The way we are armed by God clearly describes the nature of the battle we are engaged in, we are armed with the truth, with Righteousness, with the Gospel of peace, with Faith, with Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.
God wanted us to fight with filament and triumph over them he wouldâve armed us with fire from heaven or given us legions of angels emerging from heaven to slay all those who engage us.
Our battle is to resist these evil forces which reign over the sons of disobedience whose mind is darkened by ignorance and wickedness. These forces strive to oppose our faith, and holiness, they yearn to have dominion over us by force or fraud.
Our mission is to rescue those who are under their control and also resist their influence in our lives with the armor of God.
Take heedâ¦
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4
Despite the fact that weâre surrounded by death, sorrow, pain and tears from disappointment, there is an assured magnificent end for those who hold their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you prepared for this everlasting joy?
âFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.â
ââJeremiah⬠â29:11â¬â¬â¬
We may fear and mistrust the plans of God and think they are against us but to those who belong to God even what appears evil is for good. Another verse in Romans 8:28 says all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
So build up your courage, build your trust in His word and in His promises and trust that He shall deliver. Wishing you a glorious and prosperous new year.

âOn the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, âLet us cross over to the other side.â Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, âTeacher, do You not care that we are perishing?â Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, âPeace, be still!â And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, âWhy are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?â And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, âWho can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!ââ

âThe Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way In the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet.â

âSo he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: âI am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.â Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, âSurely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.â And he was afraid and said, âHow awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!ââ

âBut the Lord sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken up.â
ââJonah⬠â1:4⬠â
âNow when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, saying, âMen, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.â Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul.â
ââActs⬠â27:9-11⬠â
âBut not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called Euroclydon. So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her drive. And running under the shelter of an island called Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty. When they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven. And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. On the third day we threw the shipâs tackle overboard with our own hands. Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up. But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, âMen, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying, âDo not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.â Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.â

COME ALONG FRIEND
Glory to Christ Jesus the soon-coming groom,
Who took our filth upon the cross saving us from doom,
Ooh, the affliction of men, disease and death, making this world a dark room,
He was the light that shone in our hearts and loosed all the chains,
His words pure life, relief like the rains,
Giving hope to the hopeless and healing to pains,
Come along friend! as I put down this pen,
Know that weâre one blood, to Him little children,
He shall forgiveâ¦only let your heart be open.
