Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Jaleel Ahmad Akhoon (DB) is Najeeb-ul-Tarfain (whose parents are spiritually blessed (Allah Walay)). His father Mufti Niaz Muhammad Khutni (RA) was a great scholar and student of Mulana Badr-e-Alam Meerthi (RA). His mother was from the Saharanpuri family and his grand father Qari Abul Hassan Saharanpuri (RA) was a great servant of Hazrat Mulana Shah Abdul Raheem Raey Puri (RA). Hazratwala passed his matriculation examination in 1978 but with the special blessing of Allah (SWT) he got admission in Jamia Islamia Binori Town Karachi and spent eight years in learning deen. It was the peak time of Jamia Islamia Banori Town and every teacher of the Jamia was spiritually very high. By the grace of Allah he was much benefited by their guidance and spirituality. He was a special student and servant of Mufti Wali Hasan (RA) Mufi-e- Azam Pakistan.

After completing his studies in 1987, his father assigned him the responsibility of teaching and management of Jamia-ul-Uloom Eid Gah Bahawalnagar. He was appointed as Sheikh-ul-Hadith in 1992. He is teaching Bukhari and Timazi Shareef since then. In year 1980, he got spiritually attached with respected Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA). He had been in service of Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA) since then. He is one of the old companions of Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA). Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA) used to love him very much and gave him special attention and affection.

Once In the presence Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA), Hazratwala delivered a bayan (lecture) in Khanqah Imdadia Ashrafia Gulshan Iqbal Karachi. Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA) was very happy with his bayan (lecture) and said ” Mulana was my photo state and now he has taken my full state”. This was the sign of “Nisbat-e-Etihadi”(The highest level in which sheikh and mureed’s level become same). In 1996, Arif Billah Hazrat Mulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar (RA) gave him the responsibility of spiritual guidance (Khilafat) and advised him to start this khanqahi work (Soul Purification, Teaching Love of Allah and Ethics) in Bahawalnagar.
