Originally from Amsterdam, Dr. Squee has been into DnB since before the turn of the century and DJing for about two decades. Long time resident DJ on DnB radio Jungletrain.net, currently on a bi-weekly Tuesday evening schedule (21:00-23:00 UK time).
Recording of my radio show from April, playing a two hour vinyl set with a lot of old late 90ies Atmospheric tunes. Very slow mixing relaxing vibes and some really great tunes. Also available for download, enjoy!

Recording of my radio show of 9th of October 2017 where I played a full two hour vinyl set themed to the typical sounds of Usual Suspects, Universal Project and Vicious Circle from their peak era somewhere between 1999 and 2006. Heavy stomping techno fueled DnB rollers like only they can deliver. Only the closing track is slightly out of theme, just because it mixes so nice with Vessel and has an awesome Blade Runner sample :-) Enjoy!

Here's the full track I created for Blu Mar Ten's 2017 remix competition (see: http://djmag.com/news/blu-mar-ten-remix-competition ). After hearing the samples I wanted to go for something floaty atmospheric, not unlike the late 90ies tunes, but also wanted to do something a bit unusual beat-wise, and not sticking to the standard stepping patterns. I based the rhythms of the kick and snare on the Cuban clave rhythms found in Salsa, Rumba and Son, which makes it a bit in the style of some old Pariah tunes perhaps who were masters at creating amazing unusual complex beat patterns.
The track didn't make it to the "best 16", perhaps because it isn't that polished, but I really enjoyed the vibe I created and also really loved finally writing a whole tune again. Just over one hour recording of my last Journey into the Sun radio show! Playing some of my favourite tracks, going all out and then scaling it back to a nice ending. It has been one and a half great years running this show from California. Now I will be returning back to Amsterdam, and hopefully start up a new show early in 2016 when my move has completed and my studio is set up again. (no tracklist)
