This week, Byron Tardif hosts Web Camps TV while Cory is away. Byron talks to Richard Morris, a member of the open source community, who developed a framework called Swashbuckle which facilitates swagger in your ASP.NET Web API applications.
Swagger is a JSON format which describes HTTP based APIs to enable automatic documentation among other things.

The Support portal is a Site Extension which provides a set of capabilities which help a developer Diagnose and Debug bugs by providing an aggregate of the IIS and FREB logs.

This week Cory is joined by Jeff Mendoza and David Justice to talk about the updates that have been made in the newest release of the Vagrant Azure plugin for Vagrant. The update include the ability to setup multiple machine configuration in Azure in the same Cloud Service. Additionally, Vagrant Azure now has the ability to use WinRM on any host machine so it is possible to create and provision Windows Machines in Azure from a Linux/Mac Machine.

This week Cory talks about Scalable WordPress which can be provisioned from the Azure Marketplace. In the demo, Cory demonstrates a WordPress site which is available in two regions (East and West US) traffic to the sites are distributed by using performance based routing with Traffic Manager. This geographically distributed WordPress site uses a active-active replicated MySQL Instance provided by ClearDB.
At the end of the episode, we cover a new Site Extension available in the Extension gallery which enables WordPress CLI in Azure Websites. Learn how you can run the command line tools against your Azure Websites from within Terminal or PowerShell.

This module is implemented using AngularJS and enables the ability to do single sign-on from your front-end JavaScript code. This week Cory goes solo to show you a great tool for working on different projects, or working with large teams, called Vagrant. Vagrant is a tool which helps you create and configure lightweight, reproducible, and portable development environments. Vagrant leverages virtualization technologies such as Virtual Box, VMWare Fusion/Workstation and Hyper-V to stand up development environments which are configured using a Vagrantfile and in some cases a provisioning script which can use Ansible, CFEngine, Chef, Docker, Puppet or Salt.
In addition to the provisioners above the Hyper-V Provider for Windows adds the ability to provision your Windows boxes using Windows Remote Management (WinRM).
