DJ Rado began his journey as a DJ in Sydney in 2004, playing house music in the city’s renowned Oxford Street club-zone. Fans embraced his performance style: traversing progressive, house, tech, techno & deep-house with rare effortlessness, swiftly creating an energetic and effective fusion of accessible and underground sounds.
Within months, he was spinning two residencies a week at Manacle and Stonewall. Within a short time he became a regular feature at the city’s top super clubs Home, The Ivy (I Remember House), Fox Studios for Sleaze Ball (a Mardi Gras event), as well as Oxford Street hotspots Arq, The Phoenix, Colombian and Midnight Shift.
In 2008, Rado returned to his home continent, setting up his base in the iconic dance hub Amsterdam. His time in Europe has led to a development in his sound palette: a soulful deep-grooving rhythmic blend of house-techno-tech-progressive. He is currently in his eighth year as headline resident at the seminal local party Bear Necessity (in locations: Odeon, Arena, Club Air, Panama), as well as weekly at Club Church, The Web, and The Eagle. Other local special events include Milkshake Festival and Hard On.
Rado was an early advocate of the digital revolution - a pioneer of DJing on CDs when most jocks insisted vinyl was the future. He now further embraces digitalism using Traktor software and enjoying the freedom of remixing on the fly in his DJ sets.
On tour, catch DJ Rado at events like ADE (Amsterdam), SEXY @ Bootshaus (Cologne), Madbear (Madrid), Wonderworld (Zurich), Greenkomm (Cologne), Gay Village (Rome), UC (Frankfurt), Naughty/Hunkut (Brussels), Grosso (Rome), BRUT (London) Into The Tank (Barcelona) as well as representing Bear Necessity in Tel Aviv, Antwerp, Barcelona, London, Cologne & Madrid.
Tune in to Sorry Shoes Radio, broadcast on Radio FG Paris, Deeredradio Berlin, GoneFM Montpellier, where Rado is a monthly guest.
Since 2011 Rado has been producing and remixing with Mike Kelly in Cologne, for which he created the production alias “Eastnwest”. Their remix of “Don’t” for Londoners Tom Marchant and Lizzie France blew the clubs away and was the top Beatport 2012 download for the label Sorry Shoes in Germany. Next up they tackled Barcelona’s finest on Nacho Chapado & Smaz feat. Patricia Leidig "Trust In The Universe" (Guareber Recordings). Later he Rado & Mike joined DJ Mike J and violinist Dylan Naylor to create an epic string version of Giangi Cappai's Alma Matris classic "Circuito" (Mantra Vibes). Most recently Rado & Mike remixed Tom Stephan's cult cut re-presented as Ben Manson & Gerald Henderson - "Magic Orgasm" (Twisted Records).
The first original production is finally out in 2015 on Hoxton Whores’ label Whore House: Voltaxx & Mike Kelly & Eastnwest featuring Sua Amoa “I’m In Lust”

...easy listening for your sunny weekend afternoons on your roof terraces. Or sunsets. Or nights. Also suitable for the 'beyond' listeners. (You know, the ones who just came home from a busy night clubbing) To start or finish off your parties. Works best with cocktails. Cheers, enjoy & share Rx
