I was brought up in a cult that separated themselves from society. No school, no television, no music, no friends outside the cult, and no exposure to marketing and sales. For the first time ever, I’m opening up about my crazy childhood and will be exploring the effects growing up without societal influences has on an individual’s personality, world view, identity and preconceived notions.
In this episode I explain the WHY behind not being allowed exposure to media growing up. What are the DANGERS (psychologically) of being exposed to media from a young age? Are there subliminal messages stitched into movie plots? Are there certain political agendas being pushed through the media? What is CRADLE TO GRAVE marketing? All this and more!
One of the beliefs i grew up with was the fast approaching and inescapable END OF THE WORLD. I go into detail about what these predictions were and how it was all supposed to go down. I also cover things like artificial intelligence, Elon Musk and Neuralink, 5G and the possible reasons behind why people believe in these conspiracies.
In this glorious and much anticipated episode (if i do say so myself) i will be covering what a cult is, how to define one and why people join them. I also speak about "the children of God" which is the cult i grew up in and why they started in the first place! Enjoy!
