Are there thousands in this group? No.
Are there hundreds? Maybe.

Andrew is a digital marketing strategist and host of The Happy Hearthstone Podcast, the verified longest running Hearthstone Podcast!
Andrew has used his marketing skills and general optimistic nature to successfully take over this project from it's original founder and transform it into a community of gamers that work to spread knowledge and positivity in the space.

I met chad a few years ago when I was a guest on his show, Hello Tech Pros. His daily show ran for several months, but then seemed to come to an end.
In fact Chad seemed to have just fallen off the map. That is why I was excited to not only hear that he was returning to the tech podcasting world, but with a brand new venture, Career Design Patterns.
In this conversation, Chad and I talk about both of our hiatus' from the tech world as well as break down what his new journey is all about.
What is Career Design Patterns
Just like with PIT, Career Design Patterns focuses on building well rounded developers. This doesn’t mean knowing multiple languages. It more revolves around developers being able to strengthen their “dynamic skills” (also referred to as soft skills) using repeatable models that can be practiced and improved on.
He also hopes to connect people with professionals in the areas of productivity, effective team communication, and other areas that allow him to be the tour guide to your career progression and growth.

My guest this week is Ridiculous Hat.
Hat is a podcaster for the coin concede podcast. Their goal is to take the competitive side of the Hearthstone collectible card game more approachable for the everyday player.
I’ve been listening to Hat’s podcast for a few months and through getting to know him and the community he runs with friends and fellow players, there were two things that really impressed me:
- The podcast is produced extremely well in spite of the fact that none of the core hosts that run the podcast do that or play hearthstone full time.
- The crew does not seem to be entirely devoted to Hearthstone and this allows them to approach the show with a non-biased critique that is valuable for any player of any game.
In this conversation I learn a bit more about Hat’s background with audio as well as his relationship with his hobby and why he doesn’t plan to make it a full time thing.
