Sarah Myers
Of the numerous electronic music talents emergent in Washington, DC, it’s Sarah Myers whose consistency in delivery of “dank, nasty” house and techno sets as transformative experiences makes her a standout. Her name and inimitable style are respected in locales as diverse as Brooklyn, Barcelona, Burning Man and more, which adds to the significance and renown of her work. Furthermore, in the past decade, her determination and passion have matched her growth in talent and skill. This has led to her being a resident at DC-to-worldwide renowned underground hotspot Flash, promote her well regarded “Life” parties, plus host of “Hooked,”, her podcast series featuring DC local talent and a global who’s who of dancefloor titans.
As a DJ, her inspiration comes from the likes of iconic DJ/producer John Digweed, with whom she has also shared a billing. Other notable names with whom Myers has played include Raresh, Delano Smith, tINI, and Bella Sarris. Overall, Myers’ style of selection is driven by her use of music as a tool for building diverse, small, and tightly knit communities. These sonorous and unique soundscapes are grounded in Myers growing up with parents who were passionate music lovers and vinyl record collectors, plus she counts the violin, flute, guitar, and the recorder as instruments she has learned to play (poorly) throughout her life.
Sarah Myers is a dynamic and determined professional whose career has spanned everything from performing at Boulevard Barcelona, Output NYC, and Space Ibiza to her contribution to help build the underground scene in DC. "Philco is a DJ / producer from the Washington DC. A mainstay at underground venues including Flash and 18th Street lounge, he has shared the bill with acts including Jamie Jones, Kevin Saunderson, Catz ‘n Dogz, Guti, D’Julz and more. He holds a regular presence on the local circuit in the District and curates for local outfit Good Buddies -- a collective, monthly party, and soon to be label. This mix represents some of his current track rotation. Included are two unreleased original tracks from Good Buddies’ affiliates Chris Felinski and Jame Moorfeild, set to come out on the first Good Buddies EP in March 2018 -- a collaborative four piece spread with the above mentioned artists, as well as the Sticky Fingers Collective’s Hot Coffee and Philco himself."

“This all vinyl session was recorded live at Body Werk at Flash in Washington DC on October 14. For our bi-monthly Body Werk sessions at Flash, we generally bring several crates of records and jam from open to close, going where the music and crowd takes us. We never know where the journey will make us! This podcast captures my final two hour set of the evening. It had been a relatively slow night at Flash, and I went into my final set of the night spinning a bunch of minimal jams to a small, but enthusiastic crowd. After 30 minutes or so I looked up and the dance floor was packed, and together we went on an unexpected, emotional journey until the lights came on. I’m really pleased with how this came out, and I’m proud to share it with you on the Hooked Podcast.”
In terms of influence, Dansman began his electronic musical journey with the likes of DJ Tiesto (the “Magik” mix series) then moved on to such luminaries as the Chemical Brothers, before settling onto the bleeding edge of underground house and techno. BIO: Having worked and promoted parties since the age of 16, electronic music has been ingrained into the soul of Michael Rosa. Ever ambitious, Rosa sought to get deeper behind the scenes and found himself enrolling in Full Sail University at the age of 19.
Rosa’s first release came out on Illegal Alien in 2011 and was followed by a storm of highly charted and supported tunes. Most notable of which was his Represent EP on the highly renown and respected Deep Tech Records.
His subsequent Shook EP on Deep Tech cemented his place as an underground icon and rocketed through the charts with remixes from the likes of Chad Andrew & Sebastian Paiza, Deep Tech boss Duky and SCI+TEC artist Xordo. The release quickly became a staple in the crates of some of the biggest names all over the globe.
With releases out and upcoming on Draft/Draft Ltd., Kote, My First Love, Showreel, Malicious Smile, Lowroom, Natural Beat, Yoruba Grooves, Ritmik, and Tip Tap - Michael’s productions show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Halloran is a recent addition to San Francisco’s DJ community. His immersion in dance music first began with a mind blowing visit to Burning Man several years ago. Fresh perspectives both musically and spiritually naturally manifested into further exploration. This transformative experience moved into another trip, this time to South America, where he experienced the power of live music, Latin culture and Techno at it’s finest. Halloran returned to SF after a year of traveling, where his journey led him into the SF underground music scene. Wasn’t long before his passion manifested into collecting music and DJing. Shortly thereafter, he was behind the decks opening for influential artists such as Timo Maas, Matthias Tanzmann, Henry Saiz, Yolanda Be Cool and others. Halloran’s Dark, sexy, melodic and heart-moving music floods his sets throughout San Francisco and boutique festivals such as Northern Night Music Festival and Burning man. Now affiliated with one of San Francisco’s most successful Sunday parties “The Breakfast Club!” His goal is simple: "To follow his passion as a artist and playing music for people with nothing less than positive vibes!”

From the beginning, I.D.O.G.&Crypton aka Pornbugs were connected to electric music. They started their common career in various clubs and radio stations in Germany in 2000. Their first resident setting followed in 2001 at Halberstadt’s sandstone caves (Subsoil Club), which is one of the most exceptional locations in Germany. The catchy sequences in everyone of their pieces are underlined by driving beats. In 2003, the both DJs published their first release as I.D.O.G. & Crypton, followed by another five until 2005. Since 2005 the play mainly as Pornbugs, thats the techhouse-minimal-project of the guys, a extrem dancefloor oriented sound. From January 2006 they started to produce with their own labels called “BONDAGE MUSIC” and "BONDAGE LTD.", which was founded as a panel for ambitious sound from Minimal to Techhouse. You can listen to Pornbugs’ distinctive sound at her own party project "Klub der Pioniere" in various Berlin clubs....

Mihai Popoviciu, from Sibiu in Romania, is considered one of the most innovative eastern European producers of electronic music today. He was born in Romania in 1981 and was drawn to the fast-growing rave scene of the 90’s. He started producing music in 2001 being influenced by the techno and house virus and it took many years of experiments until he came up with his first vinyl release on DJ Hell’s imprint Gigolo Records in 2005.
Since then he has steadily added chapters to his personal success story with solo projects and those with partners like Markus Homm or Jay Bliss. In June 2007, his EP "First Contact" was released on Pascal Feos' label Level Non Zero Recordings. Mihai joined the Highgrade family together with Markus Homm in late 2007 and from then on the duo have had several successful releases on the Berlin based imprint like “Deaf Sniper”, “Lagoon” or “Urban Ballroom”. In 2009 the discographic activity of Mihai got very intense with releases on highly respected european labels such as Fear Of Flying, Hudd Traxx, Bang Bang or Diynamic. The club hit Bis Co (produced together with Markus and Jay Bliss) was featured in all major dance charts across Europe and confirmed once again his fine producing skills. When teaming up with Jay Bliss the duo call themselves Hermannstadt Collective, a dj and producing team that has made big waves on the dance floors all over the world with tracks like “Raw Fruit”, “Thirst Day” or “Safety Match”. Mr. Popoviciu is the kind of producer that likes to innovate and to always refine his varied sound palette surprising the audience in the best way.
It’s not a big surprise that Mihai’s reputation as a DJ grew fast in the past years taking him to Europe’s most important clubs and venues. His flavourous dj sets have a distinctive personal touch delivering you a perfectly balanced mixture of groovy beats, warm pads and musical emotions that will get you addicted.

Born and raised in Hong Kong to Indian parents, Ashwin Khosa is a globally recognized recording artist and DJ. He is a recent graduate of Ivy League institution UPenn. Exposed to 90s trance and house music by his father at the tender age of 9, Ashwin has grown a deeply rooted passion for electronic music that drives his career today. Ashwin spent his formative years grooving to the likes of Jamie Jones, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, and Dubfire at raves around the world, which influenced his ear and has shaped his signature sound. His music features dynamic grooves, deep basslines, and complex musicality, all bundled together by a gripping soundscape. Ashwin has performed at venues and nightclubs around the world, including residencies in both New York and Hong Kong. He has also performed alongside underground heavyweights such as Adam Beyer, Chus + Ceballos and former Space Ibiza resident Dee Montero. At 18 years old, his ‘Affirmative/Negative’ EP, released on Fever Sound Limited, peaked at no. 36 on the Beatport Tech House charts. His latest productions are soon to be released by some of the most respected record labels in underground house music. Growing up the son of a DJ and vinyl collector, Tric was surrounded by music from an early age. Finding his way from 80’s electro to garage, drum ‘n’ bass and finally house, he hasn’t looked back, as house music became the foundation of his musical life.
Since recording his first mixes back in 2008, Tric has performed at Moustache Bar in London, held a residency at Townhouse in Guernsey, played and hosted events at Space Ibiza, Sankeys Ibiza and Mumak Ibiza.
After finishing university, Tric decided to make the move to Ibiza in order to more fully immerse himself in the music he loves, quickly gaining attention from island heads, landing gigs at Plastik Beach, Es Vivè, Bubbles, Guarana, as well as several villa after parties, alongside DJs like Mark Ramsey, Chad Andrew, Sebastian Paiza, Randall M, Bella Sarris, Patrick Grooves, Ele Mondiale, David Gtronic, Remo, Kevin Cook and Webby.
However, Tric’s passion for the scene extends beyond the glitz and glam of the DJ box. Over the summer, he spent countless hours helping with setup and production for parties like “Defected In The House”, “It’s All Gone Pete Tong” and “F*** Me I’m Famous”. He also caught the attention of the owner of Sankeys Ibiza, due to his sheer persistence. Tric ended up assisting with promotion for Carnival, Diynamic, Fuse, Mulletover and VIVa Warriors. His hard work, passion and determination didn’t go unnoticed!

Adis Hotic aka Duky was born in Bosanski Novi, Bosnia & Hercegovina on January 19, 1989. He has been very passionate about music his whole life. Growing up in the 90's, Duky loved listening to Hip-Hop. Hearing drums, rhythms, basslines, and deep lyrics by artists like Wu-Tang, Mos Def, Nas, Gangstarr, and Mobb Deep greatly influenced Duky to start working on his own music. At age 13 he started messing around with FL studio making hip-hop instrumentals.
A few years later, electronic music was introduced to him in Detroit at DEMF. He immediately fell in love with it and started producing house instead of hip-hop. Duky quickly gained respect and support with his remix of "Morning Cigarette" by major players in the game such as tINI, Enzo Siragusa, Chris Lattner, Richie Hawtin, and Marco Carola. Each track Duky produces is a reflection of his emotions at that specific point in his life along with passion, joy, and love for music. His style consists of groovy/dubby basslines, hip-hop influenced drums, deep abstracts sounds, and a touch of swing.
In August 2011, Duky launched his own vinyl/digital label Deep Tech Records, which has been releasing some of the finest underground music available on today's market. The label includes music by talented and prestigious artists like Miro Pajic, Randall M, Chad Andrew, Jun Akimoto, Ittetsu, Brett Jacobs, Butane, Someone Else, Loquace, Bodeler and many others. Now Duky works hard every day to maintain his busy schedule juggling around label work, gigs, and most importantly his own productions.

Born and raised in New York City, Fernando Arcieri always embraced his diverse background with pride. As the son of a prominent violin maker and the younger brother of a punk rock guitarist turned techno DJ and producer, his culturally rich upbringing was filled with musical influences.
Having played the Piano and Saxophone throughout his younger years, Nando's tastes grew more and more diverse as he got older. While New York hip hop acts like A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Gang Starr, and Wu-Tang Clan claimed most of Nando's attention during his teenage years, he kept aware of all else that was taking shape outside of that genre. The first electronic music artists that caught his ear in the late 90's were Deep Dish, Sasha & Digweed, and Danny Tenaglia among others. From that point on, Nando's love for electronic music began to flourish.
Having spring boarded his career in Miami, Nando has moved dancefloors everywhere from Ibiza to NYC to the BPM Festival in Mexico. Although his sound is mainly comprised of non-commercial house and techno - whether the occasion calls for deep, pumping, melodic, percussive, funky, or techy grooves - Nando's love for music will never be adequately described in just a few words.

Gazdaru Claudiu Cristian aka DUBPHONE represents the second wave of DJ&Producers of electronic music in Bucharest, Romania. Dubphone is an independent artist and at the moment, all his new productions take place in Valencia(ES) his new home starting with the early 2011 and after in 2013 he is moving in Ibiza for a new musical experience .
When he was just five years old, Dubphone had his first touch on the piano keys. It was the moment that made him fall in love with the music. Passing trough years of piano lessons and gaining more and more knowledge on both , musical and personal life, he got extremely attached on electronic music.
Didn't took too long for Dubphone to have his first projects for labels like : Monique Musique(Canada),Kosmophono (Italy) Sleep Is Commercial (Berlin) and Baile,Musik(Frankfurt), labels that produced and released some of his best tracks reaching this way top 5 tech house & minimal releases on Beatport and other stores . In the near future Dubphone has 2 releases on the well knowed labels : Soundpark Italy on vinyl and the second on Kosmophono Records including 2 super remixes from Nima Gorji and Wigbert
Short while after came along his first featuring with artists like: Rosario Internullo,Chad Andrew,Frink,Egal3 but also featuring with overseasproducers. His music style has influences of Deep/Tech rhythms and joyful vocals.
Dubphone played in major Romanian clubs in other cities and in Bucharest like : Studio Martin,Crown Club,No Name,Trippin,Barocco,Silver Afterhours,Sugar Afterhours,Daimon Club,Sky Hotel,Mansarda,Freddo,Himera and many others .
Outside of the country borders, he had the opportunity to get up on stages at festivals in Spain,Ibiza,Italy,Moldova,Switzerland,France,England,Germany and Bulgaria. and in December 2013 he beggins his first tour in America including shows in cities like : Miami,New York,Orlando and Puerto Rico
Dubphone is gaining more and more recognition on the market from the listeners but also from the music industry. This year he took 5th place at Nights.ro Awards for the at the best electronic music producers and 3rd place for at the best clubbing profile radio show in Romania. His music projects are supported by international names like: Raresh & Rhadoo (ar:pi:ar), Marco Carola, Troy Pierce, tINI,Robert Dietz,Magda,Luciano,Loco Dice and many more

DJ and producer Agustin Alvarez (b.1989) is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He moved to Italy at the age of 16, but the calling to electronic music came in 2010 when he moved to Ibiza, Spain, for his first summer season.
At the beginning of 2012 he came back to his hometown of Buenos Aires for 10 month. During this time, Agustin established himself as a well-respected DJ.
Working hard in the studio has paid off. Only producing for a short time, he has already gained support and recognition by record labels (Alboratory/ Sponik Muzique) and Djs. There are many techno producers whose works are devoid of the subtleties that would suggest a wider musical competency and understanding. Then there are those whose grooves are infused with painstakingly produced little details and a sense of wonderment that reaches beyond beyond mere dancefloor functionality. Whether he’s producing thumping techno or downtempo chillout, David Gtronic’s sense of musicality always shines through.
He is largely known for what he likes to term “aggressive”, hard grooving techno - but it’s those obscured flourishes of organic elements that colour his sound which really set him apart from the pack. Captivating releases that he’s released on labels such as Suara, Monique Musique, Kina Music, Serkal, Oblack and Moan Recordings and remixes for the likes of Santos and Yaya have found support from the likes of techno deities including Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Dubfire.
His Terrace Podcast has grown since launching in August 2008 to reach almost 1,000,000 downloads in total, showcasing his eclectic and carefully-crafted journey-style DJ sets to listeners across the world. Whatever he puts his hands to, it’s always imbued with the sense of musical mysticism and contrast between the natural and the artificial that he strives to bring to life. David relishes the challenge of crafting techno that reveals itself gradually to the careful listener, emotions embossed into his pounding rhythms by way of subtle textures and melodies that lay deep beneath the surface. Fredy & D'Joseph are two electronic music producers, the first, Fredy, based in Luanda, Angola and the second D'Joseph in Porto, Portugal.
Their first release "The Rockefeller EP", got a massive feedback from such names as : Danny Tenaglia, Richie Hawtin, DJ Sneak, Luciano , Davide Squillace, Seth Troxler, among others.
More recently their second release the "Durban Poison EP" had massive support from Richie Hawtin who played it in almost every set for the last month from Ibiza to Frankfurt, from New York to London, featuring "Roma" in his CNTRL: Beyong EDM presentation.

After years of producing music under various guises, Jon Charnis found his true calling in the slower, darker, and deeper spheres of House music. The re-invention manifested beyond music as the former DC native relocated to the city of Los Angeles while launching his new moniker (his actual birth name).
From then on it didn't take long to make his impact felt. His track 'Prophecy' was spotted by Innervisions boss, Dixon, who signed the track to his prestigious Berlin based label after road testing it at some of the world's premier parties.
He followed this up with an official remix of Art Department's Burning Man anthem, "Robot Heart", a collaboration with production partners Lovecraft and Prab K. And with upcoming tracks on No.19, Supernature, and All Day I Dream, 2013 will be a year to watch for this fast rising producer.
