Years of struggles, including a period in which he slept in his car, have given way to a new understanding of himself and a new approach to life. A father of three, Sweetney credits his coach, Joe Connelly, with saving his life, and a fateful trip to Uruguay with helping him come to terms with the loss of his father. An easy guy to root for, Sweetney is looking forward to suiting up again with City of Gods this summer and making another run at TBT glory.

After nearly winning TBT's inaugural Championship in 2014 with Team Barstool, Matt Walsh returned for another run in 2015 with a SLAM Magazine team. Unfortunately for the former Florida Gator and Philly native, there would be no repeat of 2014's success, as the team fell to One Chicago in its first game. The loss stings Walsh, but does not deter him. Although he led the Turkish SuperLig in scoring in '14/'15 and made the All-Star team, Walsh retired from the international game and is now settling into life in commercial real estate. Still competitive and keeping himself in top shape, Walsh will be back in TBT 2016. Expect him to continue the alliance he's formed with Donnie McGrath and for another run at a TBT Championship.

Bracket Busters GM Liam Jones originally planned to join TBT 2014 with a Florida Gulf Coast-based team, but being only 17 at the time, he had to wait. A year later, he was legal and ended up GM-ing a fascinating squad that saw former Atlantic Sun rivals from FGCU and Mercer link up to form a team that was a pre-tournament favorite to advance out of the Regionals. Alas, it wasn't meant to be as the 4th seeded Bracket Busters fell in their first game. Undeterred, Jones and the Bracket Busters will be back in 2016, better than ever, and ready to wear the mantle of favorites again, even if they made their names on teams known for bracket disruption.
