In our final episode of the season we discuss how the themes of advent can and should come full circle in our Christian walk. How we can hope in the Lord, find peace, hold joy in the waiting and live out Love like Christ.

Entropy is a slow descent into disorder; which we are all in. We can choose to let the free-fall of entropy define who we are as humans and followers of Christ. We can choose to let it harden our hearts or we can choose to share in that inevitable chaos together with those around us. We are disciples creating disciples. You can't stay on the mountain top. And luckily, the valleys are only temporary, too. In comparison, between the two, it's the valley that make the mountain top so much better. Without the two together, would we appreciate the spiritual mountain views we get to enjoy and would we learn to rely on Christ in our struggles? We have the ability to share in joy and in struggles; both with each other as fellow believers and with our maker. That doesn't always mean it will be easier or more enjoyable, but at the end of the climb up the mountain side, it makes the enjoyment all the more better. In our Christian walk, it's often difficult to accept what is the reality of our sin and the weight it holds. The Christian walk is dynamic; it’s a journey. We can easily feel like we are ‘stuck’, trying to find our way. Fortunately, Christ is always there, beckoning us back to our true calling in Him. Grace is sufficient and in it, we have the unique ability to offer insight and community to those around us who may very well be going through something very similar. “It is difficult to know the true spiritual state of those who have only known the mountaintop but never the valley, only ease but never pain. We're on our way to Miami. Driving. Looooong ride down. A healthy mix of sleep deprivation and random conversation make for a good episode. Our intention was for these Down and Back Again episodes to have a bit of structure, but setting up to record in the truck proved to be a little more difficult than anticipated.
