out of town. We learn who Gretchen's godmother is and how that is connected to hockey. Our hosts also make some amazingly bad predictions because that's what they do, unlike their favorite sports broadcasters.
This one came off the tracks in a hurry. Grab your favorite beverage and hold on to your long breeches. Gretchen and Andrew first introduce you to one of Andrew's long time friends, James V. Stafford. Shortly after, our studio got broken into! Not by burglars but something much worse. The Behrens family! Adam and Cindy crashed the podcast. Who does that? There's not much more to say other than get ready to chortle.

Gretchen and Andrew discuss how staying up for a three-hour movie is a big deal. Collin Morikawa's first PGA Major win. And if you like golf, there's a lot more coming. Kara Lawson is the new Duke Women's Basketball head coach and she's pretty cool.
Gretchen and Andrew get attacked by a spider and it was traumatic. Joe Kelly gets suspended for 13% of the season because throwing at batter's heads is bad. The MLB "postponing" games because of COVID is also bad for the MLB season. What does that mean for college football and the NFL? What isn't bad is the Brentford Bees and you need to know why.
Gretchen and Andrew had a busy weekend. There were kids learning to bike ride, hat rack building, going away parties, and a MINI BIKE! The mini bike is sure to inflict brain damage or broke bones to Andrew. What happened to Justin Verlander? Who won the NWSL Challenge Cup? The Rangers have a new stadium that no one can go see. Gretchen and Andrew get derailed by a 3 year old with an ear infection but they are back! Theres sticky buns, biscuits and gravy, go fast-fast cars, the XFL 2.0, and magic. Yep, there was a date night which involved magic. They also discuss how awesome the NBA is when they play defense. Is debating a sport? Who has more fun sledding: the kids or the parents? I think we all know the answer.
Gretchen and Andrew reflect on Kobe Bryant's legacy. At 38, he retired when he was old. Three years later at 41, he died too soon. As parents, the tragedy is difficult to come to terms with and difficult to understand. Gretchen and Andrew also discuss Super Bowl LIV and make their predictions. They also have time to make some prop bets. Lastly, they talk about their 5-year-old starting basketball.
Elijah Moore completely changed the SEC landscape with one unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Gretchen and Andrew discuss the fallout of Mike Leach becoming Mississippi State's head football coach and how the SEC West is stacked with great coaches. Gretchen went 3-1 in the NFL Wildcard Round and now makes her picks for the Divisional Round. Margaritas are on the menu again. After a small but major snafu, Gretchen and Andrew recap the champions of 2019. Gretchen's memory is strong like ox. They discuss the merits of who the best male and female athlete of the decade should be. Gretchen watched and was impressed by the NFL Wildcard weekend. Christmas and New Years was a success. Mele Kalikimaka! Andrew is a terrible body surfer and Gretchen is a terrible help when searching for sunglasses in the ocean. The dishwasher is broken which through a string of unfortunate events, broke our basement TV. Jafar is scary.
You thought it was a slow sports week, didn't you? Well guess what? It was loaded. Drew Brees breaks Peyton's passing TD record. Joe Burrow wins the Heisman. Team USA led by Tiger Woods wins the President's Cup. Andrew learns what Leotard Bias is. Gretchen wants to go back to London and go to the PDC World Championships. Lastly, Gretchen and Andrew talk about how their middle daughter found Baby Jesus and stole the show.
Andrew and Gretchen are back after the Thanksgiving break. They tried to do an episode in Albuquerque but that ended up being an epic fail. What is never an epic fail is the Army Navy football game. The College Football Committee got the four teams in playoff right too. Andrew learns that Gretchen can't live without mascara and red wine. Gerrit Cole is getting paid more than the entire Atlanta Braves and Stanford wins the Women's NCAA Soccer National Championship.
More guests! Family friends, Cole and Erica, stop by and learn Andrew and Gretchen up on curling and living in Parker. Intense lunging ensues. The group talks about Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph’s fight. Conversely, the group also discusses Brandon Matthews and how sport is awesome and there are good examples out there too. Gretchen and Andrew debate the recommendations of the National Athletic Trainers Association on how much kids should train. They get invited to a fancy dinner party and are immediately out of place. Do you know what the Sports Equinox is? They didn't either. Andrew was call inspiring by a stranger and now his head can't fit through the door.
Married With Sports gets its first guest. Our nephew, Declan, is about to drop some massive sports knowledge on you. He may only be 12 but he's got more sports smarts than you can shake a hockey stick at. We discuss the upcoming World Series and how it could divide the family, fantasy football, and how Declan and Andrew are bonded thanks to crappy owners moving our football teams out of our home towns.
Gretchen and Andrew talk about watching their kids grow and progress through life. Then they seamlessly go into the merits of robot fighting. That's talent. They then go on to debate whether or not they should parent coach their soon-to-be parents friends. This seems dangerous and should be frowned upon. Let's do it!
When will drones bring pizza to Andrew and Gretchen? One of their kids scores their first soccer goal. Gretchen almost melted. When you go to bed early and miss the fourth quarter of blow out game, it will have a wild finish. Lindsey Vonn and PK Subban are getting married creating a wildly successful sports power couple. What are some other sports power couples? And you can't say Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Andrew already said that.
Andrew and Gretchen take Married With Sports on the road. They travelled to Clemson, SC to experience some southern hospitality and tailgating. This is Gretchen's first trip to Clemson and Andrew's second. When they arrive, they immediately get lost and Gretchen learns that an Ecolodge hotel is NOT the same as a Staybridge. Andrew finds out that not a lot has changed in Clemson. The Esso Club still services cold beer and the fans are some of the best in all of college football. You outdid yourself, Clemson and Greenville. MWS can't wait to come back.
Gretchen and Andrew are invited to a housewarming party. Badmitten and power hour ensues and thankfully Andrew didn't walk through any more screen doors. The Labor Day weekend was also filled with hose water, running through sprinklers, and a margarita recipe. College football has started and Andrew is way too excited. There were some major upsets and someone earned a scholarship because of it. Gretchen is pro-trash talking so be warned.
Gretchen fends for herself and the girls as Andrew goes off fishing. Andrew's friend, Andrew, saves the fishing trip because dates are hard. Andrew Luck retires from the NFL. Gretchen meets the Godmother of the Dance Floor and does some hair whipping. College football is here! The Little League champs are crowned. The US Open has started and we learn what Gretchen's and Andrew's favorite shows are. Could it be Antiques Roadshow?

They talk about whether you can still be friends with a couple after your child poops on their carpet, their oldest daughter starts kindergarten and youth sports' declining participation. They also want to start a movement for Vince Carter to enter the NBA Dunk Contest as he enters his 22nd NBA season. Let's make this happen.
